Peopel asking why xhash.net had no confirmations in over 14 mins
BECAUSE the block was 15k% took ages to find it
That's either incredibly bad luck, or a stuck back-end cron. the latter obviously, 1GH pool & a 20MH pool did find the blocks  |

this is a fail coin.
difficulty has kimoto gravity well. so why not lunch it at 0.000024 like any typical coin. Early addapter are the one that make the coin.
instead you started with dificulty at 0.8.. 0.8!!!!!!!!!!!!! with KGW this dificulty went to 1,2,3 ,4 with in 50 blocks. this means that eveyone that mines will come out a loser. with only few coins mined because of this hard difficulty. mean while OP has 7kblocks *300 coins..... hahahahahaha

who is going to mine this coin when it will reach difficulty 10,13 and it will pay out 100 coins t a day worth of mining?

we are already running 0.8.6.2 KittehCoin on test networks with Kimoto Gravity Well difficulty algo to address drive-by-miners and hashrate fluctutations. This is what we do instead of wringing our hands about price, you should try doing something constructive for KittehCoin too, like zachamo is doing.

The reward will be halved in a couple days or so when the new specs kick in. There will
be half as many coins being made daily. Price will lift steadily.
Also today dumpers just finished up so expect steady rises into the weekend.
No surprises here.

Well, Theres been some great things happening with SXC..
Media attention , new services, a new exchange and new merchants...
But the price is down.. This information isn't getting out there...
Our official website hasn't been updated.. This is a problem, one I raised a week ago... It's still not updated.. A nice shiny new website would be nice, but in the weeks or months that it is being developed a quick update on the old one would stop a lot of negative impressions about SXC being formed.
I started an official page on facebook.. there was one, it went against SXC's branding and represented SXC as purely speculative, and elicited donations, none of which went to SXC's development.. It also didn't contain any news so it gave the impression SXC was standing still..
That's much the same as the two twitter feeds... I'm trying to get that under control as well, but my request for an "@sexcoin.info" email account to be setup has not born any result... I guess there's more important things taking place...
In the end I guess there's not much I can contribute to SXC, so I am reducing my involvement in the project with a view to leaving the development altogether.
This is specifically what I brought up pages and weeks ago but I was shot down by others here and Lavajumper himself. People seem to think developing backend is somehow going to get this coin adopted outside the mining/trading community surrounding this forum and the exchanges. You've got to step up and go out and get this coin advertised and talked about. I've seen no marketing(let along the aggressive marketing) needed to make this coin a success. My specific point was that this needs to be done alongside technical development not AFTER it. What good is a shiny new product if you can't even be bothered to promote it. Lack of advertising is where Altcoins go to die. +, too lazy to post my opinions, most of them in there, lol |

This coin is BROKEN basically because its NOT released based on its own "announced specification" even ! means difficulty re-target = 120 blocks, yet thousands of blocks got instamined in few minutes becoz the dev [team of devs, LOL] LIED about the real difficulty re-target number ! it NEVER adjusted the difficulty after 120 blocks as it was suppose to (according to their own specification), this is called a TOTAL FAIL in coding at best, & a poorly planned scam at worst. [Dev actively refused to re-launch [or even admit the HUGE mistake(?)] even after the obvious fail launch, that makes this a 100% Scam] I am not talkin about conspiracy theories here, these are NOT just opinions, These are simple facts that can be researched by anyone.Go read the blockchain, don't believe/trust me ! here is a brief of what is buried in the spams after launch : [not taking into account all the pre-launch lies from OP...] FAIL DIFF NOT INCREASING

I think that was one of the most drawn out launches I have seen in a while, and the instamine was pretty impressive orphaning everything else.
They are shamelessly fooling people by using words like "Veteran" to rob them out of their money. NO decent man here.

This may be the cause for a previous users losing nutcoins. be sure to use original link from this post or link from Nutcoin.com NOT NutcoinS.com.. So whats the launching diff? you fail to mention it in your OP and you obviously read my post about me hating on your coin so can you please tell us what the launching diff will be?
We are starting at a low difficulty, but doing what we can within these parameters to ensure that everyone who participates receives a fair amount of coin from SOLO and POOL mining, once pools are brought online. There really is no good reason to attack us as we are here for good reasons. Hope you'll be here to see this. You guys developed the coin, you must know the EXACT number of the diff at launch. My guess is 0.00024414. Just tell us the exact number. Its not that hard. If you guys were to launch at a high diff, knowing full well that this isn't 2012 and everyone has a 10mhash gpu farm aimed at this trashcoin, you wouldn't have to "do what we can within these parameters to ensure that everyone who participates receives a fair amount of coin". Premine + Instamine = Quick Buck Scam Devs. You guys make me sick. so whats the starting diff? You still haven't answered the question. and "a low diff" is not answer. an EXACT number is an answer.

I agree. What if a 100mh/s solo miner eats all the blocks @ 0.00024xxx diff? When there is an opportunity for farms to instamine crapcoins, it always happens. but Again, IF your intentions are true [& i am writing all this in the hope they are (!?!?)] : -with starting difficulty 0.00024414, so many problems still stand. -you should start with 1 USDE reward instead of 100. that still counts as instamine. [as it was proposed already] -The 10min solo window is totally non-sense ! Pools from start would be much more "fair" for "normal" people without 100mh/s farms. [an official pool (with DDOS protection) or just 10 different pools [hopefully with DDOS] ready to go at a higher difficulty] -why 120 blocks re-target ? & did you even change the default diff re-target algo or just cloned ? ~ peAce |
