Ever since getting into crypto I have had numerous attempts to hack my accounts. Stupidly I used a really old password when signing up for something. Over night they had attempted to use that with numerous websites/accounts, got lucky with ebay (which i hadnt used in years), got my card details that were stored in ebay and went to town buying XXL cashmere womens tights and amarni sweat shirts, and changed my account into russian with the caption "fuck you bitch this is Russia" in my detail section. Becareful, don't reuse passwords.
It will definitely be used as a store of value as it is the largest trading pair. It is also the most recognized cryptocurrency, so for now (and probably a while to come) it will remain king
It’s funny that the prices in the original post are almost the same as today after this brutal market. Just think of it as being able to see into the future. Check out the website, team? What have they done before? What’s the community like? Join the social media groups and discord, chat to other people and ideally the team. What does the project offer? Is there a white paper? Has it pumped before? How many exchanges is it on? All good questions to ask
Well done to everyone that was holding it. Everyone is still left wondering if ripple is going to be added, would seem to make more sense. Be interesting to know what the criteria the Coinbase team use when deciding
An interesting thing to do is look at the google trend data for cryptocurrency terms like “how to buy bitcoin” etc. compare that data with what it was like in 2017, especially around December. Right now there is hardly any retail interest, too many people got burnt. Once the hype comes back, which it will, it will kick off like nothing we have seen so far. It will put 2017 to shame. Don’t forget, I’m this down time, so much development has gone into the framework to allow mass amounts of new comers into the market. Exchanges literally couldn’t take anymore customers at one point
