21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KURT] KURRENT - First Zerocoin that uses X11 algorithm on: November 24, 2016, 05:40:28 PM
there was a bonus block hit at block 844 (x100 times):

2016-11-24 17:36:58 >> cseed = dc778f9, random = 93459
2016-11-24 17:36:58 >> bonus block is hit
2016-11-24 17:36:58 AcceptBlock() : good bonus block reward tx

the bonus part (x99) was paid in block 845. Like the pool got it. Congrats to whoever got this bonus block!

Suprnova is updated and the stuck block has been found already.

Thanks a lot to Suprnova pool for the very quick update. Smiley

Code:
2016-11-24 04:07:52 ERROR: AcceptBlock() : missing bonus block reward tx
2016-11-24 04:07:52 ERROR: ProcessBlock() : AcceptBlock FAILED

no blocks for an hour, is this the cause?

where do you see this error? This is weird as block 473 is not even a bonus block... someone tried to hack the blockchain?

it is the daemon output, when unomp tries to submit a block.

Don't know why it is blocked there and why you see this message. If it is not a bonus block, you will never go to this place. It looks like the blockchain is blocked at block 473, what we can do is to blacklist this block hash, and re-calculate the block, it should go from there. But this will require a hard-fork.

problems in your makefile dev.

me@pools:/home/coins/Kurrent/src/leveldb# cd ..
me@pools:/home/coins/Kurrent/src# make -f makefile.unix USE_PNP=-
make: *** No rule to make target `obj/auxpow.o', needed by `Kurrentd'. Stop.

Huh

remove obj/auxpow.o in the makefile, and make again. This file is deleted (it was used for mining a few protocol at the same time - it is not used in this coin).

Bored waiting for an x11 I see  Grin

5% premine of 11.4 million KURT is equal to 111046 blocks (assuming average block payout of 102.66 accounting for a daily superblock)

111046 blocks will take 77 days to mine. So crush this with miners for about 2.5 months and congrats the mined supply that EVERYONE mined together will be equal to what the dev premined.

If I mine this it will be several months from now when nethash is at a crawl (if the dev is still around).

I guess if you don't like it then don't mine it.

Many shitty coins do ICOs, and this one with new ideas does only a small premine in order to sustain and develop the coin (and for bounties), I see nothing wrong there. I'd prefer a premine and dev continue to develop the coin, than some coins do ICOs, grab the BTCs, then do nothing.

Everyone hope that dev can do work for free, and they just come and mine and make money, there's no such things in this domain. Look at ZcashDarkcoin, they said no premine no ICO? what has happened? lol Grin

Network stuck @ block 120.

Why it is stuck? network seems running, need to wait a little I guess?

Network not stuck, I see it is at block 123 now.

32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SUPERCOIN] Unique Most Advanced Anonymous Trustless Multisig Technology on: November 22, 2014, 06:21:02 PM
yeah, i know, my initial review when i drew the diagram out on paper and made my first diagnostic of the coin was pretty far off, i made some looping mistakes and thought it was burning off coins by moving them around a lot. but the mixers didnt have the loop i thought they had and this turned out to be not true. that was so bad lol. so yes, i can admit when i thought there were loops in the mixers in this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=736705.msg9605259#msg9605259 i was wrong. i admit that.

the second part was fine though. you can, as the code is right now, find the sender and receiver of the supersend transactions as i corrected myself in this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=736705.msg9615638#msg9615638 and that is completely correct

For the second part, you've pieced together the sender/receiver by their tx amount. That is called "guessing".
There is no way to be 100% certain that the "guess" you made is correct even if it looks so obvious & matching.
Hence this is still by definition "anonymous" as your method lacks incontrovertible proof of the sender & receiver.

In saying that, yes, the "guess" may be good enough for some and bad enough for those who use it.
At least the method on how this can be improved is already known. (Using canonical values etc.)

At the end of the day, I am happy to support Griffith or any other reputable users here who will continue Supercoin. Grin

for all altcoins anonymous, you can make the same guess, sometimes right, sometimes wrong, it does not mean much.

well, who got the 30+ BTCs? Why not you return it to C-Cex? To prove that you are innocent

Hey guys, I was busy last 2-3 days, what happened in those 3 days.
Why price reduce to half, did anyone dump or what.
BTC prices dropped too much low. This made people panic. But i think it will ok.

Nah, it's just an excuse, we all know altcoins movement not related to bitcoin movement.
There were some bag holder who decide to sold at right time.

traders make most of the trades in altcoin world...

Yup, Altcoins trading is one of the riskiest trading, you can multiple your earning many times in some day.
Or you will lost your earning 90-99% in someday if coin was scammed.

That is why when we select altcoin we have to must research before trading altcoins.

Yes or the competitors fud the coin. Supercoin's recent downturn was initiated by some big fuds (nothing is reality) from some nasty coins. What they claimed all wrong, and dev posted Q&A to clarfy all the issues raised.

Because we are expanding we will be criticized more and more.

This is cool,

I remember last year there was a period of same thing, September/October? where BTC and all altcoins down big time, before everything went back big time in December.

BTC prices sudden drops influence the morale and trust on altcoins overly. And great investors take the control in these crisis. These are great chances to make easy money. Because crisis don't last long.

Yes this is true

Let's face it the Dev's haven't delivered much to make you think otherwise.

dev can't deliver, period.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Multisig coin is a complete scam! on: July 22, 2014, 05:48:55 AM
How is multisig supposed to work and what are it's uses?

multisig address is used pretty much like an escrow. If you create a 2-of-3 multisig address with a public address each from 3 persons, then all the amount deposit to the address can be spent only if any of the 2 people agree and sign the transaction with their private key. So one person can not spend the amount in the wallet address.

It is ridiculous that people use that name to promote his coin, clearly as OP said, the dev of multisig coin knows nothing about multisig and use the name only to promote the coin. A shitcoin / scamcoin to avoid for sure.
