So far we have had many developers and sellers participate in adopting this coin. Our hash rate may be low but the community is great! The main user base is in Japan but I am actively working on bridging it to be international. Hopefully this will catch your attention! We are officially a week old and here is what we have so far. However if you have stayed around long enough you will notice that the hashrate is now floating around ~ 100Mh/s. Yes that is low but I can vouch that 90% of that is from Japan, so the initial user base has never disappeared. In the 2ch threads I have been visiting I notice a lot of talk about the cost of electricity. Not everyone overthere can leave their computers on overnight or have giant mining rigs. Right now I am talking with the people over at 2ch to come up with ideas and services to offer. This is where we are different from the other crypto's. As I monitor many of the new crypto's emerging I see barely any community offering services for their coin. All I see is people wanting to dump their coins. This could turn out to be more than just a cryptocurrency as well. It could allow more intercultural exchanges as more users emerge. I'm not sure if any other crypto has done that before.

I agree, if you introduce this coin early, the dumpers will dump and scare the community when it hits the lowest point. Then again, I think it would be be best if the dumpers got rid of their coins early on so they aren't able to dump it all when Monacoin is actually highly valued in Japan.

I agree, but this was bound to happen. I'm just glad it's going to be over really quick. Through this we'll see better alt coins show up because there is a new standard that must be met to not be just another dump coin.

What about Bitcoin and Litecoin? Hmm... those have more of a presence I would say in USA/English speaking places. Then again, the whole satoshi nakamoto name is definitely Japanese. I really need to be able to post on alternative cryptocurrencies sub forum but I guess I need to post more. Anyways if you interested, there is this new coin: Monacoin. Here is why I'm really excited. This coin originats from the Japanese forum 2chan. I believe this will be the first attempt at an international crpyto being introduced into market. Hopefully I can post this over at the monacoin thread soon. Until then, if anyone could relay and help me I would be gateful. I am the creator of the subreddit /r/monacoin and recently someone from Japan's 2ch contacted me and the wheels are rolling. I am really interested to see how Japan will back their crypto!
