21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Would you participate in new project if it is not listed in ICO rating websites? on: September 15, 2019, 09:10:16 AM
Absolutely, the main thing is not posting a project on rating sites, but its potential, social value and product. If a project solves an urgent problem, has an original idea, bears value for the community, and is able to increase the efficiency of a certain branch of the economy, then such a project deserves our attention. Placement on rating sites can simply be bought and do not forget that such sites do not check the legality of the project and its team, so you should not trust them.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties sometimes are unpredictable on: September 15, 2019, 08:32:50 AM
I think you need to carefully study the project before joining it, but lately I realized that even if the project was successful, it does not guarantee that you will receive a sufficiently high payment for your work. Therefore, if I chose a project and joined it, I try not to drop it and not switch to another one, but if I see that something suspicious is happening around the project, I can drop it. I see no reason to work if there is a high probability of not getting anything for my work.
23  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too many exchanges? on: September 14, 2019, 06:32:42 AM
I like a large number of exchanges because competition is growing and large exchanges are trying to improve the service and services that they offer, so as not to lose customers and not lose competition. But I agree, it would be convenient to trade a large number of coins on one exchange and not use a dozen different exchanges. I hope in the future the number of exchanges will become less and their quality higher.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs dead? on: September 13, 2019, 07:49:46 AM
In general, ICOs, as a form of fundraising, have not died, the requirements for projects that launch ICOs have simply increased. Even now, you can see projects that manage to raise large sums at the ICO. But I think that it depends on the project and the team, because only promising projects with a finished product and partnership agreements with large companies can succeed and raise the necessary amount during the ICO. For low-quality projects, ICOs are dead and most likely IEOs for such projects are also dead.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How crypto exchanges secure our funds? on: September 13, 2019, 07:14:58 AM
In fact, we cannot be sure of the safety of our funds that we store on crypto exchanges, because we do not know exactly how they store our funds. We only know what the members of the exchange team are telling us. Even large exchanges are hacked, but for example, large exchanges have a better attitude to security and store our funds because they value their reputation. Recently, I noticed that some exchanges began to create reserve funds or insure clients ’funds, but this concerns large exchanges, so I would be careful with new exchanges.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BEST DIVIDEND CRYPTO's to invest in... on: September 12, 2019, 11:25:02 AM
Now there are few projects that pay dividends over a long period of time and there are many scam projects that promise high projects, but usually close within a few months. Therefore, I think it is much better to invest in more reliable projects, for example COSS, NEO, ONT, TRX or in BNB tokens and put them into Binance Lending, which they recently announced, but I have not tried it yet https://www.binance.com/en/lending
27  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ArBinance Takes Arbitrage Trading to Another Level on: September 12, 2019, 08:11:39 AM
If I understand correctly this is a young project? Because their telegram channel was created less than a month ago. By the way, there are no telegrams of the group and there is no ANN on bitcointalk. This is strange because the largest community of crypto enthusiasts and crypto traders is located here. I think this project needs more time to get trust and feedback from the crypto community.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why Bounty Hunters Should Be Exempted from KYC/AML Procedures on: September 11, 2019, 11:43:04 AM
KYC is absolutely not needed for bounty campaigners, because bounty hunters cannot launder money, they are just hired workers, freelancers who perform a one-time task and get paid for it. On some bounty platforms, you can complete KYC once and not complete KYC for each individual campaign. There are different options, but passing KYC for each campaign in which you participate is not right.
29  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy Token When Bounty Hunters Sell They Coins on: September 11, 2019, 11:09:19 AM
Of course, it makes sense to buy only promising tokens. Although it is sometimes difficult to determine whether a project will become promising or not, you can take risks and buy some tokens at the bottom. I do not wait for listing on large exchanges, because many bounty hunters sell tokens on decentralized exchanges immediately after receipt and the price is often very attractive to buy.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: charge fee for IEO listings on: September 10, 2019, 02:46:07 PM
This issue was discussed earlier, so for more information, you can read the posts of community members in this topic:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3285119.0
Listing prices depend on many factors and are likely to be negotiated individually, because all projects are different and have different prospects and growth potential.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee Believes Dogecoin “Will Go To The Moon” on: September 10, 2019, 11:45:10 AM
DOGE doesn't have a big future, but in the near future this coin may show something worthwhile, but so far it doesn't impress me much
It can show growth only as a result of some short-term hype, which can begin at any moment as a result of some statement by some famous person. For me, this is not a serious coin, depending on the hype around it, so you should not expect big growth from it or regard it as an investment asset.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think about Bitcoin Gold? on: September 09, 2019, 12:32:01 PM
Unfortunately, all the coins that have the name "Bitcoin" did not become successful. Bitcoin Gold is also not very popular, unlike the original Bitcoin, but I like that the developers made it available for mining using the GPU. But seeing how the price of BTG is constantly falling, I begin to doubt that this coin will ever grow again.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: China’s Digital Fiat is Not a Crypto ?? on: September 09, 2019, 08:01:02 AM
You should not rely on the fact that China will create a decentralized cryptocurrency or accept Bitcoin and absolutely will not control them at all. We must not forget that this is a country with a rigid dictatorship of the Communist Party with full control of all areas of the country's economy. For those who did business with China, it is clear that this country is not like any of the European countries or the United States. All state coins will be centralized and will never have what Bitcoin has - decentralization and independence.
