Kerim (Bitmine AG)

Mar 31 10:44

Dear Mr. dplusf,

CoinCraft Rig will go into production shortly, within a couple of days hopefully. Expect a video demonstration on our youtube channel and website shortly. When CoinCraft Rig will be in production we will have more accurate informations about your orders delivery time. We thank you for your patience so far.

Best regards,

Bitmine AG, Bitmine.ch

Two weeks™ are also a couple of days.
Fact is my order is two months overdue and they dont have a clue when it will be delivered.
And so i am. I dont have a clue what to do now? What fucks me up is if i ask for a refund it will be another 30 days with nothing. and because i invested 70% from my budget into bitmine i cannot react and order in the meantime from other vendors. bang bitmine really hit me hard.

so what about you guys?

I will be able to ask for a refund in 8 days, and i will ask for at refund the same day.. The miners is not worth the time any more.. I will reinvest my money in stocks as the bitcoin market is poor for the time being.

what about turbo mode?
25  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 12, 2014, 10:10:44 AM

response from bitmine:
Dear Mr. xx,
I cannot anticipate you at the moment how much extra hashing power you will receive.
Those calculations will be done the last day before your order start ship.
Doing that now, even if it was possible,I would only be answering you with numbers that are inaccurate.
I hope that this is understandable.
The maximum speed that can arrive the turbo mode depends on many factors,
the turbo mode is functionable but I cannot guarantee you the results that you will have or example with the temperature of your ambient or the quality of electricity that has your house/office.

translation:

1.) I don't want to tell you the days your extra hash unit will be added. Nobody said your product is going to be shipped in February, that would be ambitioned.

2.) We will add an Turbo mode but the boards are unable to run on that speed for longer then 10min. You can just use the turbo mode in Antarctica. Neither it will ever reached the advertised turbo hashrate, that would be ambitioned again.

Thanks

for giving us your money

For any further questions we may or may not response to your E-Mails.

Thanks, that is the same way i read it.

Antonio's Response:

"Hi,
the turbo mode function can arrive up to 2.8.
That of course is the speed of the ideal conditions.(temperature, clearance of the electricity signal that is provided to you)

Thanks"

So I would assume that the hardware (once delivered) will function as per the expected hash rates that customers paid for Smiley

That's the answer I got too.

So it's more of an overclocking issue. Ofcourse you can reach the 2.8 TH, but you would have to have really excellent cooling conditions, and perfect current delievering the 3 kW.

Maybe you can use liquid nitrogen to cool or something.  Roll Eyes

Happy to live in Denmark then, outside temps are close to 0, so just need to cut off my heater and put the miner (when it come) in the basement.. free heat Cheesy (or almost.. only 6000$ for a heater xD)

It would have been free heating if it didn't need 3Kw Wink

I do hope that my miner can make more $ pr day than I have to pay for having it running.

I am sure it will Smiley

2.8TH is not exactly little hashing power. It's quite decent.
Considering that I am happy with my Ant, then I am sure you will be happy with your miner.

When do you expect to get it?

The last mail i got from bitmine (jan/31-2014) was saying week number 9, but I have a high order number, so if the not start shipping soon i believe that my miner will be more delayed. I "only" ordered a coin craft desk 1thps as i'm only an apprentice so i didn't have 12k usd to spare.

But if the miner can pay the powerbill and pay me back 6k usd i'm happy as I will spare a lot on heating the house.

Bitmine.ch:
Kindly be informed that for the moment the order #33xx is estimated to be ready for shipment in calender week 09/14.

30  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 01, 2014, 04:21:44 PM
I know there are people waiting on December orders, but my order is classed as "January Week 5". I was told over the phone way back that I would get delivery first week of February.

So that to me says: Jan Week 5 = 27th Jan - 2nd Feb with a 10 day delivery period between 27th Jan and Thursday 6th Feb to get it to me.

