Where should I buy my bitcoin with cheapest fee possible?  Huh

Thank you.

Prefer to trade on purchase on a platform.

If you are not able to buy by p2p
There are many ways, for example
coinbase
payeer bank
localbitcoins
You will find that the fees are higher than the purchaseby  p2p
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain study on: April 17, 2019, 11:17:45 PM
Hi !

I have to study the short, medium and long-term application of the blockchain within the financial sector for my thesis. My professor gave me this topic and I liked it so I said yes. I am thinking about studying who's really working on implementing the blockchain to see if it's just a buzzword or if the majority of the companies are really investing in it and not only talking about it and about their ideas by searching on the internet informations for example. And getting in touch with different companies. I'll be doing my internship at EY next year so I'll try to get the opportunity to have information too. And PWC has already done this type of research so I thought I could also compare a little bit my results by the end of my research.

I don't know if it's a good idea for the empirical part of my thesis so I wanted to know what do you think about it Huh
And if you have other idea please let me know beacause I am a bit lost.

I'm also new here so I don't know if it's the good place to ask my question. I'm sorry if it's not  Undecided

Thank you !

PS : I'm also sorry for my english, I'm not a native speaker ^^

You are welcome at any time and you are already in the right place
through the forum you will find out a lot of important information for your thesis
direct contact with the most experienced members here will benefit you regarding the uses of blockchain.
I see that guys provide you with many important links and I personally am interested in the applications of blockchain in financial services and the health sector
good luck. Smiley

After all, we still want some improvement and some option for us to pay in some grocery stores or department stores that accepting cards right? And do you think this is helpful?

The bitcoin debit card will be a much needed
development to facilitate currency trading but the important question
What will you do with a third party controlling your currencies?

Grin

29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UK Firm Corporate Traveller now accepts Bitcoin Payments on: April 17, 2019, 10:16:28 PM
Link: https://www.coinmarketfeed.com/bitcoin-news/uk-firm-corporate-traveller-now-accepts-bitcoin-payments-

Corporate Traveller, the largest travel management firm in the United Kingdom has now started accepting Bitcoin (BTC) for payments. The news was announced by a press release on April 15.

The firm has also partnered with BitPay for making crypto payments possible. Andy Hegley, U.K. General Manager at Corporate Traveller said:

“We identified an increasing demand from our clients for the option to pay in bitcoin for business travel bookings made by our travel consultants. We chose BitPay to manage our merchant processing because they make it easy and handle the entire process of getting the Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash from the customer and depositing cash into our account.”

I love this news and it is take us all to right way (global adption)
It is a large company with a huge business volume and has several international clients and different incomes levels
I hope btc is the best option for them to spread the idea strongly.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren Buffet statement again on: April 17, 2019, 09:51:08 PM
At the end of last February, Warren made a sensation again by saying that BTC was only a Delusion. He also said that BTC does not have a unique value, BTC cannot make a profit.

Warren Buffet always praised blockchain technology, but he never praised BTC. I think he is not objective.

but on the other hand, the Warren Buffet company has a large loss of $ 4.3 billion. I don't like this person, he always has a bad statement to make the crypto market fall.

I read some of Warren Buffett's views but did not understand his motives or justifications
It also has negative views on gold as a non-productive asset
he tilted to the stock is if its price  is good
through this information I can say that he is talking about guessing and not the opinion of economist warren Buffett
however, this has a negative effect on btc even if it is limited.

35  Economy / Speculation / Re: Paypal Board Member: Bitcoin May Grow 250x on: April 14, 2019, 11:21:13 PM
Wences Casares, the CEO of Xapo and board member of Paypal, believes there is a 50% chance that bitcoin will succeed, causing the leading cryptocurrency to rise 250x in price from where it is today. Doing some math, this equates to $1.25 million per bitcoin. I'm not sure if this is a realistic figure, but it seems to be one of the most bullish calls in some time.

https://www.newsbtc.com/2019/04/14/paypal-board-member-bitcoin-btc-value-may-surge-by-250x-if-it-succeeds/

I am very concerned when I read such comments
whether Wences Casares or John McAfee or anyone who publishes such exaggerations, is causing a state of unreliability
btc will not spread with the exaggerated.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What motivated you to get into Bitcoin and Blockchain in general? on: April 14, 2019, 11:08:32 PM
When you got into Bitcoin and Blockchain in general, it wasn't just a coincidence. Given how popular cryptocurrencies have become, most people have adopted them at a large scale. Which is why, joining this endless journey into Blockchain must've been for a good reason.

