Most likely the problem with this approach is the fees charged when converting the bitcoin back into cash.
Also exchanges often have a minimum withdrawal amount which could be say $100 or $1000.

Unless its been listed by Satoshi Nakamoto himself then its a blatant rip off.

Seems like its getting really close today (27 Nov). If not today, then certainly either tomorrow (Thanksgiving) or "Bitcoin Black Friday".
Just FYI down here in Australia it has already well and truly surpassed AUD$1000 which is a big milestone.
People on localbitcoins here are selling them for cash for about AUD$1050-AUD$1100.
