idcray doesn't work bunch of fools. EVery single share is rejected, just a few miners in the pool get all the coins. This is incredibly bad launch. A scam pool as a cherry on the cake.
Well, then you have done something wrong. My miner works and I'm not the first one to register and I'm not the biggest miner.
Could you please send me a pool invite since you are in? Smiley

Hope Im not being obsolete but,
South Islander here with a mere 3x 5970s running with some funds and desire to somehow invest in a local co-op.

Hey, I just want our name on the board.
If we can't make a meet this year maybe we can do a web hookup or at least discuss and promote the growing volume of businesses as well as private sellers here who accept BTC. /LTC
pm. me with thoughts.

Promoting crypto currency is my main endeavour. Supporting businesses that accept is important and personally using my BTC to buy goods here has to be the only way to prevail. Also to offer advice helping younger geeks to mine cryptos with their PCs

Telling the Bros, I had my computer turned on for 2 days and it bought us a crate!
Choice!

It is physically impossible to build a transistor smaller than an atom. So yes, Moore's law is going to stop.

For now, our understanding of physics said it would be impossible.

Ahh the Physics barrier in in 2013 just as the Flat earth theory pre Pythagoras is sure to crumble.
We are all vibrations in an infinitesimal string, all that can happen will happen and has happened Tongue
29  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BEWARE: Cryptsy is a Scam and will eventually shut down and hold balances on: December 16, 2013, 08:34:37 AM
I don't think they are a deliberate scam.
Ive lost coins three times in the past two weeks and after politely using the support ticket and not spamming them, accounts were put back in order.
That being said, It makes for piss poor day trading (cancel an order and you crash the server). They really need some decent programmers in there.
Ive withdrawn my funds successfully yet Ive not given up hope for these guys in the future.
30  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: What Else Could You do With Mining Hardware? on: December 16, 2013, 05:02:46 AM
This is a very interesting question, lets suppose that the KnC becomes obsolete for mining purposes.
What will happen to all these rigs? They will probably follow the Beta-Max to the scrapheap unless some other ingenious use is invented for them.
That being said, with Moore's Law still holding true I see them going to the scrap heap.
(Quantum computing is indeed a reality)

Not much of a forum poster here,.. more of a lurker.
Of all the missed opportunities I've watched stroll past in my life, this will not be one of them.
The more I read about cryptocurrency, the more excited I get. The potential it has if \ once the world fully catches on and adopts it will be astounding.
Trying to spread the word about this to everyone I know and all I get are strange looks. Hopefully lurking out here and throwing in a post once in a while will help me better explain to family and friends how big this really is..
Thanks everyone,

You echo my situation. Tend to lurk and learn what I can but usually not a lot of input. I am telling everyone who will listen about cryptos, but my enthusiasm isn't as contagious as I thought.

I too have been a lurker hear for nearly a year, mined a few BTC in late 2012 and sold them for a $250 camera. OMG! (but at least I didnt buy the $250,000 pizza)
To my point... Enthusiasm IS contagious! I posted a comment on twitter about Fastcoin and one more on an IRC pump forum and 12hours later there was a massive 200% pump in FSC (I got out at 140%) it may have been coincidence but I believe in "Chinese whispers" now

Ive been a lurker here for about a year but have just found out its a wee bit more difficult to post than your usual forum.
"Due to a mass of trolling, only established posters are able to post in non-newbie sections. You are considered "established" if you have made one post and then waited 4 hours. This post must be substantial: at least several sentences."
It seems that this is X5 NOW, 5 posts in newb section with a wait of 4 hours in-between.

" - Newbies cannot upload their own avatars. - You must have made one post in order to send PMs. - You need 10 posts to put a link in your signature.

It may take up to 10 minutes for your PM or posting permissions to be granted. (The system automatically checks every 10 minutes and promotes people as appropriate.)"
