Sometimes I feel as stupid as I am!  I can download all 14 files but can't get them to open correctly with 7-Zip so I can merge the files into one?

after trying repairwallet just now and a few days ago, when i go to the kick ass crawler and enter a transaction number i still get this message from crawler "No information available about transaction(Error Code: -5)   "

i can kinda understand the transaction on my register still showing unconfirmed after a repairwallet but if the transaction id number is not on the chain whatdoes that mean?  sorry my last question of the day lol!

Running repairwallet from Command Line Banking should recover any inputs that were used in a transaction like this but it'll still show in the register as unconfirmed.

Can you make the newest blockchain database and put on the internet ?

I am synced with the correct blockchain. I still have several transactions that show in my wallet with no confirms. These transactions are not on the blockchain I have used the kick ass crawler to determine this. So I have been searching around google for maybe a way to remove the unconfirmed transactions, these transactions date back to last of January to first of febuary   I found something called zapwallettxes function but not sure how it works or if it will work with cents wallet. Anybody know what this function will do to cents wallet and the steps to use it?

I have entered resendtx and entered ofcourse. You said it would work after awhile, is that like minutres or hours? So far nothing has happened.

I have checked your crawler for each of the transactions and it shows up nothing, could that mean that the transactions have never been input on this chain by my wallet? if so what should i try next?

Now that i have a synced blockchain i must need to do something with transactions i've sent in the past. They are listed in my register but have no confirmations and are dim. I have four deposits to Cryptsy, one made earlier this morning to just try, it was for 3 Cents though. Also three of the 0 that was sent out by my wallet are also not confirmed. plus I have a balance on my overview page that is listed as incoming.

Posting my response to that PM here as it may help others:



You don't necessarily need to copy the private keys, you can recover from an existing wallet even if you switch chains.

For a start ignore the block crawler at http://altexplorer.info/chains/CENT/block_crawler.php because they're not even synced and using an outdated version which makes it impossible to sync from scratch. You need to be using Pennies 0.10.2.1.abe which can be downloaded here



You should instead use my block crawler here as a point of reference:

Ensure your Pennies client is closed and then Delete everything from %Appdata%\Pennies except for wallet.dat and pennies.conf and then download this archive and extract the contents into %Appdata%\Pennies.

Next open up pennies.conf in a text editor and remove any nodes you may already have in there and replace with the peers listed here. Also add this line:

Save the file and exit then load up Pennies 0.10.2.1, as your client will be rescanning the blockchain it will take longer to start up than it normally does so give it time.

Wait until you're fully synced, you should only be 24 hours behind at most and you can check the state of synchronization by comparing against my block crawler. Once you're sure you're fully synced click on the Command Line Banking button and type:

This will reclaim any transactions that didn't make it onto the fork such as blocks you may have staked on another fork. You will then be able to restake them on this fork.

EDIT: You can remove rescan=1 from pennies.conf once it's started up initially.
