21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][URO] A Real Long Term Currency: 1 Uro = 1 Metric Tonne Urea Fertilizer on: June 10, 2014, 04:11:06 AM
Haha, this still has way more going for it than against it. One of those sites is new but the others aren't, and the archived site from 2012 has relevant info on it. I'm not getting my hopes up, but so far the "scam" panic is mostly unsubstantiated.

I got some under 50k, I've made 200% on the original investment and letting the rest ride if they do go to the proposed price. If not then well played, its intricate enough to deserve it haha.

It seems to good to be true, but if you said to someone in 2009 someone would pay $1m for the 1000 virtual coins they mined they would have said the same thing...

I think we all want some kind of video conference or at least further proof that these companies are linked with urea trade though

Also are we to assume that 1mil coins is sufficient for the urea market to sustain? Are there only ever 1mil MT urea in circulation?
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][URO] Long Term Currency Backed by Millions of Tonnes of Urea Fertilizer on: June 09, 2014, 01:19:07 PM

Made an exit at 18k, like I wrote earlier it was about to get messy ..

Bounce around 14-15k perhaps. It'll need steam though!

Buy support is thinning, sell walls getting bigger.

Risky business right now.

seriously what happened to fluttercoin? i have a few million and i just don't understand the low price.

Value is the importance, and it didn't really bring anything of value. Multipool was just riding on BC success, BC tanking killed multipool confidence.

PoT is a cute concept but economically it isn't sound nor sustainable. All the coin ended up being was twitter traders with their fingers crossed hoping for the next ten bagger hyping it up.

I gave a blow by blow on my twitter as it happened lol

Started mining this little gem from day one. Have amassed quite a stash through trading these also.
Not here to boast though. hehe
Just to say well done the launch and website of this coin was impossible to ignore. (unlike say ohh greececoin lol)
Onwards and Upwards
 Cool

Just don't make any wild predictions for this one Wink your FLT prediction was almost right, you just put the zero AFTER the 3 instead of before.

Good to see you're on a coin of actual value! I see at least another 20%

Massive buy support forming, along with green candles Cheesy they got bored with the BC pump it seems.

IE you have unleashed a monster here, crazy

Support looks good for XLB right now but that can change, volume mostly over to BC for now so don't expect a rise too soon.

People want quick riches, but overnight rises are usually accompanied by overnight dumps. Steady growth is key

Most of that 1k volume was done in the last 12h too. Impressive.

The big sell walls came down quite quick, order books looking very healthy! Interested to see how high these will go now...
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scrypt is dying in preparation for incoming ASICs on: May 23, 2014, 06:11:10 AM
That isn't true.

There was ixcoin, I consider LTC the first true alternative because of different algo
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MRY] Murraycoin ▪ The Only Currency Worthy of the Name ▪ Info & Discussion on: May 23, 2014, 05:20:16 AM
So, think this coin is going to change algo's?  All the scrypt coins are headed straight to the bottom.

Good question. If the algo were to be changed, now would be the best time to do it since MRY hasn't had tons of exposure yet (and thus there aren't mobile wallets, tons of online casinos, etc. that would need to update their code).

Market is changing, all scrypt coins are dying because of incoming ASICs. Scrypt was created as an answer to ASICs, why use it instead of SHA-256 if there's no difference?

MRY could definitely benefit from innovation.

Drawing a trend from a bunch of coins valued in the tens (or single) millions is dubious.   I have never been a fan of Litecoin but it does have the distinction of being the only crypto currency other than Bitcoin to have a money supply measured in hundreds of millions of dollars.

For now  Wink LTC had a distinct advamtage; being first.
