BTC might be higher in price. However it's long confirmation time makes it seem to be worst than some altcoins so it would be BTC's cons. However, depending on BTC's storage, I agree that BTC is King and ETH is Queen!

There are many coin that its price under $1 now, however, to buy and hold for 1-1.5 years I think it is a little bit risky because we could not mke sure that these coins have bright future or not, maybe just a news could make its price goes to the moon or decline rapidly.

It's a good time to look for good and potential opportunities now. My friends said that the choice was very large and I can choose ICOs to diversify risk because so many ICO projects that turned to scam.

As we both know that BTC is the backbone of crypto market, thus it can't live without altcoins. And the need of diversifying coins by holding more altcoins is necessary, which can widen your opportunity for growth. Hence, altcoin is a significant part of my portfolio now.

This is a good way to earn to me, however, due to lack of time, I just participate at a extent as much as possible. I prefer to invest or to trade because it requires not too much time.

For a long term investment, I think the ETH and NEO will be good coins for that as its value may increase significantly in the long run. Moreover, their development is really potential and bright in the future, which can give investors as much more income as they expected.

The first is XEM, which rose from less than $0.01 at the start of 2017, to a high of $1.87 at the start of this year. The current circulation supply of XEM totals 9 billion coins, which is 23% of the number of Ripple (XRP) and just under half the amount of Stellar (XLM). This means that XEM supply is relatively low compared to two of the most famous altcoins, so if demand grows NEM can enjoy exponential growth. The second is SUB. It more than doubled in price in December 2017 but I believe it still has a long way to go

I think ETH is an awesome long-term investment. There is no doubt that it can reach 700 or more but noone can assure when it happens.

XMR is the best, I think. If you have a small amount of money, you should try XMR because the its price is cheaper, moreover, is in red.

When coins decrease in price it's best to HODL your coins. This what I did when DeepOnion decreased in price. I knew this private crypto has major potential due to its instant paymentd, secure transfers, and its redirection through TOR network so i knew it would gain within a short peroid of time, and it did.

I think HODL is better. Many people coming into the scene are not professional traders either and are going to lose a lot of their money due to their inexperience. If many of them were to look in the past they would have been better holding for example in the stock market if you held your money you would have made a lot of returns.