As for me, I was hesitant to join this revolutionary trend largely in part because I thought that it was a scam. After a few years later, I'm now enlightened and know the true power of Blockchain. It is that power that has motivated me to keep going on this wonderful journey, despite the ups and downs of crypto. I believe that it will transform our economy in many ways where we won't need to deal with physical hard cash anymore.

Nonetheless, what was your real motivation to get into Bitcoin and Blockchain in general? Smiley

The real motivation for my entry into the world of btc and blockchain is profit
But as I passed I had other goals and interests besides profit
I was astounded  by the idea of financial freedom and the escape of bank control.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: AT THE END, ONLY YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOURSELF on: April 14, 2019, 10:58:24 PM
We have seen how some world class investors and economic pundits and some big banks have criticized the BITCOIN calling it a bubble without any underlying value but a merely speculation and a Pyramid Scheme. We all know they had to adopt this FUD strategy in order to protect their malicious empire and ensure their continues control over the people's sovereign wealth through policy manipulation, they see this new technology as a big threat to their bad practice. Instead of telling the people the truth, they praise the blockchain and publicly denounce the bitcoin.

                                                            WHAT IF?
What if men like Warren Buffet makes a U-turn and praises the bitcoin that he had not fully study it and understood it during the times he did criticized it? that during those years of his criticism, he had bought some bitcoin through a third party and kept same, just to be sure of the direction. What will his disciples that all believed him do when the bitcoin might have already hit $250,000 by year 2020. Oh boy, they just can't help but have themselves to blame, since he didn't tell them under duress never to buy the bitcoin. At the end when we listen to expert on every issue and they later turn out not to be 100% right, our simply take responsibility for allowing someone else think for us. Wisely choose your destiny.

It's no longer a question
is bitcoin a successful technology and will benefit humanity or not?
but the question has become
how to prevent or delay adoption until we arrange our papers and we are controlling
that is how anti-bitcoin thinkers are thinking now
so I agree with in that the person must rely on himself to make his decision
because negative publicity as well as positive may mislead.
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can We Find Satoshi? on: April 13, 2019, 11:26:15 PM
While I was just reading the conversations about Satoshi in another post, a question stuck in my mind

We know that with Genesis Block, Satoshi revealed the first Bitcoins. And from that day on, the blockchain network began to work actively. Satoshi disappeared after a while. (I don't think he'll be back) He left behind a great legacy. But if all the blocks are actually viewable from the past today, somehow, since all the transactions have been followed since the first blocks, couldn't Satoshi be found?

I'm not talking about a simple thing, I know. But if you think that the first mining started with Satoshi and he didn't change a lot of wallets, it seems to me that the wallet can be traced. And either the first blocks after the first Satoshi disappeared could give us some clues.

Wallets known to be Satoshi can also be followed, for example I'm sure they will give you a few hints. (All these conversations, valid only if he is still alive, of course!)

I do not really understand what value would be if we knew who Satoshi was?
I see that the knowledge provided by Satoshi is the true treasure that must occupy us and complete guy's path and achieve the main goals of ecrypto as a whole Of financial freedom that have  got rid us from the strict and central constraints that control the current financial system which proved to be a failure.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the SEC creating secret law for crypto? on: April 13, 2019, 11:05:02 PM
Worth to read. Some true about SEC and  how SEC is creating legislation for cryptocurrency industry

SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce worries that the SEC’s opacity—and lack of accountability—might be creating a “fatal competitive disadvantage” for startups.

The SEC has secrets. And those secrets might be shaping the way cryptocurrency and blockchain companies do business.

https://decryptmedia.com/6503/sec-secret-law-crypto-hester-peirce

My answer is that USA is not whole world and will be not
It is all corporation frozen America

Regardless of the secrets of The SEC
As a general rule (nothing can be permanently hidden)
Personally, I began to feel weary about the SEC
Although it is important, but I think that crypto is able to continue without it
In the future, the SEC will enter the world of encryption if its final decision is rejected.
