21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ICOs should be protected from dump on: December 21, 2018, 03:37:38 PM
After careful research, when you see a good ICO, you would know and there will be no doubt about it.
I have noticed that good ICOs also dump after listing, competing with crap ones that have no definite direction, but to cart away funds.
There are ways in which they can be protected and prevent unreasonable dump in price. Some of which are:

1. They should be managed by credible and trusted managers, managers that already have good reputation on the forum, else the trust might not be there.

2. KYC should be made mandatory for all bounty and airdrop participants in order to avoid multiple accounts. The kyc should be announced

3. Participants should be made to complete the remaining process of their registrations on the project's website, where IP can be detected. Multiple accounts can also be prevented this way.

4. Listing should be done on reliable and reputable exchange sites.

5. There should be regular and prompt communication with the community.

6. Projects should maintain and comply to their roadmaps and if there is amendment, the community should be made to know, with concrete reasons.

These are just few among so many other solutions, but if this few are integrated into the system, i believe dump can be minimized if not totally eliminated.
The fall in the price of tokens of projects after the end of ICOs may depend on many factors. For example, from the situation on the market, from the economic situation in general, on how the project complies with its roadmap and deadlines. The main problem is that almost all projects have no real use and do not generate profits. Cryptocurrency at this stage is an asset for speculation and for someone an additional means of payment.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: cryptocurrency or stock market. on: December 21, 2018, 03:26:21 PM
As we all know, the stock market has been around for a very long time now and on the other hand, cryptocurrency is a trend that is increasing rapidly when it comes to the world of trade and commerce. Some may prefer to invest in crypto because of high returns but some will still go with the stock market and play it safely.
In your opinion, what would be the best choice to invest your money?
Investing in the stock market is certainly safer. But investing in cryptocurrency can bring big profits. I believe that it is possible to invest one part of the funds in the stock market, and another part in the cryptocurrency. In this way, risks can be reduced.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is this a good sign for ethereum on: December 20, 2018, 09:38:30 AM
A state-owned bank in Brazil is about to issue a crypto token designed to maintain parity with the national currency.
the Brazilian National Social Development Bank will launch a pilot in January 2019 for the BNDES token, which runs on the ethereum blockchain.

https://www.coindesk.com/this-brazilian-bank-is-using-ethereum-to-issue-a-stablecoin

your opinion Smiley
I think that in itself, this event is unlikely to greatly affect the cost of ethereum. But in 2019, ethereum will have an important update of the platform and, in combination with all the positive news and events, will certainly have a positive impact on the cost of ethereum. Of course, provided that the ethereum team will not change the stated dates.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves are going up on: December 20, 2018, 09:27:10 AM
https://client.wavesplatform.com/dex-demo?assetId2=WAVES

