21  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KNCMiner Sell order# on: June 03, 2013, 08:29:24 PM
Can't believe this KNC preorder system this is just nuts, should have been a simple pay and get in line system.

Getting 180kh/s on 660 ti !  Grin

OC'd to 140+gpu, 796+mem and 122% power custom fan curve keeps it at about 70deg C

C:\cudaminer-2013-04-30\cudaminer.exe -l 70x2 -C 1 -m 1 -i 0 -o http://pool.give-me-ltc.com:80 -O user.1:pass

Not worth the stress on the card, 30 days non-stop only $25...

Thanks for the help though, if it were not my main card I might run it 24/7

Very likely after they get their funds out of LR if thats even possible. Since its a US govt op I'm betting not.

It will take time for people to switch and learn bitcoin.

Well this sucks I've been keeping an eye on KNC waiting to order early to get a good place in line. Now I come to find out that preorder has been on the whole time? All I had to do was fill out that form and I missed an early place in line as I didn't think It was getting in line... Really bummed now.

How are they making a line without taking money?

How have you been keeping an eye on KNC if you haven't been to their site and read anything?! It's clearly explained on their product pages, and in this thread the entire time, which they've updated...

On top of which you had to register for the newsletter that keeps you abreast of any further info.

Yea I was keeping an eye on it and misunderstood 'getting in line' to registering. Its my bad but it should have been more clear like "place an order to get in line". I went off the first post here saying there where no orders being taken, that it was just registering interest. I was waiting for them to start taking money and was not the only one who was thinking along the same line.

It's going to be interesting to see how this line works since no money was taken and an order can mean 1 or 100 units or more. I'm guessing KNC's statement that 1-500 will be shipped in the first month is not realistic. Again each order is unlimited. Looks like those whom are in the first 500 are going to be the KNC kings able to distribute all KNC products to the rest of us who didn't figure out this system.

BTW anyone want to sell me a low position? If you used an email account you don't care about when purchasing you could sell it to me...  $50 or make offer.

I was logged in and it did not show up in my accounts order history.

This is a train wreck in slow motion, you can't have a line if people have not paid for a specific product. Look at the first post here by them, WHAT I THOUGHT WAS THE DEAL!

Hi everybody,

We are Swedish miners that are producing our own ASIC miners to strengthen the market and avoid monopoly.
Our company kncminer is pleased to announce the opening of a brand new web shop dedicated to the online sale of Bitcoin hardware to the international community, www.kncminer.com.

A lot of scam sites are appearing every day and we are not one of them, therefore we will not take any orders and are only registering interest.

We will in the upcoming weeks opening our order book to allow the purchase of our first set of ASIC miners. They are in the early stages of development now and will be ready in the summer of 2013 (yes in just a few months)
Register an account now it’s completely free and if you subscribe to our newsletter we will alert you the moment we open the order books for entry and other information around the ASIC products.
If you have any questions we will be happy to answer them.

Happy mining

"therefore we will not take any orders and are only registering interest."

"We will in the upcoming weeks opening our order book to allow the purchase of our first set of ASIC miners."

The whole purchase thing was what I was waiting for! Stupid I know to go off what they wrote waiting to buy one to secure a place in line. Registering interest now we find out means securing a place in line?!? Mad  Angry

I placed an order for the Jupiter http://www.kncminer.com/products/jupiter just click preorder and fill out their silly little form and get a place next to me lol

I can't believe I screwed up this bad, a difference of like 6 months i'll bet to receive it. I subscribed to their newsletter 4/09/2013 not knowing there was line being formed, had I...
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: May 23, 2013, 05:28:52 AM
SOOO... I got a 39xx order number I guess I'm screwed now DAMMIT!! really mad at myself that I didn't do this weeks ago thought I had to wait! I hope they don't then want me to pay at the same time as 1-500 people that would be some BULL CRAP! I'll bet I'm going to receive next year sometime If I'm lucky.

I can't put $7000 on a card then have to wait 6 months plus for it, I don't know if this is even going to be an option for me now.

Zerocoin is going to be essential as bitcoin goes mainstream and government gets what it wants, control.

32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Warrant against Dwolla and Bitcoin: The Beginning of the End of Bitcoin on: May 15, 2013, 06:23:54 PM
Beginning of the End of MTGOX!!

Bitcoin is fine and trading has not been adversely effected today, the market doesn't care much I take it.

Bitcoin will survive even if we have to exchange face to face at coffee shops!!
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Here is the Seizure Warrant on: May 15, 2013, 05:53:44 PM
Mt.Gox is going to have to prove no USD actually moved from USA to Japan when a customer put money in / took money out. If this is not the case or they can't prove it they are in trouble.
The other issue is bitcoin and if the govt is going to try to call it currency.

I'll bet the leadership is kicking themselves right now they didn't follow through selling North American Ops to coinlab... Could have avoided the US govt's nonsense and saved $50 million +

Beginning of the end for Gox?

35  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: updated cpu miner on: May 15, 2013, 05:37:25 PM
CPU for bitcoin? are you just playing with mining or trying to make money? As CPU is obsolete in bitcoin mining I mean it will work but your going to pay more in electricy bills. Check out litecoin or the other altcoins for CPU mining.

bitminter.com is java based and new. There are a lot that have been updated, check out the most popular.

Looks like we're going to need a lot of lawyers getting bitcoin established without making many of us political prisoners.

If you thought the IRS going after the Tea party was bad just wait till your IRS agent gets a whiff your into bitcoin...
