Total Coins: 51851852 This was the amount listed on the Github from the previous developer. We have found that the coin IS NOT Hardcaped = no limit at this time. We will have to fork the coin in the future to softcap Trancecoin and to add a diminishing block reward. We will attempt to keep the max number of coins as close to the original github posting. We understand the values of low coin-counts and low float/marketcap coins. This Necessary fork is currently being discussed. Trancecoin is backed by nothing- Just like Bitcoin, Ether or the rest of the altcoins. Cryptocurrency is a pure speculators market, and we make no guarantees about this coin. We are just getting it back to on track and attempting to make our investment function like the altcoin it is. If you choose to gamble / invest in cryptocurrency- that is your personal choice. I'm not here to tell anyone to sell or buy anything. We purchased the coin on the open market like the rest of you, and when the coin started to waste away we decided to get it back to some state of normalcy. We do not control the markets, and cannot give any type of price predictions as the entire blockchain environment could change at any time. When/If regulation(s) were to be put in place- we would have no control over the requirements put forth by a regulatory agency / governing body.

what are the use cases of the platform you want to build? can you provide some examples..
To be absolutely honest; We do not feel that Bitcointalk would be the best outlet/platform to divulge any details on. There are two main reasons for this: A. Other developers could use the details provided here to produce a competitor product & get it first-to-market. B. Financial Technology (Fintech) and blockchain technology has a bad habit of making promises or 'wild claims' about their product/service, and never making good on 'said' claims (we see this as a systemic problem in the industry, and we do not want to portray our activities as something they are not or that we cannot accomplish). Where other unscrupulous developers / teams have played the industry like a musical instrument & milked millions from the misinformed- we want to do this in a professional manner. The last thing we want to do is lead people on and have them believe we can do something we cannot. Close to the vest and conservative- this is for our safety, and the safety of your money/investment. Please weigh your options and evaluate your risk when making any cryptocurrency/token investment decisions. The best investment you can make is- taking the time to do your Due Diligence. |

Project Update - - Website is being worked on and fleshed out to better appeal to the core demographic.
- Current QT based software updates (purely cosmetic update; new branding & associated wallet icons, splash/about images) have been provided to the blockchain developer. We anticipate only win 32/64bit, and linux 32/64bit wallets with this update (apple developer / qt compile desired [please contact if you can provide]).
DISCLOSURE: This image is part of an Adobe Experience UX/UI design project of what a potential "Trance" platform 'could' look like. We, Myself and the marketing guy are attempting to design a basic interface that would serve as an example to pass onto the 'actual UX/UI developers.' Talking with our team, and we have a few thoughts about the direction of development. We believe that the aspirations we have for a Trance platform could be too big for blockchain. That the trance token itself may just be used as a unit of measure on this proposed 'platform.' We have taken an ether token into consideration, but with current gas prices it doesn't seem as attractive as it used to be.
As a musician there are many things in the industry that could benefit from being decentralized, and potentially bringing the artist and fans together is just an added bonus.
How many of you have gone to purchase a festival or concert ticket only to find out that someone made a script to buy them up so that they could increase the price and sell them back to the fans?
Any artist reading? Have you or someone you know been the victim of bad management? Ever had to record an album and tour on your own dime because someone mismanaged your funds?
Ever wish you had the ability to book your own show; set your own prices and even conduct merchandise sales all via the same system?
These are some of the problems we would like to be able to offer a solution for.
Sometimes dreams can be larger than one person or even a small team, and this is why we are actively looking for talented individuals to add to our team.

We have supplied the updated graphics to the programmer- will take time for them to recompile the wallets with the updated branding images (they have other clients ahead of us atm). Will be working on the site after the wallets are updated, and once the (basic) site is functional and up- another announcement / relaunch bct thread will be created.
Currently, the Trance coin project is fully funded and thus we have no reason to sell any coins. Development is hodling strong =)

Going to leave it up to the community to decide.
My opinion is- whomever owns the most of the coins Owns trancecoin.
since you no longer have any coins... you really don't have any ability to claim ownership of the project or to make changes to the direction of the coin.. that would be left up to the community. I've time, effort and a few thousand dollars invested in just web services for this project. If you wish to take back over the project you would need to do a swap.. but how do you get more coins without a premine?
If you premine and attempt a swap you will kill the coin-

Im hopeing to make a Trancecoin V2 where the coins will be swaped to some sort of ratio with the algo beiong scrypt POW so the chain will never die and will have nodes 24/7 ,
ON that note i will be setting up a trance coin forum where there will be arcades , live trance music , etc ive been unwell recently but im now ok to continue this project and thank you for the work you have done ,
as soon as the forum part it up i will send you a link to it and you can be a mod on there too ,
im open to ideas on what the pow reward should be and you will also be the first person to have the wallets also and of course some extra coins for what you have done

It's slow going at the moment as we are not the original development team. We are currently seeking 'extremely talented individuals' to help in the future development of Trancecoin.
IF you or someone you know decides to acquire Trancecoin- please warn/educate them of the potential risks involved with investing in cryptocurrency / blockchain related projects.
I wouldn't advise anyone to acquire the coin until we have some solid development released to the community.
Be smart when investing- do your homework / due diligence (trancecoin is currently a huge risk for an investment/gamble). However, we are working on getting the coin to a functional level. By "functional" we mean- wallet works, block explorer provided, and working with the exchange to keep the coin active. At any time the regulatory framework could change the way that the environment functions 'as a whole.' Please keep up-to-date with your & other nation(s) regulatory ambitions concerning blockchain projects, and how that may or may not influence how you or trancecoin functions in the future.
The moral of the story IS, stay informed and reduce your risk.

Sorry that development is taking a while- this is all being done on a shoe-string budget at the moment. We've had help from many friends in crypto, and everything is slowly coming together on the rebrand.

Trance Coin has secured it's marketing professional- our attention is now on the relaunch and rebrand.
We also will be working on a basic website and getting all information updated with the exchange and eventually getting Blockfolio updated. Afterwards we will inquire about getting the updated Trance info on coinmarket cap.
