21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CREDITS - New Blockchain for financial industry [OFFICIAL THREAD] on: July 24, 2018, 08:42:56 AM
I jumped on the Telegram channel, and the official word is that they are updating their DNS servers.

I watched half of their new, live press conference on YouTube, and while it's an improvement, it's still looks like a team who is banking on something besides a fan base. You can take that as a negative, or as a positive.

I have read that the whole point of having an ICO, is because you don't have to answer to your investors in any meaningful way, and this would see to be what we are seeing now.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CREDITS - New Blockchain for financial industry [OFFICIAL THREAD] on: July 24, 2018, 01:52:52 AM
Take their telegram channel with a grain of salt. It’s an utter mess and chaos.

Same for their twitter feed. Bullshit all over.

Only thing keeping me interested in this projecf is the involvement of the IBM director (he has credits on his linkedin page) and the audits kf 2 respectable auditors that are supposedly ongoing.

But wont save this project from crashing to ICO prices though

So i’ll aim to buy 10k at c $.10 somewhere in the next frw weeks.

I sold my stash at $.32 so I have some leeway before needing to buy back.

I sold about 2/3 of my holdings of Credits at $.53, But I really think there will be a pretty good pop at $.18 which was the ICO price. I don’t think it’s going to the pre-ICO level, because I suspect the market is going to turn around this fall and later in the year, at large. If bitcoin gets back above $10,000, I think all boats will float Higher, and the protocols, especially.

Most of the money supporting the entire crypto market, is related to the gambling phenomena in Asia. If you’ll notice, Coinbene been has suddenly accelerated to the top of the volume list, for Credits, and there is a reason for that. Those are primarily Asian buyers, as opposed to the western buyers which you find on KuCoin.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CREDITS - New Blockchain for financial industry [OFFICIAL THREAD] on: July 23, 2018, 09:56:53 PM

As I recall, most of the money is tied up in escrow, so there's not exactly a pathway for that sort of exit.

However, the lack of communication on Twitter or Telegram, as to why their website is down is interesting. I think this is a potentially a deliberate attempt to shake out the weak hands, but this is just a theory, based on the way they eliminate any critics, or perceived critics on their Telegram channel. What better way of eliminating your critics than to simply scare them into selling?

As crazy as this sounds, I would argue that now is the time to buy, actually.

This is stupid, you should never scare your customers away.

I think it’s about as stupid as banning someone from their telegram channel, simply for suggesting that the team attend Comic Con in San Diego, as part of their marketing plan.

Some idiot in Russia probably read the word “Con” and thought I was suggesting some form of fraud.

If you sell, because you think they’re idiots, I think you would be right.

Sebastian said they would run with the money.
They havent done that, and it’s still seems to be “running”.

But yeah they might close the doors soon, saying the community turned on us boohoo we dont want to work anymore boohoo thanks for tr money boohooo.

And they are gone.

So mainnet has launched. Now what? How do we get the coins for tokens? Are there any airdrops or active projects?

They said it would be around the Q4 of the year.

On the other side..
Credits website is unreachable. Is this it?

Website is online.
Monitor is offline though

Credits.com is down .... nothing on Twitter or Telegram?

I think the price is being driven down on purpose, to ICO, why is the question?

Why not just ban these bots? It makes Credits look like a scam.

........... Terribly managed project...
I sincerely hope that Igor gets booted from the management and some decent CEO with actual crypto experience is appointed.
Maybe then this project has some future to it.
...............
But dont hold your breath, this team has been horrible at keeping deadlines and acfually delivering.

I've been thinking the same thing. Perhaps a change in management would be helpful, at this point.

When your leader looks like a deer in the headlights all the time, he's either on some serious drugs, or he's part zombie by birth.

The same is true for many of these founders. They simply have no verbal skill sets.

I think it’s the Kiss of Death if the price falls below the ICO price, but I’m sure that’s the price many new Buyer’s might speculate.

How to pay all those people? Oh wait, people will work for almost nothing in Russia.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CREDITS - New Blockchain for financial industry [OFFICIAL THREAD] on: July 19, 2018, 06:16:43 PM
It's difficult to compare projects in a bear market, but my biggest fear is, Credits is currently unable or unwilling to communicate with the English speaking world, which is severely limiting the greed factor. Investors are left wondering why the visual marketing is so good, while the verbal marketing is so poor. There's a disconnect in how important verbal communication is.

