22  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How long have you been mining & what is your current hash rate? (+ bonus Q's) on: December 10, 2013, 09:18:01 PM
mined years ago using cpu/gpu and recently got back into it.

Originally I used Red Fury's and then upgraded to some Block Erupter blades.

I am currently doing approx 21 gh/s.

I have 1 X-1 on order....not much ROI with nextgen ASIC equipment so not really investing any $$$ in mining at the moment.
23  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 487GH for $10/GH Good deal? on: December 10, 2013, 06:09:42 PM
thats 10.7 gh/s not 107 gh/s for the Blade v2

it would be a good if you had it in your hands now, as of march it won't be that profitable unless bitcoin prices go high. if you are looking to make money, just buy some btc and sit on it for a year.
26  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Black arrow prospero x-3 odds of delivering in time? on: December 06, 2013, 12:22:39 AM
you can buy a single x-1 through minersource.net

condensation is bad for computers, avoid placing equipment outside. Perhaps consider doing watercooling which will avoid all the loud noise as well as provide an excellent cooling solution.

What is your goal? Are you looking to make a profit? If so your current approach won't work unless you want to invest in expensive ASIC equipment. If you are doing this for a hobby and just want to support the bitcoin community than yes using your GPU and some ASIC usb miners would be perfectly fine. Don't expect to make your money back.
