21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POW][MN] ⚡️RESQChain⚡️ - The Devs have left the building on: September 11, 2018, 01:25:39 AM
Just a matter of time before this turd turns to mush and washes down the toilet.  Glad I didnt touch it!
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ETH can reach 1500 in this year?? on: September 11, 2018, 01:00:25 AM
OK Who is smoking the good stuff here?  You actually think ETH is going to be over a grand by the end of December? Not going to happen.  Its going to be lucky to be back near $400.  ETH by not forking has ruined itself.  People will run it up and down and milk every last bit of it before it finally falls into the same category as ZCash.  Just watch and see.
23  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Market Manipulation on: September 06, 2018, 12:49:50 AM
weak players give their money more strong is the nature of business and any market and so is our world

Nonsense.  A few thousand "weak hands"  that own well less than 1 BTC arent what is causing the market to be so destabilized.  BTC is currently down to $6,346 when it was just $7,300 yesterday.  What do you wanna bet Mt. Gox Trustee is dumping BTC onto the market!
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: At what price point people will stop mining? on: August 14, 2018, 07:18:15 PM
Im gonna mine some more ETH for when the jump back up happens but I predict that I will soon be focusing atleast 1 of my 3 mining rigs on mining new coins and accumulating alot of those for the future spikes.  If ETH/BTC doesnt go up substantially in the next 90 days then I will be shutting down atleast 1 if not 2 of my rigs until they do. Im right around .1/kwh

The last amd gpu 13th on this board always stays with overvoltage 1.00v no matter what i do, any workaround it?

Are you running ALL amd on the board or a mix?
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POW][MN] ⚡️RESQChain⚡️ - The Devs have left the building on: August 11, 2018, 03:40:17 AM
So how can this coin be mined without a wallet for it available? Wallet download doesnt work windows and it appears none of them are linked.  Oddly I show 6 on Gos pool mining this coin but how are they doing that without a wallet address?
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 13 GPU rig. Lessons learned (the hard-way) on: August 07, 2018, 10:54:06 PM
In the long run, stability will always win (I can't use smart plugs or "resetters" for this as I have frequent blackouts in my country and smart plugs or "resetters" DOES NOT turn back on after a blackout, they need a manual input), if you know a solution for this, please let me know.
I also highly advised using UPS when you turn this option on. As the Voltage is higher than usual after power outage. Could damage your components.

Huh Your Power Supply (PSU) For your motherboard/GPU's doesnt care how high or low your incoming power to your house is as long as its within a rather large window.  The PSU is a regulated power supply.  It will keep DC at 12vdc going to your GPU very close to 12vdc even if your incoming house power is at 240vac, 218vac and even up around 255vac.  The owners manual will tell you what the exact spec for your particular PSU is but its a wide window.  The PSU will shut itself down if the incoming is too low or high outside of its design specs.  UPS is not needed but nice to prevent bumps to the motherboard but useless in the sense that your GPU's arent on a backup so they could hangup, freeze or just totally throw up once power is restored. (You gonna put your motherboard on its own dedicated PSU?) Otherwise the GPU's will be drawing power from the PSU (Ultimately the UPS) when the power goes out and it aint gonna last long.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: B250 mining expert no bios, no signal to screen on: August 05, 2018, 07:46:27 PM
I agree sounds like OP just isnt connecting video up to the current settings.  Put a GPU in there and boot up. Wait 10mins. and then try plugging into GPU for video. If that doesnt work then reboot while hooked up to onboard video.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ASUS B250 Mining Expert MB - 19 Cards! on: July 06, 2018, 05:45:16 AM
So the maximum for AMD cards is 12? Can 12 be used + the integrated video also? That would be cool, then I'd just have to worry about hunting for the elusive p100-106's.

The P106's arent elusive. They are always on ebay just ridiculously priced just like all P series cards.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: B3 Owners - Let s make a class action against BITMAIN and BYTOM on: July 01, 2018, 06:25:58 AM
Let me get this right, The OP bought an asic from Bitmain and is now crying because he/she lost their rearend in the deal as far as mining payout.  Is that about it?

Bitmain warrantied the equipment.  They made no guarantees as to how much the ASIC would earn as far as the value of the coins it mined and how fast difficulty went up along with the amount of other asics on the network no matter who made them.