Without better English speaking marketers, this project will have a hard time moving beyond the shillers in the space.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CREDITS - New Blockchain for financial industry [OFFICIAL THREAD] on: July 18, 2018, 08:41:49 PM
Credits has fluctuated between about 176 in ranking on CoinmarketCap a couple of days ago, to about 196 today. The fluctuation would appear to be due to the prerelease of the MainNet.

While I think patience is important, I'm not planning to hold Credits if it drops below 200 in ranking, since this would represent a clear abandonment by the community at large, relative to other projects that appear to have more promise.

The market is not likely to be wrong, when it comes to its collective mindset. If Credits drops below, then rises above 200 again, I'll consider reinvesting.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CREDITS INFOGRAPHICS CONTEST on: June 26, 2018, 06:43:34 PM
Much better job on the updates.

One thing I'm curious about, is once the main network is launched, what happens to the current ERC20 tokens, and how long will the exchange process take?  What will be the number of Credits on the network, or will it be fixed?  Will there be an exchange rate for current holders?

Interesting that no one seems to have an answer here, to this. I'm wondering if it will be similar to other transitions from ERC20, such as EOS, which many people are apparently complaining about.

We need something that works better than Bitcoin to make simple transactions worldwide.

For anyone who needs or uses Bitcoin to transact any business, waiting for confirmation is a frustrating operation.  Whomever can solve this problem, will rule the world.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CREDITS - New Blockchain for financial industry [OFFICIAL THREAD] on: June 14, 2018, 03:00:28 AM
The position of Credit$ in the overall market cap ranking is about the same as it was before the recent correction. This tells me that the selling we are seeing is across the entire space, not in Credit$ per se.

People are dumping altcoins, but all it takes is another spark to send speculators running back to the racetrack, and what many people don't know is that much of the speculation in the altcoin markets are pure gambling plays by Asia.

This is a swing trader's paradise, if you're a buyer at these levels.  You might have to wait a handful of weeks to turn a nice profit, but it's sure to exceed all traditional asset classes.

Fear is your your friend .... especially in this volatile space.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CREDITS - New Blockchain for financial industry [OFFICIAL THREAD] on: June 10, 2018, 06:42:30 PM

Credits is basically a scamware, made by Russians.

Think it is awful, that the team has so many different parts of their project lacking...

We have all the right to be suspicious.

I watched the recent test of Credit$ network, and I admit that it looked a bit like a staged performance. However, most of these projects aren't even attempting to show anything going on, behind the scenes. So which would you prefer, a cheesy, homemade video of apparent progress being made, or zero feedback?

I actually get the same feeling when I read and hear about the progress that EOS or Ethereum are making, except that these have taken in billions in investors money, without showing much of anything new, either. My crypokitties are essentially worthless, and incapable of breeding on their own without a major cash infusion .... which is about as insane as it gets.

Bitcoin, and the lightning network, where is that, and what can it do for me now?

Nothing seems to move fast enough for the average investor, and nothing is going to improve the value of Credit$, until the prototype is launched and demonstrated to be capable of handling scale.

I'll say it again, I think most of the recent selling in Credits and many of the altcoins is in preparation for the possibility of a failure of the summit in Singapore, between Trump and Kim Jung Un.

This is likely a flight to safety issue.  If Donald Trump walks out of the meeting, then we could see a further sell off, whereas if he doesn't, then I think a dramatic recovery across the board should occur.

People forget, most of the holders of these coins are in Asia, and it is Asia that will suffer the most in the event of a war on the Korean peninsula.

Apparently Trump, or at least his Vice President, think that President Trump is the equivalent of Winston Churchill in WWII. “As President Trump said this week, he approaches the summit with confidence. The truth is, he’s been preparing for this his whole life ...." - Newsweek 6/10/18 at 7:01 AM -

Back to 5k satoshis? Well, I couldn't find any related news about this sudden big drop in price. Anyone have any clue about this?
It's weird that it keeps on dropping while moving toward the official launch of the project.

It could be an early hint that the chances of peace on the Korean Peninsula are slim to none. The Russians and perhaps even the Chinese oligarch's have more inside knowledge of military prospects than western investors, I imagine.

This is just a guess, but a war in Korea would be devastating to all of Asia, and Credits is not a reserve currency.

If we see a real peace treaty in Korea, with a solid plan for denuclearization, I expect Credit$ could rebound back to 0.70, but for now, a flight to safety by most investors is expected.

The bet is on China to come to its senses, which is not a bad wager in my book.

So how is the closed private beta testing going on. Is there any feedback from the beta testers? What is the status of the okex listing. When they are going to list CS?

I know nothing, I see nothing, I say nothing ..... and wonder this myself.  Then again, this is always a secret thing, when it happens, so ....
