Hey All,

I was mining with doge.pool.webxass.de, but the fronted keeps crashing during the day. I was paid out, but now that its down again. I am looking for a more reliable mining pool. I see a lot of spams for pools, so I am looking for some suggestions on which pool to use.

Thanks!

https://www.multipool.us

4gh/s + mining

known pool. trusted

eu and us servers , so u can make a backup pool if one goes down.

auto payments works like a charm and fast.

i recommend this.

Thanks for the suggestion! I think in the meantime, I will go back to mining LTC until all the kinks are worked out. I have a decent amount of dogecoins saved.

24  Other / Beginners & Help / Calling all Canadians... eh! on: December 20, 2013, 12:29:30 AM
To my fellow Canadians,

Which exchange are you guys currently using?

cavirtex is taking forever to verify accounts

vault of satoshi verified my account pretty quickly, but their pricing is not the greatest. Plus, to fund the account, I will need to wire them money.

So my question is, what exchange are you guys using? What is the quickest way I can setup an account and start trading? Smiley

Thanks!

To Mine BTC (sha):
check if there is any ASIC ready to ship, I can't advise as I don't follow that market

To Mine LTC (scrypt):
With $10k you can probably get 4 miners with 4 good gpus (16 in total)

You can plug hash power into the calculator and it tells you how long it take at the current difficulty to ROI and how many you can mine per day

..but are you sure you prefer buy hardware rather than buy BTC directly?
It's a lot of work and it might be challenging if you don't have much experience with hardware and stuff

He said it the best. Mining bit coins just isn't worth it. I would not advise buying the ASIC miners. With the difficulty increasing quickly, the ROI on the ASIC miners isn't worth it.

If you have a lot of time during the day, I would just day trade BTC or LTC.

With that said, for fun.. I am mining LTC. Since I have the hardware already, it covers my electricity cost and I turn off the miners when I want to play some vids (XFX R9 290), but my 5870 is constantly running hashing at about 450 kH/s

Since I cannot post in the other section yet. Does anybody know why doge.pool.webxass.de is down? DDOS? Scam? Sucks because I mined last night and my rig at home is still mining. Would hate it if I was mining for nothing and paying electricity for it Sad
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much khash/s do you get mining? on: December 19, 2013, 08:58:19 PM
You need an ATI GPU, with my XFX R9 290. I can pull about 800 KH/s, with my fan at 48%. If I push it (fan at 100%).. I can get to about 900+ KH/s.

With my old 5870, I hit about 450-500 KH/s.