You played the game, you lost, move on.  Make better money decisions next time.

its all true.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ASUS B250 Mining Expert MB - 19 Cards! on: June 26, 2018, 08:33:01 PM
Huh? They never promised that we could run 19 regular gpu.
The bios update enabled use of 13 gpu of same brand.
13 gpu + 6 mining gpu

Same brand?  What are you talking about?

My Rig 2 has all Nvidia cards and they arent all the same brand or type.  (7) 1050 TI (2) 1080 (4) 1060   Theres MSI, Zotac, EVGA, Gigabyte all in there.  Its been running rock stable for 4 months now.

120gb ssd
G3920/30
8Gb ram
Use onboard video
850w and 750w Psu
65% TDP +150 +500 on most of the cards.
Draws 10-11 amps.

Yes. 13 nvidia or 13 amd.

I have 13 amd 570. Rig drawing total 1550w

My rig 1 (AMD) RX 580,570,560 isnt near as stable and ive got (4) 580 (1) 570 (3) 560 and it absolutely refuses to let me add another Amd card before throwing up all over itself.  So I have 3 nvidia  (2) 1050 TI (1) 1060 on it also.
Whats your trick for all AMD?

Strange. Have u installed newest bios?
I have 2 evga g2 1600 psu on each rig and all risers are powered with 6pin pci-e. 4gb ram, ssd etc.
All rigs are stable.
Im running a 10002 and 850w PSU using pcie to 6 pin on the risers. (Only 2 cards are on each sata power cable).  8gb ram, 120gb ssd.  Windows 10 pro latest update and latest update for Bios from Asus.
Mine just goes crazy in device manager when I add another card. I can only get 11 cards on rig 1 running somewhat stable.  When I add a 12th card (AMD 580) I get exclamation marks, hangups then eventually a BSOD.

I have been running 12 x 1070 for 7 months now, was just waiting for the promised bios update that never came.  I am looking to add more nvidia cards now, to my understand, the max / best I can add is 1 more gpu and 6 mining cards?  Like running 13 x 1070 and 6 x P104/ P106 ?  Would that work?  Thanks!

You can run (13) 1070's on the Mining Expert m/b.  If you have any problems just post here, PM me or create a new thread as to your symptoms.  You can run 6 P series cards too. Let me know where you find any that are cheap enough to buy!

I think to a certain extent Bitcoin is manipulated, but what else do you expect with this low volume? May be One day, we will have surely bigger volume and will not be so easy to be manipulated like now, but until that we can just see the whales. Don't forget that also many big institution enter/will enter this market, also Nasdaq will launch their exchanger next month, so more volume is coming.
Mt.Gox fact it is bad, and they don't care about the market price, they just want some money back selling this large quantity of btc left.
It aint Mt Gox Trustee...havent you heard the news?  http://bitcoinist.com/mt-gox-bitcoin-whale-trustee-wont-sell-btc/

"The key takeaway is that the Mt. Gox Trustee, Nobuaki Kobayashi, won’t sell any more bitcoin — at least for the foreseeable future until the creditors are reimbursed in bitcoin sometime early to mid-2019, according to Tokyo-based Bloomberg reporter Yuji Nakamura.‏"

better than cleaning up dust. Figure out why so much dust accumulation in the first place. Eliminate the problem first.

I know what my problem is... I live in between 2 cornfields and across the street from one too.  Then there is that my property deed say (Built in 1900) so my house is swiss cheese and has the efficiency of a steam engine powered by charcoal and lighter fluid.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to expand the number of PCIe devices on a Main Board? on: June 23, 2018, 02:29:05 AM
Thanks, remauto1187ma.  I will be more careful.  Please tell us how to increase the number of PCIe devices allowed by the UEFI.  To date, the only method known is to Disable all the devices not needed.  One real problem is that some MBs do not allow most devices to be disabled.  Perhaps you can tell us how to do this or recommend what to ask the MB Vendor to implement.  Thanks and enjoy, John.

Go into device manager and Disable them there or even uninstall the Drivers for them then Disable.  Dont forget to show hidden device under Device Manager then View Tab then Show Hidden Devices.  Remove all failed previous attempts of an install for GPU including the Audio Drivers that failed.   *HINT* Look for failed codes or exclamation points in device manager.

I am using a 1600W electronic air duster, works great for my rig.  Just remember to wear a mask when you clean it.

Mask is only needed if you are a sissy boy allergic to everything.  Tongue