34  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best Cryptocurrency to Invest? on: September 08, 2019, 10:10:22 AM
For me, the best cryptocurrency to invest is the one that has the original idea and the use of this coin in the ideas of the project.
There are many coins that have an original and interesting idea, but watching them for a long time I see that they have no development. Therefore, not always an original and interesting idea can ensure the success of the company. Many last year’s ICOs had interesting ideas, and now nothing is even heard about them. It is difficult to find a project that will be successful among all existing projects, some of which are scam or unpromising.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MONERO - $2500 on: September 08, 2019, 09:05:13 AM
Why should the price reach $ 2500? Is there any objective reason for this, or have you done a fundamental analysis? Monero is a good coin, but due to the fact that it is anonymous government bodies have a negative attitude towards it and problems with its use may arise in the future. These difficulties may, accordingly, affect the price of a coin.
Buddy, there are some surge in price of the market which cannot be proof or foresee through analysis but by genuine information about whales accumulation.
There's huge chance that he government body may be against Monero in future due tp it anonymity. But, the OP was asking question if there's chance for the coin in subject to cliche $2500 next year which I believe is not possible and I think $1000 - 1500 price range will be the coin ATH.
Yes, I just thought that the author of the topic may have some objective information that the price could reach $2500. If there is no such information and this is just an assumption, then I agree with you that you should not rely on the fact that the price rises above $1000 even if the price of Bitcoin rises to $20,000.
36  Economy / Economics / Re: Indian Economy rising at slowest pace - Should they consider Crypto-currency? on: September 07, 2019, 12:58:59 PM
I think the government of India is very conservative, so it is difficult for them to change their attitude to innovative technologies and accept Bitcoin. Apparently because of their mentality, their country's economy is not developing very fast. But given the fact that there are many progressive entrepreneurs and enthusiasts in the country, it is quite possible that their government will change its attitude towards cryptocurrencies and will contribute to the adoption and development of cryptocurrencies in the country.
37  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Now the Perfect Time to Buy Bitcoin? on: September 07, 2019, 12:40:15 PM
I don’t know today is a good time to buy Bitcoin or tomorrow it will be a good time to buy, but for example I just buy BTC whenever possible and keep it in my wallet. I probably do this because I believe in its high growth potential and realize the likelihood that in a few years its price can reach several hundred thousand dollars and this motivates me to buy more BTC.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: sell bitcoin to buy fiat or altcoin? on: September 06, 2019, 06:11:31 PM
I see no reason to sell BTC now, when its price is not high and halving should happen soon. Moreover, the popularity of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is constantly growing. Now is a good time to buy and increase the volumes of BTC and altcoins on your wallets, but you need to decide on the budget allocation in order to understand what percentage of BTC and what percentage of other coins you will have.

40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think IEO is more legit if launch on big exchnages like Binance? on: September 05, 2019, 11:13:25 AM
Legit only for the exchange Grin
This reminds me of the harmony project launched in IEO binance, the sale was quite successful and the price was quite high during the first trading. But you can see now, because the price of token harmony has been dumped, so we should know that there is no guarantee in IEO and a big exchange is also not a guarantee. IEO in big exchanges looks more promising and will attract new investors to their platforms. But sometimes all this is just hype.
The question was different. The topic author talked about the legitimacy of projects that launch IEO on Binance. The exchange can provide a service for projects for launch IEO, advertising and fundraising. The fate and development of the project is in the hands of the project team and community. Moreover, you should take into account the fact that many investors participate in IEO of different projects only with the goal of making a profit and not because of faith in the project.
