21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we adopt altcoin to pay wages? on: May 11, 2018, 01:14:56 PM
I think that would be perfect. IMO a stablecoin is the perfect solution for all of this. At the end of the day we all hate price volatility especially if you're getting paid for a living. I'm a big fan of Havven and their stablecoin.

You should look into them. Great project, team, and development.

https://www.newsbtc.com/2018/03/05/havven-decentralized-stable-coin-ico-successfully-closed-raises-usd-30-million/

nomin or nUSD, which you mentioned has release date on June 11, when Havven payment network will be launched. Like you, I also see great potential in stablecoins and I'm holding my Havven tokens from the airdrop. I'm excited to see how the launch will go and if the nUSD will fulfilled expectations and work as promised. The stablecoins could be the method of payment if they succeed to provide stability and security.

Good morning,

max6575 got a warning from DIW bounty manager for the last 3 weeks, his approved posts have been canceled. I hope this will make him think twice before posting another post like that.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we adopt altcoin to pay wages? on: May 10, 2018, 08:38:51 PM
No we can't pay salaries in altcoins. They dont provide stability, security and other important factors needed to do that.
24  Other / Meta / Re: Poor translation, random word generator or something else? Mod, please review. on: May 10, 2018, 08:02:08 PM
So this is what's going on with the max6575 spamming case. After I informed his Signature Campaign manager - DIW, and got this reply from him:
Thank you AlekSandRAx for pointing this out to us. Keep up the good work!
max6575 still got 7 posts approved. They are all the same spam as the ones in my original post. I'll confront DIW manager with this fact and report all of max6575's spam posts to moderator to prevent him being paid for spamming the forum.

I've checked his old posts again and he's random word spamming from September 30, 2017, when he registered. How was he not noticed all of this time?

I believe he deserves a ban. Any suggestions?

While I support merit system I don't think it's fair that at the launch of the system old ranks remained unchanged. This is controversial, because you now see Members and above that make spam posts, yet they have access to all the benefits of current rank, while newbies have to work very hard to get to the same rank...

Another thing, if all of you, contributors to the forum dislike Bounties and alt section in general, why the forum supports it? Allow only ANN threads, let Bounties move somewhere else...
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Potential on: May 08, 2018, 08:26:17 PM
As long as projects will see potential and benefits of Ethereum and use it to build the applications on, Ethereum has a bright future. But there are some bug issues, costs and numer of transactions per second that must not be overlooked. It's possible that in time some Platform manages to combine all the benefits under one Smart Contract Platform. In this case the future of Ethereum might not be so certain.

Message to his Signature Campaign manager sent! Let's see if I get any feedback.

This is a reply I got from bounty manager yesterday. Spreadsheet hasn't been updated yet, tomorrow is end of campaign's week. We'll see if the stakes will be given.

Thank you AlekSandRAx for pointing this out to us. Keep up the good work!
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I do not believe ico anymore on: May 08, 2018, 11:41:51 AM
i invested in 3 ico but they all make me uprooted.
1. ATFS
2. BEZOP
3. LEDU
and i think this ico causes bitcoin and etherium prices to drop.never trust again to ico.

I don't know what you are complaining about exactly. If you look at BTC or ETH charts the price of both significantly dropped after the launch. Your ICO's are very new to the market and from what I see, ATFS is doing quite well. This is a long term investment, give it some time.

*Looks like OP gave up on the forum too.

Yes, there are things you can do:
1) open a thread in meta (which you already did) => Hope the dude gets banned, or at least red tagged by DT members

2) report his posts to the moderator(s) => hope he doesn't get payed because all his posts get nuked, thus remove the incentive to start all over when his account gets banned

3) contact the bounty manager of the campaign he's spamming for => hope he doesn't get payed, thus remove the incentive to start all over when his account gets banned.

As a matter of fact: if you contact the bounty manager and you receive no answer, it might be a good idear to update this topic with this information, maybe somebody on DT would be willing to red tag the bounty manager untill he complies in removing shitposters like this one...

Thank you for the tips!

So is there anything we can do to stop it? I've been looking for a thread to post this in, but havent' found any appropriate.

Forget about mod. It does not make sense for me, why the bounty manager is paying the guys LOL
Check his recent post history

You are right! On top of spamming the forum he's getting stakes for it.
32  Other / Meta / Poor translation, random word generator or something else? Mod, please review. on: May 07, 2018, 11:03:45 AM
This guy's english was poor from the begining, but the posting become 100% shitposting. His replies are not off-topic, they are meaningless. Posts serve only to reach weekly bounty quotes as it looks like.

This are just posts from yesterday, there's a lot more of them like this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1179071

So you want to stop shitposting on the forum? Why don't you start with guys like this?

Wth is this supposed to mean? Did you get a bad translation from google translator or something? This makes no sense, no matter how you place words, add commas...

Wait, I get it! It's a puzzle, right??? If not, you must speak gibberish...
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where is the tech? on: May 06, 2018, 08:33:36 PM
hi there

i am really getting bored. i am interested in the tech of all these altcoins too. but in this subforum nobody is takling about it.

ICOs, bounties or airdrop, how to get rich fast, investment short or long term, bla bla bla.

arent there any news about technology of all these coins that are out there? do i have to leave and find a new forum?

What tech? In this section you can't get a proper answer even from developers of the projects. Altcoins are mostly ERC-20 or some other established platform based, which means they are mainly just copies of another coins and they serve only to raise funds for the project. There are very little coins, with innovative technology behind them.

Another factor, Altcoin Discussion is where Signiture Campaigns for low ranks takes place. We have low motivation for technical knowledge and overloaded schedules, because like it or not, we are here for the money.

But since you're getting bored, why don't you take on your own initiative, and help improving Altcoins section.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Successful ICO becoming failure for investors!!!! on: May 04, 2018, 09:44:01 AM
While your theory seems possible, some proof to back up your arguments would be in place. As long as you have no solid evidence, this is only a speculation.

37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where can I find a good bounty? please show me!! on: May 02, 2018, 10:59:24 AM
Don't be lazy and do your research to find a suitable campaign for you. Even if someone pinpoints you to some bounty claiming it's the best, there's no guarantee.

Anyway I don't see how you're gonna meet the requirements to qualify for any bounty with that attitude.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No one like this, ICO utemis on: April 30, 2018, 04:32:15 PM
People probably don't see the need for this project
39  Other / Archival / Re: How about additional test to rank up? on: April 30, 2018, 02:09:37 PM
You are right, this was a mistake. Snce this was already suggested before, moderator please delete this thread.
40  Other / Archival / Re: How about additional test to rank up? on: April 30, 2018, 10:11:01 AM
They would still have to read what they will copy if they want to give the right answer. I didn't say they have to learn word by word. It's enough if they read through.

If I were you I would lock this thread and stick to posting about bounties, altcoins and abortion. Leave the Game theory to Theymos fella

Thank you for your advice, but I think I will do and post as I think it is right. I have the right to do so. I can accept critics and consequences of my actions. How am I supposed to learn and develop abilities with what you suggest? I understand you don't like my idea, you might think it's stupid, but there is no need to insult.
