Wow, Alley, who knew this thread was going to go for this long. You still buying? I was up over 100 btc, but I have been buying Casascius coins, so not anymore. I think they make it harder for me to spend some of my saved BTC, or as some incorrectly call it "Hoarded" BTC.

I would be interested. But I think it would only work if it was for the NEXT generation of equipment, or if the project was at REALLY attractive pricing(easy to get a large hashing power cheap), and it all happened soon. To deal with building an Avalon II, or AntMiner generation "chipped" board would not be worth anyone's time.

Just started looking into this stuff. Pretty interesting, and could be a nice little hobby mining. I have a laptop mining with a video card(I know pathetic) but just needed to start somewhere and see what it took to get this stuff up and running. I heard about this bitcoin stuff awhile back, and thought about checking it out, now seen more stuff and found this Forum(I am on many car forums for the information there) Hope to Gleen some good bits here too.
