21  Economy / Economics / Re: How does a Bitcoin have any value? on: February 19, 2018, 04:11:16 PM
The dollar has value because of the weight of the USA government is behind it.  But all fiat currencies hyperinflate eventually, history shows that. So basically its built on faith.

Gold has intrinsic value because it can be used for other purposes and its rare.

Bitcoin has more potential value than both because it solves massive problems. Lower transaction fees, decentralization so very little inflation, it can be swapped instantly all over the world, its more secure than regular money, its somewhat anonymous, and yet transparent at the same time, it cuts out middlemen, etc etc etc.  And because it was first, it is the most tested protocol.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what will happen when all bitcoin get mined or all transactions stops ?? on: February 19, 2018, 04:03:27 PM
No, the opposite.

Low supply+ high demand= high value.

Once its all mined, people will want it more and since it will be harder to get, they will pay more for it.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really secure? on: February 19, 2018, 03:55:06 PM
The way we know that Bitcoin is secure is because a ton of software developers have looked at the source code and frankly a lot of hackers have tried to hack it.  Its been around for 9 years now so if it wasnt secure, there would be counterfeit BTC everywhere (and I dont mean BCH, haha).  BTC is in fact safer than keeping your money in a bank as long as you use cold storage.
24  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Pump and Dump. How to make a profit? on: February 19, 2018, 02:09:05 AM
Just avoid pump and dumps.  Its such an unnecessary risk.  There are other ways of making profits in this market.  For example I use a Telegram channel that gives info from top sources and I just buy and hold and its been great for me (see my signature).
But if you try to outsmart the market youre just gonna get rekt.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Really End World Poverty? on: February 19, 2018, 02:02:22 AM
Bitcoin, and money in general, is a tool.  It cant do anything itself.  World poverty and hunger can only be solved by mankind.

Argentina is pretty cheap electrically speaking.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end? on: February 17, 2018, 04:10:47 PM
Bitcoin will exist for many years, I think.

As for an investment, its not too late, not even close.  Ive heard several experts say it could hit 350k, 500k or even 1 million at some point, which would make its current price extremely undervalued.

Remember, even though were seeing a lot of these altcoins moon,  only like 5% of them will exist in a few years (there are over 1300 now).  Only ones that solve real problems, have good teams and tech and marketing will survive.  So dont think that BTC isnt a good investment because its not going 10X in a month.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long bitcoin will survive ? on: February 17, 2018, 04:05:27 PM
Bitcoin depends on usage, but if youre talking about its actual existence...
Until computers dont exist or the last BTC password is lost, Bitcoin will exist.  Will it retain its value for a long time?  I think so.
30  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: the most profitable coin if invested? on: February 16, 2018, 07:34:53 PM
I think Cindicator might have the highest potential to risk ratio.  It has an actual fully functional product out, the product, which is a prediction service, is amazing and its set up to benefit from the high demand+low supply advantage (you need 1 million tokens to access the top tier service).

Its at around $0.20 now, but its thought that it will get to be well over $20.00 in a couple years (according to Palm Beach Confidential, at least).
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Palm Beach Confidential issue out tonight- main coin pick? on: February 15, 2018, 05:17:29 PM
Just like the title says... What are your guesses for the main coin pick?

Im thinking its one of the new additions Teeka added last month but PBC said yesterday that the pick would be a "weird case use" so coins with competition like ADA are out.

So im thinking:

WAX or POWR

Maybe its not a coin already added.  He did also say he had been researching it for a while.  We will find out soon as the newest issue comes out tonight (see my signature).

What are your guesses?
32  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoins hit 30K before the end of this year? on: February 15, 2018, 05:07:33 PM
I dont doubt it for a second.  Palm Beach Confidential (new issue tonight btw. See my signature)  put the buy up to price at 25,000 so that should tell you something.  With the lightning network update, Bitcoin will be near instant and low cost, eliminating most arguments against it, plus it has first mover advantage.

Im predicting 80 to 100k by December.  I think 30k is quite conservative.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: !Western Union announced a partnership with Ripple! on: February 15, 2018, 01:13:18 AM
They have to stay relevant somehow.  I think palm beach confidential was right about Ripple being big although I dont like how cozy it is with banks.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Why privacy coins will not be banned on: February 13, 2018, 05:09:38 PM
A lot of people are concerned that privacy coins will be banned because they allow people to launder money or commit crimes more easily.

First off, I have to say it annoys me that we live in a world where so many people think privacy is a crime.
Journalists, whistleblowers, people with sensitive medical, financial, sexual histories, people who dont trust governments, are just a few people who should have the right to privacy.  With freedom comes risk.  Criminals sometimes succeeding is the risk we accept.

Ok, rant over.

Anyway, regardless of what some governments will do, privacy is a right thats not going away.  TOR, which allows people to surf the web anonymously, is not illegal and has been around for many years.  Cash is used by more criminals than any other medium.  The beautiful thing about privacy coins is even if they were banned, the ban would be entirely unenforceable.  Especially because cryptos have no national borders.

If cryptos were going to be banned in the free world, it probably wouldve happened by now.  There will be regulation, but make no mistake: bans will only hurt the governments that use them. Once you ban cryptos, the wealth stored in them will flood out of your country.  Privacy coins will be a niche worth trillions.  Governments know this.  Im sure there will be many rapacious attempts to stamp out our freedoms, but a ban is impractical.

So buy them up!

Good luck!  Lots of people have made more with less in crypto.  My signature is a Telegram group that helps people with investments. Mainly palm beach confidential updates but check it out Smiley
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency will ultimately lose its attractiveness? on: February 13, 2018, 04:39:01 PM
Crypto is a bubble theres no doubt about that.  But the internet had a bubble and Amazon and other internet companies are the biggest in the world right now.  The burst will just rid us of shitcoins and allow the good coins to flourish as they absorb the value.

There are a lot of pump and dumps out there.  Thats inevitable for now until the market corrects and grows more.  That doesnt mean the whole asset class is a pnd lol.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / palm beach confidential feb 2018 on: February 12, 2018, 03:57:58 PM
PBC has a new issue out in 3 days..
Any speculation to what the new coin pick will be?  For anyone who didnt hear it, last time it was Cindicator.  My guess this time is AION but of course no one knows.

What do you all think?
