That not how it works buddy that's called pre mining, very very bad.

Geezz you sound like an apprentice mechanic saying he's gonna build the next Nascar race engine, then asking what a con rod is? and then asking whether to use wood or metal.

or could just be a huge Troll, lol

Can someone please pretend you are explaining this shit to your grandparents so I can understand

I am not a computer person And everyone keeps explaining mining like I know what this shit is

Ya best option is to make a mold for your coin, then melt down some lead pour it in and make some necklaces.

Slowly getting some where, I'm currently just running 2 cards a MSI Twin Frozr 7950 and a 7850 with another 7950 on the way, Ive been playing with voltages mem clocks thread concurrency etc, only to get about 540kh out of the 7950 , but now got it to 640kh and on 1.1v.
With the 7850and 7950 minng about 935kh havent tried tweaking the 7850 card since its my display card.

Ok heres my settings if anyones interested -

I use Sapphire Trixx for setting GPU speed and volts to -
7950
1017 gpu clock
1500 mem clock
1100 vddc
stable no rejects at 74c

7850
900
911
1032
stable at 69c

And running this batch file -
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
D:\Downloads\cgminer372\cgminer.exe  --scrypt -o http://gld.cryptcoins.net:5533 -u xrturbs.1 -p 1 -o http://ltc.give-me-coins.com:3333 -u xrturbs.1 -p 1 -I 20,16 --thread-concurrency 24000,17000 --lookup-gap 2 -w 256 --gpu-powertune 20

It's a start, got the third card on the way and another psu, looking at aluminium frame and pci-e extender cables to go to 4 cards soon

Oh and shes current pulling 540w from the wall using a corsir gs600 psu, have a 850 on the way to run extra cards

Thanks so each transaction could use up 2-3 keys and your backup only gets old after 100 keys are used cool got it, but U would think they'd have a counter at bottom of client window telling you how many keys have been generated.

Quick question, do I need to countinually backup my wallet.dat files like every week, or is it a one off operation, I mean if I back it up with 100 coins in there then in a few months if theres 600 coins and my hdd goes splat, can i install a new wallet client on a new pc then load the original 100 coin dat file, will it then sync with network and restore my 600 coins?

I have my pc setup with 2x hard drives in a raid mirror , if one drive fails(and hard drives all fail at some point) I put another in and it rebuilds the image. I also backup my wallet .dat files to a USB stick and hide in case pc is stolen

Anyone tried this site?
He's got a thread on this site giving away a couple bets but I cant post or PM because im a newbie.
Problem is I transferred .01 BTC to give it a go but still no balance, I left the deposit window open for about 2hrs, 0% activity then I had to reboot.
Anyways that was like over a day ago and https://blockchain.info/address/1KxGS1YFmUrELqvy2DtRFkTnhnnt4jopC3 says 80+ confirmations.
Guess I'll just wait another day see if it shows up, put a ticket in on the site like 4hrs ago but Im in Australia so guess he's sleeping.
