Hello All, After further examination outside in sunlight/magnify...I noticed a crease on the PSA 2, on the front side. So maybe a Grade 2 is warranted after all...   We should all fire PSA and start our own grading company? Who's in? I just got this back! I would have graded it a 9 probably. Crisp corners. PSA is literally drunk grading these. I see a score of psa 2 when you go to the 2018 allen and ginter psa population. You don't show that. yes. that card must be beat up for sure. i started scale where it shows. took some time to get in that format. maybe i'll just do pictures next time. |

I don't care. They represented incompetence from my point of view. I'm starting my own Card Grading "SERVICE"! Ha! PSA is a basement operation at best, propped up by Beckett and the other publications. Humans! At least it's "Authenticated"......but seriously!!!!! Give them a call, ask them if there were any notes on this card.....I'd wanna know why. Yep, card centering is a little off. But a grade 2 ??!  The Plastic HOLDER, has more dings, scratches, blemishes...than THE ACTUAL CARD!! Go figure, PSA collectors. A goldie got a &^@#& 2  You should call them, give them the cert number, and ask the if the grader was drinking his own bath water. |

You have guessed wrong! FUD Fukers... Is there a risk of the ink fading over time or the coin becoming generally unusable due to decay? That's my biggest concern when considering buying or selling a coin. Is there any information out there that speaks to the general expected longevity of a casascius coin? What if we hold out on selling a coin only to learn that the BTC on it is no longer accessible which torpedoes the actual total value?
I’m just guessing but I’d be pretty sure that some sort of scanning electron microscope will always be able to read the private key even if it’s not visible to the naked eye. |
