21  Bitcoin / Mining / Recommendations for utilizing new Mobo on: June 11, 2011, 01:45:09 AM
Snagged: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131641&cm_re=p6x58d-_-13-131-641-_-Product

for $53.99 openbox at microcenter today

I'm interested in utilizing it for mining.

A few weeks back, I'd slap in 4x 5830s, dual 500W PSUs, a low end i7, and call it a day.

Obviously the GPU market has gone to hell since, so anyone care to recommend how to set this up as a mining rig?

These are from microcenter, amrite?

Their mailin rebate is limited to one GPU/household

Would possibly be interested, but the resale price would have to be better than $130/unit for sapphires or gigabytes.
24  Other / Obsolete (selling) / For sale: unverified paypal account with US $47.65 balance on: June 11, 2011, 12:08:53 AM
Interested in selling an unverified paypal account I've had sitting around for about a year for BTC. I'm too much of a privacy nut to give paypal my personal info.

To the highest bidder! (currently the exchange rate would be around 2btc)

Edit: if this is at all unclear, I'll simply turn over the login credentials to the sender, no transfers involved.

Just received a $303 amazon giftcard within a couple days of request.

Very satisfied!  Cheesy
26  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Difficulty News - 6/8 on: June 09, 2011, 05:11:50 AM
Am I the only one who thinks difficulty is going to REALLY level out in about two weeks, given the growing supply issues with GPUs?
27  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: If Bitcoins crash or go away, what do you plan to do with your mining rig? on: June 09, 2011, 05:07:10 AM
Upgrade the processors in all my rigs, buy more RAM, and get them cases.

Then run LinuxPMI on them for a bitchin SSI cluster for hash cracking, 3D rendering, video processing, etc
28  Bitcoin / Mining / Where to buy 5830s? on: June 08, 2011, 02:29:40 AM
I was hoping to get a couple more 5830s today. Just noticed they have sold out on newegg at 110.

Where can I pick some up at a more reasonable price than amazon?
