I tried my hand at trading in 2017 and was doing okay...then came 2018! I did do some reading and in order to have a life, some of the gurus I read said, pick one or two days a week and that is the day you trade. I am still trying to learn how to read the charts and figure out the candlesticks.

BNB coin as binance is about to do a coin burn...price will steadily increase until the may burn!

Personally I would love for Eth to pass bitcoin, I just don't see that happening as Bitcoin is so limited in the number of coins and eth is not capped. Just a thought.

As a beginner I found that Binance was the easiest market to trade....but that is because they don't just list coins against the bitcoin, eth or BNB, but they also use the dollar. This for sure makes it easier for a newbie to begin trading as it can be difficult to keep up with the BTC price change. However, lately I have noticed that many new exchanges do not list coins using the dollar and so, it struck me that perhaps I need to learn how to figure the exchange rate if I am going to progress in the crypto world. in term of investing the Bitcoin or just keeping it.... I like to diversify, which includes keeping some of my money in Bitcoin.

Then there is a question of happiness, joy or contentedness. Images of people who barely have anything yet they hang out and talk or sing songs....they seem content in that moment, even if they don't have money. I would like to achieve that state on a regular basis...for now...I buy lottery tickets. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

Altcoins allow for the growth of blockchain technology. I believe there are differences in the technology behind Bitcoin, Ripple, Ethereum, and Iota. People can hate on ripple because it is so centralized...but Ripple just went on the Donors Choose website and funded every teachers projects, millions of dollars of projects. I am surprised that the price didn't bump. But I digress....I am not a techie but I am very interested in the Tangle that processes transactions without the high payments of the bitcoin blockchain. I am not sure how secure it is versus bitcoin blockchain or ERC-20 token technology. I would be interested if someone could talk about that.
Cheers!!!

The use of the name Ripple, in Ripple Cash, seems to imply a relation to the original Ripple. Is that true?
