21  Bitcoin / Project Development / Vector rendering mining on: June 13, 2011, 07:48:51 AM
Hi I was a graphic art creator.

I want to use the bitcoin network computer power to render file's (rendering frames for a movie)

I had classes where I had to create movies in cinema4d and the end result was a vector file of 8MB to start, 5hour rendering with my supper computer and the end result 1min  of movie and an avi file of 1GB.

What I want to say is like my teacher makes publicity video's and sometimes he needs to let their PC work for 3 weeks - 3 months to calculate the end result.

And I thought the bitcoin network is stronger and can help with this.

How will it work:

- You join a mine
- That mine gives you the order to render frame 1 an other computer frame 2,...
- you store it on your hard drive of all your frames (1, 93, 128, 222,...)
Then when the network is done calculating then you all send it to the server starting from frame 1 then 2
- at the time of the uploading you can mine a bit more.

The one who want his files rendered will buy bitcoins at the market and then give it to the mine and that way to the miners...

Advantages:

- New ways to mine for bitcoins
- The new people to this project will benefit most, cause the big mining installations will have a to slow internet speed compared to their mining rigs power to upload the frame's

I also believe that cinema4d support the rendering by multiple computers or something?

Do you understand it, any questions, idea's?

But anyway I'm to stupid to be capable of setting this up. That's way I give my idea away to the bitcoin network.
When there is a mine, company created that work like this then I want the have a share in it. (20% or something)

Also say it when you have donated cause I want to know if it works having multiple addresses, but not having this one currently selected.

Well I got myself a plan for bitcoin.

I will mine and mine only and for every 3 bitcoins mined I will sell 1 at the current exchange rate. This way I will try to get my cash out and still have bitcoins left in case it does get higher or gets an other speculators peak.

You can call it. accumulative selling

I will also buy one ati 5870 extra this way getting my computer capacity at 66% wich is good enough cause at 100% the card would sit to close to each other witch will make sure that the one above just sucks the head of the one below in and I don't want that.

Have you putted a -v in your .bat file code? Cause it sure helped me gave me 60Mhash extra on the spot

Have you already looked how many pins of power the 6970 has. Cause I know the 5870 has 6 pin but there are other, stronger, card who need 8 pin connection and it might be that you putted a 6 into something that needs 8 to power up.

I personally believe that the price is a bit high and like you said all the speculators are already in with their money. We need to get more drug users to come and use bitcoin.

Not that I am one, but I just know that it gets used a lot for this.

I see the Bitcoin with a stable price of 22$-25$ for now.

Thanks for the reply's.

at the end the problem was the BIC code. I had to remove the spaces there.
27  Economy / Trading Discussion / Can't withdraw on MT Gox on: June 09, 2011, 03:40:18 PM
Hi I'm quit new to this bitcoin concept and I'm currently testing stuff out.

I just sold 1 BTC today at MT Gox and now want to withdraw it to my bank account in Belgium, but they keep saying that I filled stuff in wrongly wich I didn't

All data is correct and still I get that message. I want my money. I take the option US Dollars to Euro currency (SEPA zone)

Anyone els had the same problem? Is there something I need to know why I is possible it isn't working?

Thanks.

I only have ccc version 11.5 and didn't install anything else and it will work fine.
11.5 has an opencl integrated in it's software so you really don't need to download anything new.

Now cause your new I'll give you a hand.

This is one of the best youtube video"s to get started.

also my code of the .bat file that you have to create I putted something extra wish increased my hash rate with 65Mh/s

start /DC:\poclbm poclbm.exe --frames 30 --worksize 256 -v -w128 --host=deepbit.net --port=8332 --user=yourusername --pass=yourpassword --device=0

This code works perfectly if you follow the youtube video.
