this bug is corrected on cgminer 4.x but scrypt support was remove since 3.7.2 version  so i don't know how to solve the bug [Edit] All is right now. Any reject since 4 hours very good job nicehashdev  |

I use the last git version of bfgminer (3.99.0) and i have lots reject with this error: Share above target.
I know that's a bug in cgminer 3.7.2 but is it normal that's the last bfgminer had the same error ?

Do you get 100% rejects or only some rejects? I have near 40% of rejects. I use this bfgminer with gridseed g-Blade Is your cgminer 3.7.2 modded remove the bug of 100% reject with the message "rejected share above target" ?? Because when I try the official cgminer 3.7.2 on your pool, I have this bug. Thank you very much to your help. |

without tweak in GC3355.c file BFGminer isn't ready to fully works with gridseed G-Blade,.
Bfgminer support the first gridseed(300Kh/s) but not completely the G-blade (5.5Mh/s).
The reason is first gridseed use 5 chips GC3355 on board, against 40 chips by board with the G-Blade.
I work on a patch but i'm not a guru programmer so actually my patch don't work very well.
I push it to github when it's done.

Ok that's recent this warning, i don't see it this week. But there are a big problem with the gridseed G-Blade. The only soft which is 100% compatible is fork from jmordica, all other have bug because G-Blade have 40 chip and not 5 I try to patch bfgminer to support 40 chip but i'm not good programmer and my patch don't work very well, pool detect 7,8Mh/s against 10,6Mh/s with the jmordica fork of cgminer. |

I have a problem with your cgminer with my G-Blade Gridseed (40 chip on board) .
On only one autoswitch pool (not all), when it switch to currency, all shares are reject with this error message:
share is above target rejected
I try to modify diff but i have the same problem.
To solve the problem i must switch to backup pool and when I switch again to the autoswitch pool, that works very fine until pool switch to currency.
Have you an idea to solve the problem ?

i just built my self a new linux box to run my 3 blades
and i have install ubuntu 13.10
i have installed cgminer and it runs the blades but i not get the top information on the screen all i get is this

You have a problem with your curses dev Library if you want top information you must install curses dev Library and compile cgminer with it. Optional: curl dev library http://curl.haxx.se/libcurl/ (libcurl4-openssl-dev - Must tell configure --disable-libcurl otherwise it will attempt to compile it in) curses dev library (libncurses5-dev or libpdcurses on WIN32 for text user interface) libudev dev library (libudev-dev) (This is only required for USB device support and is linux only) CGMiner specific configuration options: --without-curses Compile support for curses TUI (default enabled) |

Idea of new feature:
Do you add the merge paiment between scrypt, N-scrypt and SHA256 when you paid each 6 hours or merge balance one day ?
i think that's a good idea to seller on sha and n-scrypt where work and reward are less than scrypt.

Hi jmordica, did you plan to add griseed support to the recent cgminer 4.x version  That's a very great job to support gridseed on 3.7.2 but this version contains lot's of bugs with multi-pool autoswitch. The 4.x version resolve all bug but 4.x doesn't support gridseed Thank you very much |

Now with the new features to limit the hash power by job, miners are split onto few jobs, so it ccould be interesting to know on which job each miner works no ?

Hi, Your pool/concept is very amazing. I put all my miner on it (~10Mhs). But if you can solve the only problem that's will be perfect When your pool switch to job there is a disconnection with the stratum server, if you can remove this disconnection During 5-20 secondes rigs don't mining in order to reconenct the stratum server. |

Hi,
I just test Hashco.ws since a day, and I think I have a problem.
When pool switch to coin, my rigs lost connection and go to the backup pool and it switch to hashco.ws only after few minutes (~2minutes).
Is it normal ?
On other auto-switch pool, i didn't have any disconnect when they switch the coin.
my soft is configure to this server: stratum+tcp://stratum01.hashco.ws:8888

i just move from us to eu and reject will slash by 3
Actually during 30min, i have 0,4% reject on eu server.

Hi all,
I don't know if this help some other user but I think i have find a solution to slash the reject.
I use one rig of 4X R9 270 (not 270x !!!)
I just change two paramter from my config.
I move to sgminer 4.1.0-73-g80e6 from cgminer 3.7.2
I use the "alexkarnew" kernel
And now I slash my reject by 4, i have now 1-3% reject.
My theorical hashrate is a bit slower ~ -2% minus but my WU (~+5%) and my detect hashrate on the website are better.
Whats your kernel path? My sgminer seems to be using ckovilas kernel with the kernel path set to /usr/local/bin. I've moved the files out of the kernel folder and into the main sgminer folder and changed kernel path to "." Update: https://github.com/veox/sgminer/issues/49Removed the kernel path from the conf file and using -k zuikkis. Moved the kernel files from kernel/ to the sgminer folder. Now using zuikkis kernel. Kernal path is /usr/local/bin After compiling sgminer make install copy all kernel and soft to /usr/local/bin/ To R9 270, my config is: GPU engine: 1000 Mhz GPU Memory: 1500 Intensity: 17 vectors: 1 worksize: 256 thread-concurrency: 12992 shaders: 1280 gpu-threads: 1 |
