Attention BC community.
This morning I was hacked for about 2500 BC. My Mintpal and PC were both raided. I would like to place a bounty on this thief. I have his IP along with my compromised addresses and the addresses he withdrew to. It appears by following the blockchain he has been getting others as well, so for the good of myself and the community he needs to be stopped. I realize my computer has some serious security issues and I am in the process of rebuilding it right now. This man must be stopped though.
here is the IP he used 174.127.99.183
here is 2 of the addresses he withdrew to
BLDniLSRD3E9oc68NGNB6MGnZrWXuoZmn1 - Blackcoin ZbNSDXFy9HchXu6yDnVvmTdSKfSEjDaSUL - Zetacoin
And here is my blackcoin wallet off my personal computer which he raided for my wallet.dat file, deleted my client and then transferred the funds before I had realized what had happened. I have a backup of the wallet.dat but funds have already been moved.
my wallet - BERRF3gsJaSj3rre4sJk3zvu9bEEs8X6NP wallet he transferred to -BLDniLSRD3E9oc68NGNB6MGnZrWXuoZmn1
If anyone can help me out it would be very kind this bastard needs to pay.
Which OS you been using?

Hi, I wrote a little step-by-step guide yesterday that is aimed at people new to Blackcoin. It will also hopefully serve as a way to answer some basic questions that people may have regarding using the various functions of the BC wallet as well as explaining how to Stake whilst still keeping the wallet encrypted. It isn't meant to be an in-depth look at Blackcoin, (I will leave that to people better than I) as I wanted to have something that people who are new to all things crypto would be able to comprehend easily, and hopefully answer some questions regarding sending, receiving, backing up, Staking and encrypting. I have also added some useful links at the bottom of the article that may help any new potential investors become involved more. (Buying BC, Forums plus other links etc) Let me know what you think, and if you think that there is something glaringly obvious that I may have missed, please let me know. http://www.techfleece.com/2014/04/10/a-step-by-step-guide-to-using-your-blackcoin-wallet-staking/ +1 Please put a link on 1st page

Hi,
I read a lot of comments here from community members trying to convince others not to sell. While I am convinced in BCs concept being superior compared to most other coins, I dont think this kind of behavior is really helpful, but rather make BC appear weak. I think to sell or dump your coins is given right of every coin holder. Is it our job to convince dumpers to act against the trend and the market? No!
People wont step in big in BC because they have a nice fluffy talk with the community members.. they step in big when they get a shock over lost profits when checking the coincharts in the morning at the breakfast table. Therefore, instead of blabbing around and shitting in our pants when someone announces to dump, we should instead rent all available hashing power and point it to the BC multipool to shoot this coin to the moon!!
Are there no guys around like me who are no techies and are not interested in mining, but rather in shares on renting a farm? Everyone could get his fare share of BC while we pushing the price up together at the same time! For me that seems to be the most promising option of pushing BC. We could add some decent GH to the multipool instead of sitting around and waiting for any miners to join..I wonder why cant I see any initative in this direction so far?
Cheers mikenz
Yes! Lets rent all available mining rigs on betarigs.com and point them all to the blackcoinpool.com GO FOR IT!

I think I prefer the Mark Zuckerberg approach of getting it out there quick and dirty and fixing bugs as we go. Every day without an update is a whole load of potential hashes wasted.
Everything depends upon context, and in this context, I couldn't disagree more. Facebook is a social networking platform which doesn't have the capacity to wreck individual users investments. If it breaks a bit, no problem. If you release a slightly buggy financial instrument, people might be willing to accept its not-quite-working status for a little while, but eventually, users could be left with the impression that the system is being develloped by a bunch of kids with no real regard for its users financial status, and as a consequence, give up on it and never return. My own opinion is that, given the very early stage of this coin's development, waiting for a well executed, polished, effective tool to be released is the way to go. I think many of us forget that there are still very few people who are aware of the existance of coins such as this. Apple don't release slightly iffy versions of their products ( well, maybe they do, I don't use them, but this is my impression ) ... they release great looking product that just works, and people love it. If BC can keep calm for a bit, be patient, release the killer tool when it is ready, the market will set itself around around it. If BC can keep calm for a bit, be patient, release the killer tool when it is ready, the market will set itself around around it.

... On the other hand, 0.015BTC/MH is not that bad. With 3 MH I need 12 hours to get that on Wafflepool... ...
Apologies I corrected my post - 0.015 is what I was getting in total, so I'm looking more like 0.0026BTC per Mh/s. Also I'm not sure if they have more tweaking to do because it is rare their end reports anywhere near 5.7Mh/s (more like 3-4), I don't have that problem with MPOS pools. Where the rate does bounce about a bit, it's usually fairly close to the truth. I'm not accusing there being theft or anything like that but think the code needs tweaking or something. Anyway I'll report back after a good test on a different pool. Maybe it will be easier ask Wafflepool to do payouts in BC...

When is the multipool finally going functional?
its already on, but dont expect anything SUPREME That's what I meant by "going functional": Santinizing the market. At the moment, we have more dumpers than investment. Forget about pool, people lost interest, it is too late now. If you still believe in BC start buy small chunks, thats the best way at the moment, mining is not profitable any more... it's too late now? this coin is still 4 weaks old... every coin in the top 40 are in red. we go up soon, slowly but up is up:-) I wonder why the pool doesnt get enough hashes. Maybe its because the devs are too nerdy to give enough information about the development. If you ask in the IRC, all you hear is "soon". That might be funny from a nerd point of view, but it's totally a fuckup for PR. Pool needs to be fully transparent so everybody can see how they are doing. I been asking as well on IRC for updates, they are keep saying "SOON", "TOMMOROW" I told them HYPE is gone, already! People went somewhere else. At the moment with 500MH/s scrypt they are mining about 2,5BTC daily which is a huge buy support for BC price... LOL

Those 4 addresses below dumped 1,243,184 BC's today in less than 2 hours. Thats close to 70 BTC BRLbUWDC5iSokSFED1GaSdxC1ReEvsaE3y BCArCjqgnd5e96bPLZjcPFgCVTHLSfFP1g BRtteNFwLYzeFYNLSHTRq6buqBXY96MpzV BFdiT7SokXwM9h41F2Vc81XVwNBCR5RPjP
edit: that 1.2 mil BC got distributed to other address and made even spread. I think I like that.
That could be those stolen BCs dumped

Looking at the max chart on mintpal we should be due a correction. Having said that we are in crypto world where normal physics don't apply.
If the growth had been steady, we should be in mid-high 5000's. Will we see a correction soon? Your thoughts...
Buy orders allready set around 5000 Just waiting now
