Most of us speak english, so be so kind to use it.

We are a world community and people should talk in the language they are most articulate in.

That being said, google has a translate service.
Copy the text, put it in Google Translate.
Most of the alternative language I have seen here is russian.

Make that attempt and you can understand. It is worth the effort.

Also, It may be good to put the translation into English, and do not make fun of those that try, cause translators are not perfect,
but they get you close enough to understand. In the end, understanding is key.

Anyone have the latest chain snapshot?  I am 1000 blocks behind but the snapshot from https://m-core.org/bin/block-chain/ is old.  Only goes up to 1813042.  I solved 3 blocks last night solo mining but they are probably on the wrong fork.

This advice is working! resetting the blockchain WITH the changes in the config is keeping me up to date. Thank you!

Also, mining on Tras. and that is working too!

Sigh... Angry
That's the last "safe"/"Correct" block in the chain before the split. so best start from there to stop any more errors.

Change your magi.conf to remove any "addnode" entries and only have a single "connect=" listed. Also make sure "listen=" is set to Zero

Code:
connect=104.128.225.215
listen=0

replace your "Database" and "Block" folders with the ones from 1813042 snapshot. Wait for it to sync (it might take an couple of hours.)
Then do a :
Code:
checkwallet
then
Code:
repairwallet
in the wallet console and restart the wallet.

You might loose the coins mined unfortunately!

(I was happily mining on the test wallet and made a nice 160xmg which I know were going away once I got back on the main wallet)  Wink so you're not alone in the pain of loosing xmg

This advice is working! resetting the blockchain WITH the changes in the config is keeping me up to date. Thank you!

I've updated a windows version here if one wants to test the testnet: https://m-core.org/bin/m-wallet-1.4.6.3-test/m-wallet-1.4.6.3-test.zip

We'll make out a fix to the issue by a new version soon (about weekend I expect).

All beta testers, please update your wallets to 1.4.6.3 and point your miners to it to find atleast one POW block in testnet to reduce difficulty.

Just to clarify. OK to mine to tet wallet even though its says not to in the wallet itself?

My test wallet has not been synching for a few hours now. What is up?
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XMG] MAGI | CPU mining | mPoW | mPoS | [MagiPay] on: May 07, 2018, 06:41:58 PM
I have the test wallet ( V1.4.6.1 ) running against the supplied blockchain DB and a copy of my wallet.dat. With the exception on unconfirmed payouts, ( normal I think,) no issues so far.  Minting as well with 4 connections.

Question: If I create a new address with the test wallet and solo mine against the test blockchain, will the address and mined coins stay on that fork and not the "real" blockchain?

Test wallet functioning here too, but block movement is very very slow. Got a small minting reward but only 25 blocks have passed since yesterday, so no complete confirmation. That's all the input I have for now.

I am a sub 150k miner, and I have to wonder if none of you notice what I have during these weird times:

I'm getting more coin per day thn I was when things were "STABLE". Now, sure, I don't make much, but it is more than before.

Is it not the same for the rest of you?

On a different note: Is everyone here minting as well to help the network?

Last thought: XMG is at $0.55 today and I am now in profit after 4 months.

I am curious about the dev situation and would like to talk about strategies for expanding that team.

Overall, I am happy and not complaining.

Am I the only one noticing the increase in coin/day?

So this is new.  In the last 5 hours, my minting has has a rash of unconfirmable hits.  Five in a row, once an hour, that is new.  I have had bad hits before here or there, but always followed by  good one.  Anyone else having this problem?

As i transfered 133 coins in order to cryptopia. That they still have possibly not credited all of us or taken care of immediately my services ticket.

That is so weird. I have never had one issue with Cryptopia.
All my transactions have been smooth.

POS do you need separate wallet for every 1000 coins? Is it effective to add multiple addresses?
I just store all in the same address

the important thing is to setup your magi.conf well

Code:
# You must set rpcuser and rpcpassword to secure the JSON-RPC api
rpcuser=[put-a-username-of-your-choice-here]
rpcpassword=[put-a-random-password-of-your-choice-here]

# Listen for RPC connections on this TCP port:
rpcport=8232

# server=1 to accept JSON-RPC commands
server=1

# listen=1 to accept connections from outside
listen=1

# RPC connection from localhost allowed
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1

# Add nodes to connect to specific peers
addnode=104.128.225.215
addnode=103.11.64.40

# posii=1 to enable PoS staking; default = 0
posii=1

# Transaction under stake with a value greater than the threshold is being splitted
stakesplitthreshold=500

# Transactions with values less than the threshold will combine into one
stakecombinethreshold=500

How do we know what nodes to add? Where can we find that info?

hello guys, I wonder if it is possible to mine xmg from an android quad core phone? I think it would be a good idea to have a version of miners available to install on android devices.
I was mining on a 8 core phone a while ago - the hash rate was so low that I stopped

I was using NeoNeon miner app, if that helps.

