someone once compared investing in the stock market as gambling.The only difference is that you reduce your odds of losing with a good market research and timely information.Same came be said of bitcoins.If you buy bitcoins and sell at every dips or market downturn, one will always a sore loser.The market always recovers-if you wait long enough.So selling wasn't the best option in humble opinion.

The price of all altcoins is directly correlated to bitcoins, if bitcoins falls/rise, all other altcoins will also fall/rise. If we do not have bitcoin in the future,chances are high that the value of altcoins will be zero or close to zero.

I am sure you will get tons of advise on this and may even get private message that you send the money over them so they invest it for you.your best bet is to do some personal research and pick coins of interest to you and then you HODL till then.Almost any coin on coinmarketcap is doing less than 50 per cent of their usual value,so it is easier to pick a coin,I am sure the market will recover soon enough.I am not saying you take my word for it ,SNT (Status) was about 0.06$ from about half a dollar.It is among the top coins and a huge community.Spread the cash on different coins to reduce your risk

Always do your own research before making a decision to sell or buy any coin.In my own opinion, it is easier for altcoins to grow in value that for bitcoin to do same.For example, an altcoin of say 10 cents can easily move to 1 dollar or more in just one month,it will be very difficult and unlikely for bitcoin to do same.It already has a large market cap.My suggestion is that you stick to altcoins,make sure it is one that has good potentials for growth,not some shit coins
