I really don't know how to solo mine...

I didn't until I tried on this coins

Put this as your birdcoin.conf in the roaming folder

rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=16051
port=16050
gen=0
server=1

Then use this in your cgminer conf

      "url" : "127.0.0.1:16051",
      "user" : "username",
      "pass" : "password"

Anyone know who's mined the last 10 block in less then an hour,  All the same wallet address.  Is it a pool or some big solo miner?

could be coinex. not sure.

Don't think it is

Who ever it is, has now had about 40 blocks and counting, in the last hour, that's a lot of cats

Edit,

looks like you are correct, atleast it's a pool and not 1 big solo miner.

Can I ask how you are going to work the compensation,  Is it going to be first come first server, or are you going to give a percentage of lost coins to each claimant.

I may be wrong but looks to me that the now dead folk was running for almost a week, creating about 45000 cat's

I just want cat to be happy and purring again,  I've been here since day 1 and want cat to continue strong.

My opinion was based on the facts of what the current block that there website stated at the time of me typing.

But as I type this, it looks like they are now on the correct block

Those are not the only pools or miners on the network,

Could you list all known pools on the correct chain

thanks

Another concern I have is,  Coinedup, coinex & crypto rush are/have been on the wrong fork.  So all the people who have invested in cat coin are suddenly going to lose their coins.  This isn't going to look good to investors in cat coin.  I don't think anyone knows which fork Cryptsy is on, could open a ticket but rolling a dice might be more productive!!!!
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Catcoin - NEW THREAD - FORK INCOMING AT BLOCK 21346 - Scrypt MEOW! on: February 17, 2014, 06:28:00 PM
Another point I'd like to make

Mining-pool.co.uk  0.049mh/s
cat.e-pool.net 1.1mh/s
Coinex 0.608mh.s
Geekhash 8.165mh/s  (still under Construction)

Coinex network states say 31.4 mh/s

So are all the above on the correct Fork?

And then there's

Coinium @ 40.3mh/s

Could I ask the devs why the less popular fork has been used?
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Catcoin - NEW THREAD - FORK INCOMING AT BLOCK 21346 - Scrypt MEOW! on: February 17, 2014, 05:37:50 PM
Would have been nice if a folk had been selected a bit earlier, as myself and several others had been asking.  Looks like it's gone with a pretty un know fork.

As I read it,  Most people here had been looking at the teamcat and coinium folk as the correct 1.

I think I'm about to loose 2000 ish cat coins 750 in my wallet and about 1100 slowly on there way to exchanges and 150 still in coinium.

I was aware that Mining over the last couple of weeks was a risk, I did manage to get a few hundred to the exchanges,  Including coinex, which considering they've changed Forks,  I still had the coins, so I quickly just sold them.

I also managed to get coins to coinedup and crypto rush, in test quantities only.

So the way I see it, everyone was on the same fork, apart from P2Pools & geekhash.com, but for some reason, this is the 1 the devs have gone with.

Please add me to the compensation list,  I would love the missing 2000 coins back, but even a small quantity would be nice
