not worth it for gpu either.

I thought it was going to be a fair launch, so might have had a little luck at the start. But it was released early and there were 30 blocks already mined before I could even download the wallet.

Then the wallet didn't work because it needed deprecated libraries.

For me this coin is shit. The asics can have it.

You need the boost libraries.  You can run this if on Ubuntu:

sudo apt-get install libboost-all-dev

Does anyone know how to fix this error:

Code:
./digimoney-qt: error while loading shared libraries: libboost_thread.so.1.54.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

needs libboost-all-dev-1.54 specifically

and a few other unmentioned dependencies besides.

Thanks devs, you've screwed over the cpu and small scale gpu  miners.

Just 17 hours left and still no wallet release?
I need to create a wallet adress to start mining when the coins goes live ..
Will there be any release?

Hi wallet links will be updated today, its only a few seconds to create an address.

if the wallet runs out of the box on your system and you don't spend 6 hours compiling and watching the difficulty shoot up

Thanks gang!

It's actually picked up traction. Trading at .19cents USD lmao.

Wondering - any devs or community members are interested in some generous bounty? Not looking to make profit here, just want to send it off to live on it's own, haha!

1) $2FACOIN wallet for Android and iOS

2) Helping with migration to other exchanges (Just need someone with experience working on the Wave platform for this type of thing)

3) Discussing and possibly executing conversion of this coin into a POW/POS and allowing it to live on its own

Thanks!

could be fun! Will message you.

I can't message you unless you allow messages from newbies.

"Failed to connect to any of seed peers"

I just found that link searching for dosh coin on google so not sure what this ANN is. I'm inclined to think this is a scam as way too little detail and the just posting for a friend line doesn't sound right.

BE CAUTIOUS

29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LIPCOIN - cryptocurrency for all on: January 02, 2018, 01:58:08 PM
I'm a bit sceptical of LIPCOIN having mined it for 12 hours with a hash rate of ~100 kH/s but still nothing in my wallet.

I used lipcoind initially with setgenerate true

also used the lipcoin pool linked from the lipcoin website with the recieving address PtHH8He12v6sCkWfnYqFWmcKHtL5xnpoYD

What gives? Surely there should be at least some unconfirmed balance on the wallet? Unless it is a scam and the hashrates are just being hijacked to mine some other scrypt coin?

I am sorry to hear that, the problem, we're very serious in what we believe and in what we are doing, with 100 kh hashrate is very difficult because the difficulty of the network has increase considerably,

We don't want you to waste your time, i gonna give you 100 free LIPC, check your wallet. good luck.

Thanks very much! That showed in the wallet straight off.

Sorry if I was suspicious, I'm new to cryptocurrency apart from having bought 10 bitcoin in 2011 and subsequently losing the wallet! I have/had a sheet of paper with the private key somewhere and may have the disk the original wallet was stored on. Slowly searching for that but decided to educate myself on it in the mean time.

I set up a cryptonite clone on my laptop and solomined it just for fun. I was not expecting lipcoin mining to produce that many coins, but also did not know the difficulty was gone so high!

Thanks again and good luck with LIPCOIN.
