21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do when you are over 50% lose on your trades? on: January 24, 2018, 04:54:59 PM
You log off your PC, and enjoy your life without crypto.

Seriously.

Maybe check CMC once a week and you will eventually be in the green - it could take a week or a year.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ledger Nano S. and Wallets question. on: January 24, 2018, 04:53:01 PM
I'm thinking about getting a Nano Ledger s.  At this time all my coins are in Coinbase or Binance and I don't have wallets for them.  Do I need to create wallets for each of my coins first then transfer to Ledger nano or can I just transfer straight from Exchanges to Ledger Nano.

Be careful as ledger Nano S does NOT support a lot of coins that you will have if you trade through Binance.
23  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Compare exchange price differential in real time on: January 24, 2018, 04:11:35 PM
What you are talking about is called arbitrage. There are several people who use scripts for it, they have bots that compare prices between the various exchanges and make the right trades when the price difference between exchanges is worth it. I can't tell you where you can get those scripts, probably many script sellers will just try to scam you...

Thanks for the reply. Certainly a gap in the market for something like this.
24  Economy / Trading Discussion / Compare exchange price differential in real time on: January 24, 2018, 04:06:37 PM
Is there a website or application which compares price differences across exchanges in real time?

For example 2 weeks ago we saw BCD hundreds of dollars higher on Bittrex or Kucoin (not sure which exchange it was) than it was on Binance leading to a massive increase in price over a day or so on Binance. Could have easily made some quick bucks if you were one of the first to realise.

So does anyone know of anything like this?
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Trading fees problems with EOS + BNT on: January 24, 2018, 03:55:40 PM
I purchased 1 EOS and 1 BNT. After the exchange took their % Commission I have about 0.98 of each but cant sell them back as they dont accept decimal point sales for these 2 coins (Cant sell 0.98 of EOS/BNT). And xferring them out costs 0.8 EOS.

Lol, waste of money or is there something I can do?
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [WTC] WaltonChain Will Explode this year on: January 24, 2018, 02:51:04 PM
Holding since $3, great future ahead of the coin. Can't wait to turn my profits in!

Sell during this hype - bound to reduce in price after.
27  Economy / Marketplace / Re: The most stable coin" USDT" ,have the possibility of collapse?? on: January 24, 2018, 01:22:25 PM
How can't it collapse? Won't they just print more USDT?

The sooner the better if you plan to HODL it doesnt matter anyways.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What stage of adoption is Crypto currently at? on: January 24, 2018, 11:40:58 AM
Very early adoption - half of the alctoins with high market caps have absolute NO product. Think about that for a moment!
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH v NEO on: January 24, 2018, 11:04:19 AM
I think NEO will be better in future, but there is no doubt decentralisation issues within their platform.

I think the main reason ETH is higher now, is honestly just because its been out longer, and they obviously have more dApps
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / ETH v NEO on: January 24, 2018, 10:55:31 AM
Which do you think is better and why?
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a virtual money on: January 24, 2018, 10:44:19 AM
But.. it is virtual currency.. is it not? Huh
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum? on: January 23, 2018, 02:41:12 PM
If Bitcoin wasn't the first coin - Ethereum would be 20x the Bitcoin price. Facts. Eth is spearheaded by an absolute genuis too!
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [EPO]EPOS Coin ICO - NEW TRADING LENDING PLATFORM beginning 2018! on: January 22, 2018, 02:52:06 PM
Who's the team behind this?

Also cant take it seriously when the title says;

Don´t pass it. It´s your chance to make a change!
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: You Hodling strategy on: January 19, 2018, 10:31:04 AM
The best way in my opinion to do this would be to follow the strategy of going 50% in Bitcoin/Ethereum, 25% in big caps (5B+) and 25% in low caps (50/25/25). It doesn’t matter if you have $100, $1,000 or $10,000 - this strategy has been proven to be very useful in building the value of your portfolio.

In a bearish market when the market is dipping/crashing like it has this week losses are reduced. Historically, Bitcoin + Ethereum fall way slower than medium and low cap alts and hold most of their value. This week we have seen low cap alts lose over half of their value..

Bitcoin in the same time frame went down massively, but it has not halved in value. Using this method you would have reduced losses this week. Big caps (5b+) have again lost huge value - but not as much as low caps and a bit more than Bitcoin/Ethereum.In a Bull market using the 50/25/25 rule you will still see massive gains with your coins - but this way you are reducing the losses when the dips come.
36  Other / Off-topic / Re: HOW BE SPOT A GOOD ICO on: January 19, 2018, 10:18:52 AM
Generally, if a project doesn't have a good team then I'm not interested.

However, if there social media account is managed correctly; and by correctly I mean it is a) active and b) shows active company engagement then I would be willing to take a chance and invest.

Team and social media at this stage is key to a successful rise in the coin/token price - which, lets be honest - is what we all want to see.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Comparison sites? on: January 19, 2018, 10:10:59 AM
Certainly a gap in the market for something like this. Would provide much needed support for newer people that want to invest in the crypto-currency world.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice on my portfolio for 2018, too many coins! on: January 18, 2018, 09:56:45 AM
You have 4k BTC and 250 XLM, whats the point in the XLM lol? Am I reading this the wrong way
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Comparison sites? on: January 18, 2018, 09:50:05 AM
Hi,

Is there any site which compares similar coins/tokens?

For example, there are many competitors which offer a similar product/service such as ones trying to revolutionise block-chain tech (NULS, NEO, QTUM), others trying to build a DEX platform, others concentrating on revolutionising music etc...

Thanks for any help Smiley, I think it would help me decide what to invest in as I'm quite new to crypto. Grin
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Help to start mining on: January 10, 2018, 05:03:25 PM
I am not tech savvy, I have a Mac. I have a few thousand ££££ to spend. Please advise me on what to buy and what to do. I really would appreciate it. Electricity is not an issue and I would like to mine something relatively cheap to accumulate quite a large amount. I'd also prefer to do it on my own as opposed to join a group or something like that.

Thank you for any tips.
