The miners would have taken interest in bitcoins though there are some miners who are attracted by bcc but bitcoin has survived so far and i am with bitcoin. Bitcoin will surely grow and the price will hike up. I use bitcoin as a currency now because I use it to pay my bills and other expenses but I still need to convert it to fiat to pay for those because they don't accept bitcoin as payment directly and they don't even know what it is so I have no choice but to convert it.I for instance don't have any plans of selling yet and so I'm holding my tokens for as long as I can and so to me it is an asset at the moment but when I decide to spend it will be my currency.