Assuming that they spend all the time this weekend getting the December orders fulfilled (quite rightly), then it's unlikely that they will get mine to me by Thursday 6th, so by their own reckoning, they will also send +10% (or in my case an ADDITIONAL Desk Rig with 400GHs installed - smallest next product step up - or is it 200GHs - smallest next possible configuration ? Not very clear...) even if they get mine shipped out before Thursday, as there is no hope of me actually getting it before the 6th.

Am I right?

i think that your order will be delayed as my order for feb week 1 is estimated to week 9 off the year:

Just to know... Supposing you have many euros to invest now, do you prefer to buy mining rigs or directly Dogecoin?

I am going for more mining hardware as i can be sold if maked goes down.. but i think that the profit is bigger on going direct to Dogecoin

So it depens os the risk that you are willing to take. (i am keeping all of my doges for now)

33  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: January 15, 2014, 08:10:32 AM
I hope they will ship as fast as possible.
of course everybody with order of one rig of 500GH would be happy to have 11days delay... i have 3 full rigs ordered and every single day delay is just huge minus.
so i hope they will have my rigs ready as soon as possible!

If you’ve got a full rig, and they’re 11 days late, my understanding is that they will be sending you your rig, plus another rig with (at least) one slot pre-populated.  You’d get (I think) a fourth rig with three cards populated if they were 11 days late.  Running your three with one additional TH/s (turbo mode) on that fourth rig should net you more than the three running 11 days longer.  Depending on which 11 days, of course.

my understanding is:
if you order is on 3 full rigs and the delay is on 11+ then you will get you 3 full rigs + 3 rigs whit 2 slots pre-populated, but the extra units will first be delivered later.

I can be wrong.
34  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: January 14, 2014, 10:30:31 AM
reply from support, I was asking if my order for 2.week of February was delayed:

Dear Sir,
at the moment we are finishing our final testing and tuning of our miners.
Unfortunately I don't have an exact day of shipping for your order.
In the next days that our production will start I will have more information and I will keep you updated.
If I had to make an estimation now ,I would say for 10 to 15 days of later shipping.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

So lets hope that the final testing passes whit out any errors!  Grin

and then i hope that i get an delay on 11days so i get an extra unit Cheesy

Hi

What's the trick for keeping cgminer running on this pool, and not dropping off to the backup pool for 5 min every time we change coin ?

the easy and safe way:
use an old version of cgminer, the new version has 5 min timeout, where the old has like 30s..

EDIT: i forgot to read you whole post -.-

.. try and old version of cgminer.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Pool][Profit-Switch][Optional Auto-Exchange per Coin][Vardiff] ~ Hashcows on: January 10, 2014, 11:34:36 AM
After mining with 2MH/s for 35 hours, my "current balance" is 0.00933682. Are you kidding? I would get way more just mining any altcoin.
And no payout yet either.

give it some time, they are working as fast as they can to fix the pool.  Wink

What's with all the red rounds admins? That's a lot of wasted work.

i think it dude to all the canges they are making, give them some time. Just have a backup for the time being so that your mininer don't go to idl.

Any other than me that are using you mining rigs for other stuff? I use mine for DLNA streaming, and a minecraft server. (i do not cpu mine.)

I did not ether got any payout today (for yesterdays work) i know that i'm only mining with a 1.5mhps but i shoud a least have 0,08 or more for one days work? o.O maby the payout hangs?

maby they are wating with payout until the new site is up?  Cool

hope that alcoins soon are getting back on btc so the eanings will be better Smiley but i just hit rio after the btc rice, so as long i get more $ that i use in power i'm happy Cool

Its more like .012 for 1.5Mhs theese days, If You´re lucky. Alts drop like on autumn 13, mostly because the faith in them is fading badly even in me (every day few crapcoins are added - would You believe that there is even Nicolas Cage Coin? WTF??!)

you are right i forgot a 0, i expect at least 0.008 pr day, atm.

But i make sence if the payout was hold back.  Smiley

Yea i dont think that all these new alt-coins is good for the network, but lets hope that some off the alt-coins will survive the wipeout that wee are seeing now, so that wee can keep using GPU mining for a while.
