21  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-01-06] AMD acknowledges the benefits of its hardware for bitcoin mining on: January 06, 2014, 02:06:44 PM
Very good news but.. why they used lottocoin instead of litecoin?
Scrypt ASICs producers designers won't be happy..
22  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2014-01-06 Princeton Researchers Developing Bitcoin-Based Prediction Market on: January 06, 2014, 02:04:14 PM
There is not much information on the article to understand how they will use the blockchain
Good news I guess?
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Keep making more Alt-Coins on: January 06, 2014, 01:56:28 PM

24  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: This is exactly why I believe in bitcoins ! VISA & Banks are thiefs ! on: January 06, 2014, 01:53:51 PM
I just hope the governments doesn't make bitcoin illegal.  Undecided

It's just one the best things since internet porn.

They really can't make it illegal.

They can put in regulations, but without banning the internet I don't see how they'll stop people from using it.

They can't stop it as it's decentralized so even 1 node hashing on a gameboy color can keep the network alive BUT they can certainly and very easily (China?) ban any company from using it on their countries.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YOUR opinion --Which new altcoin is going to make it ? (poll) on: January 06, 2014, 11:23:01 AM
I guess None of them is an almost safe choice.
Or do you consider a few satoshi as being alive?
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm dumping Nxt and here's why you should too on: January 06, 2014, 11:21:25 AM
Bingo OP. The market manipulation on DGEX was like nothing I've ever seen. I was stung by it a few times but ultimately  managed to make a small profit and I've now sold all my NXT. I won't be buying again, no matter how low they go. Like you say, all it takes is one big dump from an early investor for the price to plummet. It makes Bitcoin look stable.

It looks bitcoin look stable because it has not been premined and distributed to 70 (or less, excluding puppets) suckers.
The code disclosed represents exactly how this project started, maybe a good idea very bad executed.
Seriously, would you ever go to a customer with such a piece of shit? I wouldn't, I'd present it the best I can
27  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Alert function to wake up your pc? on: January 06, 2014, 10:23:57 AM
Do you need an alarm to wake you up at a certain BTC price?
If you have an Android you can try an app called Bitcoin Paranoid, it has a function "Annoying mode" which doesn't let you sleep until you stop the fucking alarm!
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Taiwan Regulators Block Robocoin Bitcoin ATMs on: January 06, 2014, 10:19:17 AM
I guess Taiwan is heavily influenced by China?
They could regulate, tax and have a profit but no, hey, let's ban it!
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm dumping Nxt and here's why you should too on: January 06, 2014, 10:17:24 AM
Early-adopters must be rewarded for the risk they take.

It is the same for all crypto, it is the same for everything you do in your life.

Stop being mad at them, move on.

I'm giving the pure trading perspective, if anyone is looking to profit from this coin. Because no one will at this price and if they do it will be peanuts compared to the donors. Let me guess, you donated 1 BTC? Congratulations for making hundreds of thousands from idiots.

As many (including me) said already for some time, IPO are as scam as all the rest, just a different type
No point on support them and trade for small profit where stakeholders can dump on you at their wish..
Thanks for the heads up anyway :-)
30  Economy / Services / Re: Check out the prices of this VPS on: January 06, 2014, 10:12:19 AM
Website was a bit slow to load, hopefully vps are better, and no English translation.
Are they accepting bitcoin or?
Do they have English support at least?
31  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-01-03] Leading Adult Site Porn.com Now Accepts Bitcoin on: January 06, 2014, 10:10:11 AM

(or at least to hide the transaction from the CC!)
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paying monthly bills is fun with Bitcoin on: January 06, 2014, 01:35:45 AM
Huh
Has this account been hacked or what?
This should go to services, promoting a service accepting bitcoin is not a discussion
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Aero - The Currency of Tomorrow on: January 06, 2014, 01:27:10 AM

34  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-01-05] Facebook starts testing Bitcoin payments on Advertising Platform on: January 05, 2014, 11:51:45 PM

35  Other / Off-topic / Re: [FUD] Bicoin biggest scam in the early history !!! on: January 05, 2014, 11:46:42 PM
If people want to pay bitcoin about 1 milion USD, in dec-2014, it's all right.

I can sell a couple to you if you have enough FIAT to wire over Europe.
What was the point of your thread anyway? Difficulty is controlled by miners, if it rises all the times it means that they have an incentive to enter.
What's not clear?
36  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2014-01-04 SeekingAlpha: Zynga Savings May Be Material To Earnings on: January 05, 2014, 11:42:33 PM
Very good news. Has this been already confirmed from Zynga?
Is it live already? I would use it, too bad their games are so lame
37  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gox is at $1,000 - will it ever go lower again? on: January 05, 2014, 11:41:01 PM
We've barely passed $1k again. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. It's very likely to dip again and give one last chance to buy 3-digit coins.

Will we drop below $900 again? Very unlikely. IMHO

I think we will drop below $900 again, too much confidence based solely on news, a negative one can put us back at $700ish.
Also don't underestimate chinese govt, they still have to ban the voucher workaround..
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [IPO-ANN][NEON] :: Neon :: The Most Advanced Second Generation Currency on: January 05, 2014, 11:37:38 PM
IPOs are getting tagged as scam too quickly.
Better go back to scrypt with small premine imho..

hmm, interesting distribution system.
following!

You joking right?
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could BTC ever be manipulated like Wall Street is? on: January 05, 2014, 11:28:08 PM
And all the withdrawal delays on Gox suggest that they are ALREADY using a large amount of fractional reserve.  It's a little foolish to think they're not.

Maybe they use some money but I think gox also had real problems with bank accounts all over the world.
Not defending them ofc! Only time will tell
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Selling 4,000,000.00 NXT at 0.000075BTC each on: January 05, 2014, 11:23:27 PM
NXT is as scam as all the rest of pump-and-dump, IPO, useless clones and 2ng gen bullshit.
You shouldn't support it
