21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SPC][PoF] SaveCoin | Proof of Fund Coin | 64% Interest Annually / 0.137% Daily on: June 10, 2014, 04:42:23 PM
As people can probably tell by the increased diff the past few days, mining has definitely picked up on SPC.
http://tompool.org/ added the coin, and it's added to their sha multipool now, so that's around 10THs being added fairly regularly to the network hashrate.

Could you guys also look at the vardiff settings? I really don't see how my 35 BE's need to be at 64 or 128 diff, especially on the low diff/fast block time coins.
Think this is having the largest impact on my efficiency, I really don't see how that worker with those should ever get beyond 32 diff.

You really need to look at your TAG wallet/pool also, looks like it's forked yet again. It's not fun mining for hours to have a block go orphan at over 15 confirms in...

Cube received and hashing happily away.

BTW, really appreciate you using signature confirmation on the shipping, means they actually have to knock on the door rather than just shoving it on the porch, heh.

Yeah I spent over 4 hours on phone/hold between 800 number and talking to local post offices trying to figure out what they had going on with it.

Blade ordered and shipped saturday finally got here today, after the post office sorting center sent to wrong location and they sent it around and around before they finally sent it to a sorting center that got it to the local post office and then here.
Guess they haven't gotten geared up for the holiday shipping rush just yet, lol.

let hope mine is so lucky too..... after 2 hours on the phone with USPS.... they have no idea where the package is, or when /if it will ever get here.....

SSB make sure you get a refund for that shipping fee!   they have failed for sure!

Any issues with withdrawals that  you know about ? I'm think Cryptsy is broke again.

Yes, think the significant volume of trades has their db server so overwhelmed it's just now catching up about 24h later, and most of my deposits still haven't come in, let alone actually show as incoming on there yet.
29  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Massive Sell Off- Crash or Correction? on: December 07, 2013, 09:41:14 AM
I think it was a speculative sell-off myself, related to the Chinese commentaries. And I do think that it was, at the same time, a manipulative effort on some people's parts. The way I see it is that there's actually quite a large interest in BTC and other cryptocurrencies in China, which their government doesn't like, just like the FTC doesn't particularly like it here in the US because they don't like that they're not in control of it the way they are the banks themselves. I think it's just another reaction like the Great Firewall of China, myself, when it comes down to it.

Edit: it did however really make it almost impossible to deal with the alt exchanges today, like Cryptsy, and made it darned near impossible to do anything on there with the flood of activity. I still have transactions still coming in from deposits sent like 12+ hours ago now, and there are still several that haven't shown up even on the pending list yet.
