Quite the motivating post, ATXsilver ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I wonder how many people share your beliefs though, hopefully quite a few!

This looks fantastic! Probably my favourite one so far.

You have a typo in one of the page names "Eartcoin exchanges". The content looks really good though, great job! A few minor suggestions: * List the exchanges in order of volume (so CoinEx would go above Coinedup) * "visa versa" == vice versa * The ebay link can be shortened to http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=earthcoin

So what's everyone think? Is this one a dud, or will it make it to an exchange? I think the progressive rewards are neat, but it's going to take a lot to get noticed in the vast sea of shitcoins out there.
Well, of course my opinion is a bit biased so I'll just state the facts. Even though there is no premine, the dev team has sufficient funds for promoting microCoin and creating bounties. As you can see there are several bounties in the bounties thread. The bounties paid so far amount to well over $1000. There is plenty more to spare still. So the development will continue and we will keep paying more bounties and actively seeking to get services for microCoin. Even if it would take over $10000, we are certain that we will get our investment back on the long run. There is also a bigger announcement for microCoin coming in the following weeks, but that will remain a secret for now. But you can be sure that we have no intention of stopping development, even less so, since we have invested our own money into this. Of course everyone is free to think how they will, but this the dev team's stance on microCoin and will continue to be. +1 devs are using their own cash, so they want it to succeed. MCR do you have donation address for Microcoin? I'm not microcoin rich and I don't have a lot of hashing power but I'm willing to donate some micro to help this thing succeed! Donation addresses added to signature and OP. Even small donations are appreciated ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) donated some Status: 1/unconfirmed, broadcast through 6 node(s) Date: 18.01.2014 14:36 To: donation thothx 1JF7TaAYXyxsqtSXUwJxJQVPbR23QerqwT Debit: -150000.00 MRC Transaction fee: -0.00001 MRC Net amount: -150000.00001 MRC Transaction ID: 9376bff162a1e16199d9f3bee13dfff45915954fbc2eae2c35c01ae528b7ea05 hope it helps! I think that font looks really nice for "microcoin" but the logo part of it just needs a little...something. Needs some sort of flair to it like how bitcoin has the lines coming out of it so that it isn't just a regular B.

Can anyone explain network increase? Yeah I know x2, right? Well not exactly... profitability is same as yesterday and the day before. So it can't be opportunistic miners. They should be on Doge or whatver is the most profitable coin. So it has to be those who wants EAC but not for immediate sale, right?
The double rewards only last for one day. Refer to this page for when the x2 and x5 days occur: http://poolerino.com/eaccountdown/On the extra reward days more miners jump onboard so the profitability stays roughly constant.

Can you confirm if you want to use the 'u' micro symbol or if you'd prefer 'm' or 'mc'?
It might help the designers if they have a bit more direction. Personally I prefer the 'u' or 'uC'

do any of you guys know what a 7950 should be running on scrypt jane... when micro 1st launched I was hitting 2.5mh/s is that good or could I have got like 4mh/s if optimized? anyone else mine in the begging with 7950's
well i started around 8mh/s per 290 card , im now at 4mh/s , im not familiar with the 7950 but i guess you have the same reduction in % as i did Just about im hashing at 1.7mh/s now. The diff went down so I'm not mining any less tho... how much weeks do you guys think it will take us to get to block 300k? 300,000 - 32,802 (current block) = 267,198 267,198 * 32 (seconds per block) / 60 (seconds per minute) / 60 (minutes per hour) / 24 (hours per day) =~ 99 Days The rewards start decreasing by block 160,000, though. Mr. V only asked when we'd reach block 300k, the rewards wouldn't affect that timeframe?

They're not exactly going to list it on an exchange either...
They will make a private sale and it won't move the market at all

Here is my logo for the contest, my id is donatel99 and microcoin address is 1Q1dcZkukJLvS6G5HnwTbN6VUb1rfBmtKf This looks like an excellent start! I'm really hoping we can see some other entries at this same quality level. It'd be nice to see some 'Microcoin accepted here' images also.

Good work on getting the faucet up and running!

Looking nice. It's great to see more and more places accepting it! Do all the stores with Coinpayments actually offer EAC as an option? These pages seem to imply that EAC isn't accepted? I'd love to start spending some of my Earthcoins on some real, tangible items. I imagine shipping to Australia will be pretty expensive for any of the ones that do accept it though ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif)

Microcoin has had an excellent launch, very fair.
The only thing it's missing at the moment is a good logo, but I'd say the rest of the steps have been pretty well adhered to.

24Kilo I appreciate what you're trying to do with the food project (I really do), but please stop acting so entitled. Making giant red letters calling this community a bunch of losers isn't going to do anything to help your cause.
Perhaps try to be a bit less aggressive and instead kindly ask for people to help out. Make it clear that the project should be discussed on the earthcointalk forum and ask that people please go there and add some suggestions / contribute.
I don't think your previous posts were quite coming across as clear as you might have hoped and then going on to telling people how awful they are for not contributing to the project really is quite the wrong way to go about getting support.
You're trying to do a good thing, but no one should be expected to help, so don't get angry when they don't. Focus a bit more on supporting people to volunteer their help and I think you'll do much better.

Doesn't seem like there's much interest in buying, only people selling at the moment.

Can someone tell me what block the 2x payout starts? This information should be on the earthcoin website.
It's in the first post: Use the second one

Just put paulus51 on ignore as I did a while ago. Could you explain what Skrill is?
I'm happy to see Earthcoin being added to all sorts of things, but I haven't heard of Skrill before.
