21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Tesla K80 mining [Linux] ccminer? on: February 15, 2018, 04:54:25 PM
Hi guys,

Any one out there was successful for GPU mining under Linux with Tesla K80 cards? I installed NVIDIA drivers and CUDA toolkit and compiled ccminer from source but when I try to launch the miner on any algorithm I always get error messages like;

for neoscrypt algo: Cuda error in func 'neoscrypt_init' at line 1482 : invalid device symbol.

Some others algos: no kernel image is available for execution on the device

I've downloaded the latest drivers and the latest CUDA Toolkit version (9.1).

I tested it under Tesla M60 and all worked well, only having issue with the Tesla K80.

Any help would be very appreciated.

Hehe ETH 200 ? I believe we won't see this happening any time soon...
24  Economy / Computer hardware / GPUs price going down... when? on: February 09, 2018, 01:54:40 PM
Hi guys,

When you think the GPU prices will start to drop a little? mid summer? Just curious to know if we should keep buying those GPUs at current prices or wait for later.

Thanks.

28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Which sources for maximum profit with alt coins on: February 03, 2018, 06:31:36 PM
Hi guys,

I was wondering which sources are good for looking up which alt coins are best to mine for maximum profit?

Right now I'm using https://www.crypto-coinz.net/crypto-calculator/ to see which alt coin is best to mine. Just wondering if there would be other sources (please don't say whattomine)

Thanks.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tradesatoshi.com - CryptoCurrency Exchange on: February 01, 2018, 06:44:57 PM
I'm a little bit concerned about this Exchange; the current issue I'm having is that the current coin i am mining (Dinero (DNC)) can only be exchanged on TradeSatoshi... Should I wait for Dinero to be listed on others Exchange platforms or take a chance and transfer my dineros on tradesatoshi and then cry here that I lost all my dineros?

Thanks.

What is the best pool yet for mining Dinero? I am currently using ArcPool but i don't seem to receive the right amount (my hashrate is stable at 4 MH/s so I should get around 20 Dineros/24 hrs but for some reasons I am receiving maybe half of it...

do you quickly get paid?
I would say every hour

32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Upgrading my nining from 4 GPUs (all GTX 1070) on: January 31, 2018, 11:34:10 PM
Hi all,

what you guys think would be best; mining rig with mixed GPUs (GTX 1070 + GTX 1080 Ti) or would be more simple to run without issues (drivers conflicts etc) with only 1 model of GPU (all GTX 1070). I am looking to buy 8 new GPUs for my mining rig which would make me a mining rig of 12 GPUs running on Win10 x64.

Any suggestions would be very appreciated.

Thanks.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / GTX 1070 error code 43 [Windows 10 x64] on: January 31, 2018, 12:40:50 AM
Hi guys,

I just received my GTX 1070 card and I've installed the latest drivers running on Windows 10 x64. I got error code 43 in Control Panel;

I then tried to remove all the drivers in safe mode via DDU (Display Drivers Uninstaller)
restart in normal mode
install another older version of the drivers

same problem came back.

Any one has experienced that issue before and have a solution?

Help would be very appreciated.

Thanks

anyone knows why all PNY GTX 1080 Ti GPUs costs less then all other GTX 1080 Ti (MSI, ASUS, etc..) ? does they give approx the same hashrate?

I guess PNY brand is not as popular. In states at least. I had a couple of reference blowers and they delivered same hashrate as a regular founders edition blower.
Awesome, thanks. I will go with those PNY  Grin

Thanks all for your recommendations. Any tips on where to find those golden precious GTX 1080 Ti GPUs?
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alibaba and those GPUs on: January 29, 2018, 08:06:01 AM
I was browsing on Alibaba tonight when I saw some ridiculous price like 180-210 USD$ for some GTX 1080 Ti cards, what gets me worried is that some of them have the Gold Supplier status wtf? Any of you guys had good experience on buying some GPUs on Alibaba?

It could be a good way to get our hands on some GPUs but ofc don't buy those with a ridiculous price since they are scams 100%...

Thanks.

Alibaba is notorious for being a platform for mining hardware scams. I wouldn't even consider the cards listed on Alibaba at "current" prices. (The <<MSRP listings are definite scams, but also consider why a scammer wouldn't price a card normally and make more money, without drawing so much attention with an obviously "too good to be true" price.)
I was asking around on IRC about some reviews with Alibaba and GPUs and it seems it isn't a good idea to buy over there... So hard to find those GTX 1080 Ti ! If any users here would be nice enough to share some tips on how to find them without paying 2x or 3x times the price, would be really nice to know Wink

Thanks.

Hi I just want to start mining altcoin. so look for reffrence miners who have started doing so.
in the photo is the total how much money you spend? and how many results can you get in 1 day or 1 week or 1 month? are you will running your mining rig 24/7 and what coins are you planning to seriously start mining? sorry for asking im a bit curious how miner can get roi with their investment as mining rig.
I Spent around 3500$ (GPUs not arrived yet, waiting for my 4 GTX 1070). I should be earning around 13-14$/day with this. Since this is not enough I think, I will soon add more GPUs to the rig for sure. Yes I will be running the rig 24/7 and right now I plan to mine something in the Equihash family, maybe zencash, zcash or zclassic not sure yet.

Don't hesitate to ask my friend ;-)
