BAN must be doing something right because there are quite a few non-mining or 24 hour paranoid "gotcha" cleptics coming out of the woodwork!

Wow, now a impetuous 13yr old nit is calling me noob and claiming a Perry Mason proof! I bet he wants to be president someday.
22  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: mining.BitcoinAffiliatenetwork.com - we're giving away 1 Antminer S3 every day! on: August 25, 2014, 08:51:03 PM
After looking at it they are very crafty at ban by gaining minutes on rewards per hour
Let me explain!!!!!

So how they do it is this......for example first hourly payout at 1am, then next pay out 2.20am, next 3.40am.....you see that we think we are being payed hourly as we only see 2am, 3am......but it's always 20 minutes late each time meaning we lose 4 hours per day......yep meaning we lose 4 payouts per 24 hours So I pointed this out & all he'll let loose on me...got chucked of chat & thephwner emailed me asking what my problem was.......ban pool is a scam..thephwner and minerftw is now on pay roll for s0ber they told me.

got a msg from a friend, not sure it's true or not just posting on behalf.

and got a reply :

[04:16] <@ThePhwner> but not to keep ranting for 3 days about how you're leaving?
[04:17] <@ThePhwner> Darlin' you got to let me know
[04:17] <@ThePhwner> Should I stay or should I go?
[04:17] <@ThePhwner> If you say that you are mine
[04:17] <@ThePhwner> I'll be here 'til the end of time
[04:17] <@ThePhwner> So you got to let me know
[04:17] <@ThePhwner> Should I stay or should I go?

wonderful . . .

last payment records . . . 22 payments  . . .not too sure again i could be wrong but looked at it after receiving the above message from my friend . . .

What you say in your first paragraph is true. Most 24 hour periods lack a payment or two. Agreed.

But here is where you go wrong, pay attention now, it's not for the faint of heart!

Sum 5 days or 7 days you choose, but not 24 hrs. Compare your actual yield (don't forget the 12.5% bonus) to your "non-BAN" any other pool or calculator and the numbers don't lie. BAN pays more.

So the real issue is... you don't like getting 23 payments when you are expecting 24- even if you ARE making more. Did I hit a chord?

Wise, seasoned, cough, uhh...visionaries with checklists... check

Come on guys, I'm older and more seasoned than most (warning Will Robinson) does that give you wise ones a clue?

Anyway, if you don't want to mine here, fine. If you get funny feelings here, fine- no one is holding a gun to your head.

If you ARE mining here and have questions, PM admin or email support. If you have a group question or experience of relevance to share- here is the place.

Other than that, with all do respect to those of your stature, start a Boo-Hiss BAN thread elsewhere and stop clogging up THIS thread with your visionary prowess. (like this message, for instance)

See ya, don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Rant over, I feel better now. Tongue

I LOVE the Dashboard page! I'm mining with ~6.5-7.0 Th but the Worker Information box shows me as mining with 1.3 Petahash.  Grin

Now if I can just get the payouts to match the hashing...

Thanks sObr. Good night. Goodnight Johnboy.

It's very quiet here- is everyone getting some back payments? I have received another- 2 in the past 23 hrs. Now only 5 hrs behind by rough calcs.
I have to be careful though cause I'm not sObr; seeing 2 decimal points! Tongue

Have been paid a lump sum that brings me up to 1300 hrs EST on 8/22/14. Current time here is 21:45 EST. I think the wandering Sage has returned.  Grin

EDIT: Long day, up to 11:00 hrs EST. Now only behind 10 hrs

sObr has come through repeatedly, granted I don't like his prolonged absence either. However, unless you wield a 10+Th system, worrying over 14-16 hours lost mining = Paranoid = put things in perspective. Well, 100s of pennies to be precise.

Aside from those crying foul, I don't see over reacting but caution and a cry for clarification. What is wrong with that? One can support the pool and still be cautious.

Also: I never had a log on problem- the site works fine for me.

As much as I talk to s0br on a regular basis, he goes on sleep deprivation binges.  He's more than likely asleep, he's online, but not responding.

That being said, I have multiple things going with him presently and him being away for less than 24 hours is not a huge concern for me.  Stop spreading FUD amongst the thread as it's doing absolutely nothing.  If you don't feel comfortable, then bail.  There's no reason to throw him under the bus when it's not even been a full 24 hours... I was in contact with him a mere 12 hours ago, and I went to sleep and he was still up.  So logically, knowing that he hasn't slept in a few days -- The body probably shut him down.

Just chill.
It has happen a couple of times now that his body crashes from lack of sleep. I just wish this time as the forehead went down and hit the keyboard it hit the payout button instead of the stop button! Smiley

I don't think he literally means this.  I do know he's working on code for the pool, which will be beneficial.  It may not be finished and he was never able to finish it thus causing the problem that is currently present.  I'm in no position to explain, other than I can tell you that it's beneficial to everyone involved and as much time and effort and his OWN money he has spent, there's absolutely no reason to be running.  If you can't handle a little risk, you simply need to walk away from crypto-currency all-together and go dig a hole and hide your fiat in a mason jar and hope it's worth a damn in 10 years.

Not pointing fingers at anyone, I'm simply stating the obvious and just being real.

If someone does not agree with your risk/reward analysis we should get out of crypto and hide fiat in a mason jar.

Hmm. Astute analysis and well thought out. Covers all the aspects of crypto-mining and decision making regarding risk analysis.

I'm not trying to add to the uncertainty but... based on my review I am missing a single hourly payment toward the 24:00/00:00 hours mark for August the 15, 16, 17. Depending on from which direction you count it may show differently to you but toward the midnight hour the hourly times start to drift to the point I am unsure which hour the payment is for- but a hourly payment is almost certainly skipped for those 3 days.

Additionally, I am confirming, beginning ~20 hours ago, an 8 hour decreasing slide in hourly payments ending with the last payment I have seen which was a ~1/3 reduction in value from previous pre-slide payments.

Anyone care to confirm, add, or dispute? Huh

EDIT: 7.4TH Bugging Out - Hoping to return with an apology or a scalp. The former is wildly preferred.

The last time I worked this long on a block this long, in conjunction my being unable to withdraw any earnings, the pool folded up shop and jumped the border with everyone's earnings. Just out of curiosity, is there a maximum size that a block can be? I mean, this can not go on for ever, right? Undecided

Edit: Not this time though- finally got it!
