Updated with kitten for cat and Rohypnol for LTC.
The second is mentioned in the wikipedia so it's ok.
For both catcoin and diamondcoin I'll wait for a few more votes or suggestions.

For Dogecoin, I suggest "kabosu".  This is the name of the Doge that started the meme.

laughingsquid.com/the-story-of-kabosu-the-shiba-inu-behind-the-doge-meme/

This is one is nice. I'll added to the "list"

SatoRonPaul?
That sounds so bad....

I would really like to see some creativity in this forum , not just cloning
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / List of alts denominations on: January 08, 2014, 03:10:18 AM
Hello,

As many of you know:

The "satoshi"  is the smallest denomination currently possible for BTC
0.000 000 01 BTC = 1 satoshi (pronounced sa-toh-shee)
It was named so in honour of Satoshi Nakamoto, the pseudonym of the inventor of Bitcoin

Now , many of the alts have cloned the bitcoin protocol , and changed the name from bitcoin to customname coin. But , some of the creators probably never thought of giving the smallest denominations of their coin also a name.

So , how about we make a list for this?

28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NSA, CIA, FBI took control of Bitcoin on: December 17, 2013, 06:51:32 AM
When FBI sized SilkRoad, they seized also 174 000 bitcoins. Today 1 BTC is about 560 euro, so, we can imagine how much money FBI will profit from selling bitcoins.

Incorrect.
The address contains 144,341.52115741 which is around 100 millions at today price.
By comparison:
In the fiscal year 2012, the bureau's total budget was approximately $8.12 billion that is play money for them
29  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2013-12-16] China’s Statement on Bitcoin is Open to Interpretation on: December 17, 2013, 06:46:02 AM
I think it is time to end with the China hype.
Bitcoin was used there mostly for speculation and day trading with the 0.0% fees and this isn't the purpose for which it was design.
It can crash back to 200 or 50 but if it gets used daily and for real transactions we can have a normal and natural healthy increase in value and use.
30  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Gambling with bitcoins underage on: December 17, 2013, 06:42:22 AM
It depends where are you from. Each country has different legislation and people use different tactics to avoid this.
For example:
Pachinko games in Japan since gambling for cash is illegal in Japan. The balls you won cannot be exchanged directly for money so you get tokens or prizes, which you can then exchange for cash at a place nominally separate from the parlor.
Quite the scheme.
In other countries this won't work at all. And in others you'll get the money directly without this mess.
31  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin legality across the globe on: December 17, 2013, 06:37:11 AM
Well almost all the superpower countries are taken a negative stance against bitcoins mostly cause alot of people use them to buy drugs

What do you see negative about the data in the firsts posts?
By the same reasoning you could say that those countries have a negative stance about cars cause they limit the speed to 60kmh in cities or they require you to have a driver license.
32  Economy / Gambling / Re: earn free bitcoin with martingale technique on: December 17, 2013, 06:31:49 AM
There is no way Martingale can ever work.
6 times? You based your strategy with only 6 loses in a row?

There are plenty of people here who have seen just happening 15 times or even more.
It's insane to even think about it.
33  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will bitcoin reach $10,000 one day...? on: December 17, 2013, 06:28:17 AM
Well buddy maybe if btc survives until that happens cause btc is mostly know for the online drug market and the feds hate that

Btc was known for the drug market.
The public currently believes that SR was closed down , they don't have a clue SR2 is online , and the recent news have directed the attention to other things.
Buying a car with BTC , lots of services accepting BTC so you can almost survive with BTC only in some cities and much more.
34  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Negative Balance?? on: December 17, 2013, 06:21:33 AM
I've been arbing for a couple months now and it has been quite successful.  Problem is sending the money around the globe via wires.
If only we didn't need banks permission to send our money where we want it to go Sad

Its all talk. People claiming they are arbing and making money. What are we talking here?
I'm doing between 5% and 50% per day, however because of the bank and their rules everything has come to a halt until the issues get resolved.  Apparently sending thousands of dollars a week internationally is not allowed by an individual.
I think the "secret" is live in a small country that has a brand new exchange(s) and get in early.  I've already said too much here now.
Peace.

I see this post all reply, but i don't  the Negative Balance exist or not on mtgox.com & bitstamp & lakebtc.com?

Negative balances are because of glitches in the blockchain.info reports.
It happened before and it will happen again unless they fix that but nothing to be alarmed of.
35  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Market Capitalization is a bad Metric for Bitcoin on: December 16, 2013, 05:05:26 PM
Mother nature has taken care of that.
That's why we have silver, gold , platinum and diamonds.
And you can't really tell that gold is better than silver. You have to compare a quantity or the properties and gold isn't winning every time.

Yes, silver is a better conductor than gold. Actually, it is the best conductor out there (at normal conditions). But this doesn't affect their prices/price ratio to a significant degree. That is what important here, so not all properties are worth considering in the first place...

Tell me how you compare the price of gold and that of diamonds please , with the price of bitcoin if you would like to expand it:)
What I was pointing out was that you can't say gold is better than silver. Also you can't say we can't invent a compound better than gold.
36  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 16, 2013, 05:02:00 PM
I'm starting to wonder if the USD exchanges are beginning to tell China to screw off.  The Chinese can panic and do whatever they want but we're not going to jump off of a cliff just because they choose to.  The interplay between the Chinese and USD exchanges will be an interesting one to follow the next few days I think.

I've been waiting for this moment for quite a while.
China that , China this , let's see the truth behind those trading volumes.
Also China was all about speculation , not real use and that isn't the right path in my opinion.
37  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-12-16 Bitcoins in Space: Hacker to Fire Digital Currency Into Orbit on: December 16, 2013, 04:37:40 PM

38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Breaking News- BTC China on: December 16, 2013, 04:33:16 PM
It's not breaking news anymore , it has already been posted  allover the board.
But , let's see the real volume now , of the mighty chinese traders Smiley.
39  Other / Meta / Re: Alternate crypto is huge on: December 16, 2013, 04:30:51 PM
They are fine like that.
Also alt coins should develop their own communities if they want to get rid of the clone status.
If they are unable to do that and still rely on bitcointalk to lure people into their schemes , then they don't deserve anything better than this.
40  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Alt-Coins on: December 16, 2013, 04:26:18 PM
what is the easiest coin to mine that would make it worthwhile to then converting it to BTC?

Thanks!