From $1.5 to $4, it's time to consider this currency
Waves had a rather important event. Hence the large increase in the price of the token.
During the closed round of financing, the Waves platform raised $ 120 million from private and institutional investors to launch its Vostok project.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why People Choose Cryptocurrency? on: December 20, 2018, 09:16:52 AM
Why People Choose Cryptocurrency?
Some people consider cryptocurrency a simple way to get rich. Some people use a cryptocurrency as a fast means of payment without borders and with small commissions. But at the moment, of course, cryptocurrency is used as a speculative asset. In the future, of course, new technologies will emerge from cryptocurrency, which will be integrated into our lives.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Does ICO and bounty die? on: December 19, 2018, 07:15:35 AM
Hi all. I took part in more than 3 hundred bounties in two year. Last half year there are no pay from project to hunters. Maybe bounty will die or it's transformayion in something other Huh  Huh Huh
I think ICO and bounty are dying. At least in the form in which they exist now and in current conditions. Investors, especially large ones, want safe conditions. High market volatility also plays a negative role. Perhaps ICO and bounty waiting for the transformation in the presence of certain conditions.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trouble of Altcoins on: December 19, 2018, 07:06:00 AM
Friends today I checked the market in the morning and it's just awful, falling, falling, and falling again. What altcoins do you think should be kept from top 10 or buy or drop part of the portfolio and keep only Bitcoin and possibly Ethereum that has fallen? As much as I understand this year it's better to hold?
I invest in top alts and bitcoin, which I will hold for a long time. There is Ethereum, XRP, Stellar, Cardano, Monero, Waves, ICON in my portfolio. I believe in projects that have useful technology, a strong team, a platform, or large financial resources. I also invest in different, perspective, in my opinion, altcoins, but more insignificant amounts.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto market in depression on: December 19, 2018, 06:51:36 AM
The crypto market is on a rapid downward spiral and almost all coins including so called good coins are down in prices. Is there any chances the market will recover? In my opinion, it takes the end of the year 2018 to recover the market. What are your views?
In order for the market to recover, certain conditions are needed. The market should be regulated and safe for investors, volatility should decrease, technologies should be integrated into real life, projects should generate profits. At the moment, cryptocurrency is just a speculative asset and no more. All this is real, but it will take time. I think that this will happen approximately in 2-3 years.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who actually invests in ICO's? on: December 17, 2018, 02:33:47 PM
Investors have lost trust in the ICO's. Moreover, the price of tokens of most projects fell below their price at the ICO stage. Too many cases when projects were fraud. Or when projects raised funds from investors, they stopped doing the project. Investors are not protected by law. People no longer want to invest in white paper and promises of projects. But reliable projects find their investors.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Panic selling! Yes or No? on: December 17, 2018, 02:17:20 PM
Obviously, such a fall in prices, has launched a panic selling. But not everyone is selling cryptocurrency. Some have become forced holders. Some believe that after some time the trend will change to growing. Personally, I believe that cryptocurrency will increase in price, but it will take maybe 2-3 years. This will happen when the necessary conditions arise.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Favourite coin so far on: December 17, 2018, 02:06:02 PM
Ethereum, Bitcoin, Monero, ICON, LINK are my favorites for today. I believe that these coins have excellent prospects for long-term investment. Naturally, I have other coins in my briefcase, but there are far fewer.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am most worried now on: December 15, 2018, 09:23:04 AM
That was the collapse of ETH, because most of the airdrop and bounty programs were through the ERC-20 platform. Do you think the same thing happened?
The demand for ETH naturally depended to some extent on its use for participation in the ICO. Also, the decline in the ETH was influenced by the fact that many projects began to be sold urgently to ETH, obtained with ICO, when the market began to fall. But let's not forget that ETH has a very strong team and great resources. This is a powerful platform that implements its objectives and goals. When the market starts to grow, then ERC-20 tokens will grow in price, maybe with some exceptions.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hope ahead for crypto currencies on: December 15, 2018, 09:08:53 AM
Theres a reason why Bitcoin was called a bubble..
Bubble is not Bitcoin, but too strong desire of people to get rich quickly and easily, making a minimum of effort. Bitcoin is at least a technology and a means of payment, even if not yet received widespread use and distribution. But this is exactly what awaits him in the coming years.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why everyone becoming the holder? on: December 15, 2018, 08:53:15 AM
I think some people became forced coin holders. They hit the cryptocurrency market when it was growing up and simply did not have time to sell the coins in time. But I think there are those who believe that there will be market growth and that they will receive good profits in the future. These are smart investors, they invest part of their funds in cryptocurrencies as in other assets
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is the FINAL on: December 15, 2018, 08:45:40 AM
Every month or so, new altcoins get listed to crypto exchanges

But I do not see their "intention" of getting listed in this situation of the market.

What is the point? They are becoming more and more worthless, even up to 0.0007$ or so?

If i overview the technological aspects, most of them are data platforms, service platforms, or reverse-ICOs.

I mean, is Blockchain technology even going to develop further so that it can be commercialized and standardized?

The Blockchain technology is developing further despite the situation on the cryptocurrency market. Some large businesses and banks are implementing Blockchain in their projects. Also, many cryptocurrency projects after the ICO continue to work on projects and develop, communicate with their community, follow the roadmap.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warnings for token hodlers on: December 15, 2018, 08:40:15 AM
Investing in cryptocurrency involves great risks. Therefore, you need to understand the risks and do not invest all your money. After some time, the market will start to grow again, but this can happen in a year or two, for example. Only patient investors will get a good return.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What happens to the other cryptocurrencies if the Bitcoin goes to $ 2,000? on: December 14, 2018, 02:44:48 PM
Most coins will also fall in price, perhaps even more than the price of Bitcoin. But individual coins can rise in price, as investors and traders will look for a way to hedge a fall. For example it can be stablecoins.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next year cryptocurrency market on: December 14, 2018, 02:35:50 PM
I need to know if the coins like early in the year will start to inflate prices. However, I think this way the market will not rise. Say your ideas.
Something should be a driver for the growth of the market or prices for specific coins. For example, it may be significant events or very important positive news. Many positive events are planned, but if the deadlines for their implementation are postponed, it will most likely have a negative impact on prices.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not give up, you can still make it on: December 14, 2018, 02:30:20 PM

I believe that cryptocurrency is only at the beginning of its path. It takes time for technologies to be applied in our life, for innovative projects to become in demand. That's when the cryptocurrency market will grow at times. Of course, not all coins and projects will live to this point.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who will be the new king on: December 14, 2018, 02:21:03 PM
Now the mainstream currency, BTC-ETH, has the upper hand, and they have the strength and technology, but the future is likely to be a new project to replace them more mature and more comprehensive. What do you think it would be?
I am sure that more and more new money will come through stablecoins, well, ETH will catch up with Bitcoin. I believe in ETH more than bitcoin. Bitcoin is just the currency and everything. ETH is the basis for a decentralized economy (with all the strengths of Bitcoin - decentralization, a large community) and this will become more obvious next year.