I have been messing around with this a bit. I have a couple Galaxy S4s(NeoNeon Miner) and a Raspberry Pi. Right now, I have then plugged in to the house power so not making a dime there, although electricity is included in my rent. In a another month, hopefully sooner, I will have these devices all powered off a solar panel system I have. In 3 weeks I have mined 0.22910162, and that is mainly with just one of the Galaxy S4s. I have them in a pool at xmg.minerclaim.net. They have a different port for slower devices. My pc mines with xmg.bullmining.com

I found my slower machines like cellphones work best on the Trasmamod pool.

you guys're mining XMG right? may I ask what is the profit, or did you get any profit back from that invest?
cause I saw that CPU mining just not efficiency. don't know if til the cpu die, did it mined enough the money that you invest for hardware?
thank you!

I started mining some days ago, but at present I don't think you could get the hardware cost back soon. Even with a raspberry Pi where the power cost are minimal, the return is pretty small. 2 week mining in an pool with one Raspberry Pi 3 ~ 0,55 XMG (or less) = a year about 15 XMG or so. To get the price for the PI back it would take rough 8 year (not counting the electricity, other stuff like Internet, SD-Card, ... ), but if you have hardware at home or you don't have to pay electricity it might be worth a shot (or running in the background of your computer, with lower efficiency).

I hope this info might help a bit. btw. here is a link to a claculator https://bitcoingarden.org/forum/index.php?topic=4544.msg230586#msg230586

thank you... 8years return without electric cost, I rather put my money in the bank...
I think raspberry might be the most minimal electric consumes, but not the one which has the highest rate computing power/electric consumption.
but even with higher efficiency CPU, still not worth a try for me...

thank you for your answer ^^  Grin

If there is one thing I have learned, is when an organic movement, that is not bought by big bucks starts receiving hate, the movement is on the right track.  The increase in sniping lately has me confident that I am in the right place. Go to GDAX if you want to daytrade. XMG is a long term project and one that is worth more time.  I use old cellphones and my laptop to mine, so no capital output, I have bought a bit for staking and I am satisfied.  XMG is a buy, if for no other reason that $0.30 seems like a good price point. (Not to mention a 42.5% increase. If you aren't buying now, I don't want to hear the complaining later.

You have been informed.  #XMG is the way.

It is profitable for me because I use the laptop and cellphones, that I already own, to mine.
That makes my equipment costs $0

I have even put two old android cellphones, that were just sitting in a drawer, to work.
In the apartment in which I live, utilities are a fixed price each month, so I am not paying any more than I would.

(Electricity charge $0)

I LOVE MAGI COIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  (XMG)

Hey guys. Noob here. I mine with xmg.bullmining.com. I did a manual 'payout' 2 days ago.....All the while my wallet was running and up to date with the block-chain. I still have not received my 'payout'. I have restarted to wallet, restarted the computer and done just about anything I can think of without redownloading the entire blcok-chain as I only have 3 MB interwebs...

Any thoughts?

Only thing I can think is that there site went down for over a day and just came back up. Might have delayed something?  The only other thing is, did you create a receive address for bullmining?

https://xmg.bullmining.com  website is not responding. grrr

My miner seems to be mining from there still though.

At last… after almost 2 months I got a reply from Cryptopia support on my query. They looked at the transactions on the block explorer and can see an issue. They will investigate further. Hopefully this will be resolved soon.

What a drag you have been having those problems. Cryptopia has been smooth for me.

Someone is again attacking the chain.. *sigh* ... Lots of reorgs of the blockchain from an ukranian IP... Probably a botnet or something
Thanks OCMiner. Team will look into this. But looks ok at this moment. I might miss something. 👀

orphan hell currently.. check the logs Smiley
Hmm will be ok soon. No worries yet!

m-core still down after hours.

Any announcement on this appreciated

Orphaned blocks on mining is skyrocketing. What happened?
 Huh Huh Huh

Apparently another bug. At least the block rewards are up, even if the blocks aren't real Huh

I'm sure it will be fixed soon.

This just showed up on my Windows defender report on my wallet program:
Trojan:Win32/Cloxer.D!cl

Never seen that before. Have you?
