I'd probably made a mistake by sending 650.299 CND to wallet address 0x1f7217b1FEE4B7877c465F82849C169Bea2a6! If that's the case - AND if the owner of this addres reads this - please, sent me back the tokens. That would be very honest! My wallet addres is 0x1644ca863e2698c61ff8c12da87221dfdc5e12c0 Some facts of the transaction that took place: https://ethplorer.io/address/0x1f7217b1fee4b7877c465f82849c169bea2a6f6b![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fibb.co%2FjE27ib&t=663&c=kNevblwefgk59g) ....which is why a bit of paranoia wouldn't hurt in this kind of system or any kind of system that involves money! Always, always double, triple, or even for the fourth time check, confirm, validate your address/es. This wouldn't take much of your time. Better to use up a few minutes of your time checking your transactions than losing a fortune. Don't let stupidity run or dictate your way of thinking. Once again: I thought it was a missending in first place, but when the transaction took place I was at work. There is also another guy complaining. That means I am not the only one who has lost his tokens. Look for yourself at the comments: https://etherscan.io/address/0x1f7217b1FEE4B7877c465F82849C169Bea2a6f6B#comments

How can you assume the owner of the wallet is on this forum to read this. Even if he read it ,how sure ate you he will return it. Today men including you and me are all money lovers so I doubt if any one will resend you.
No you have and yes you can get it. That's a Dutch saying ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

That really sucks to hear. I'm not sure if you'll be able to get it back but might as well post it as a lesson to others.
Yeah, good lesson to others! Anonymity of cryptocurrency might be a bless, but at the same time it's a curse.

I really dont know how it could happen. I just sent the tokens from Binance to Myetherwallet and the next day they where gone. I thougt it was a missending in first place. I used to log in with the private key, so I think that was the weak link. I have searched the address via Google, but no results. There is no way to track down the wallet owner, I guess.

That sucks sorry to hear it. I'm sure someone can run a google search and would be able to find this thread if they looked for it so hopefully they realize its a mistake and search the address . best of luck
I know by now it's not a sending mistake.. its a hack. A second person have been hacked by the same person. See for yourself: https://etherscan.io/address/0x1f7217b1fee4b7877c465f82849c169bea2a6f6b#comments

So I see you have been hacked. Its not the fault of MEW, its your fault. You should be responsible enough to take necessary steps to access your account safely, cleaning your device from malware and keeping safe your Private Key.
Did I mentioned MEW as the bad wulf? No one is fault in this case, but the hacker! So what are you trying to say?

^ Rescan your computer. you might be infected by a malware that pastes wallet address into hackers address.
For more security always check receiving address manually before sending it.
Thanks for the tip.

Thanks all for your reply! Now I know for sure, I have been hacked. There is a second victim on the spot who lost his 1,263.204558816 Erc20 (BAR) tokens to this unknown person: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fibb.co%2FkfbQKG&t=663&c=Bu9QpWmsJyxhzg) Be careful using MyEtherWallet. Do not use your private key to log in! Use a hardware wallet instead! Anyway, I might have to live with it as a good lesson.

but how you did you know the wrong address?
By looking in the wallet history.

Hoi Brobbel,
