OK
Just so people keep it in perspective. This time last night, Doge was down lower than it is now. I was buying them for as little as 65 satoshi. At one point this evening (5pm EST I think) they were almost at 250 satoshi. Make money off panic sellers. Be wary of people claiming the doge is dead with less than 25 posts, and the majority of those posts are about how terrible Doge is. Public service announcement over.

how far will doge crash after the dump today, i wonder
Right now, on Cryptsy: 0.00000180 Last night on Cryptsy: 0.00000035 It comes back up to this level between 150 - 220. It seems to be stabilizing over the last few hours. Remember the Doge was meant to be fun, so treat it as fun and mine and sell.

The number of threads about DOGE coins as well as the number of threads promising DOGE coins and not delivering is getting old. Lets not forget the people that beg for pool miners, but cannot support them.
Good times!

Chrome translated this for me Portal dcgcrew.com reported that the observation of various groups of IRC, 4chan, and many Chinese kryptowalutowych newsgroups that something interesting is happening around Dogecoina. As is clear from yesterday's currently the Chinese People's Bank, financial institutions got a ban on trade with exchanges BTC, but it is not known whether other kryptowalut also prohibited. If not, you may find that soon will be a massive buying other kryptowalut, which Dogecoin may be the most interesting option for speculators. Cited portal says that if Chinese speculators (called Wenzhou Investment Group) decide to pumping Dogecoina its value can reach 0.01 cents per 1 doge which gave to us 3000zł for 100 000 doge.

Hi! Have strange issue with http://gme.crypto-expert.com when I try cpuminer, pool show correct speed and earnings. When I use cgminer with AMD 7870 my miner show 320 KH/s, but pool show 0.061KH/s Whats wrong? I use cgminer.exe --scrypt -u myuser.1 -p x -s 1 --queue 0 --expiry 1 -o http://crypto-expert.com:3337 --gpu-platform 0 -d 0 -w 256 -v 1 -I 18 -g 4 -l 1 --shaders 1280 --thread-concurrency 4800 Maybe someone had same results with that pool? Thanks! If you are still having issues, I would jump onto the IRC they have set up for the page. The guys running helped me out and answered my questions right away.

Myriad? Seriously? Jesus, get some perspective. I agree it was suspicious timing with the pool going down, but if the coin had been instamine-raped there would be 5000 blocks (or more) gone, not 458. That says the algo diff adjustment works to keep it stable, even if eventually a big multipool jumps on.
Is that better? You new guys just scream "scam" at every little thing, relax and mine something else already. You can make 0.08 BTC/MH on APC right now, much better than speculating on this.
When did I say scam? All I said was to be wary. Is everyone so melodramatic on this board?

You don't have to be an expert to see the myriad of the problems. If you were launching a coin, wouldn't you want a presence on the forums that you announced it on, especially with the troubles the "official pool" was having. Nice troll post though.

Is pool still down?
No, it is back up. My big concern is that the pool went down right before the blocks stopped being one coin each, and was down for several hours. The pool has mined roughly 153 of the 437 blocks. On top of that there has been very little activity from the coins backer, I would be wary of investing too much time in this.

What does the red text mean, anyone know?  { "blocks" : 323, "currentblocksize" : 1000, "currentblocktx" : 0, "difficulty" : 1.59409890, "errors" : "", "generate" : false, "genproclimit" : -1, "hashespersec" : 0, "networkhashps" : 19975014, "pooledtx" : 0, "testnet" : false }

Even though the pool is down, the blocks are still being mined... odd.

Great idea! Gamers can earn coins while they're sleeping, then buy game products without having to purchase BTC. Lots of luck with this coin, still under 300 blocks, so fair launch all the way.
Have any nodes? My client locks up when trying to sync...
I was able to end task wit hthe task manager and relaunch and it started synching again.
