I see that there is a new open-source miner for Lyra2REv2 on AMD cards now: https://github.com/CryptoGraphics/lyclMinerPerformance seems better for me too 10%-15% faster at same settings on my Vega 64 cards, is mkxminer gonna be updated with code from this? Is there a way to set intensity in this miner? Yes. -I or --intensity - Intensity of GPU scanning (23 for high end cards, 20 for low end). For example, RX480 -I 21 I tried this setting in lyclMiner and it doesn't seem to work. Which is bad cause overall lycl seems to be more stable and gives higher hashrate than mkxminer. lyclminer is just the worksize variable in its config, you have to play around with that instead of intensity. I can't use it, cause I usually set lower intensity in miners. Don't want to fry my gpu. |

Bump. any news on any miner at all for AMD Vega cards on Win10?
Tried Sgminer but only got 1Mh/s, but then again I don't know how to configure in the bat file
Sgminer's lyra2z kernel is unoptimized. |

Hi any suggestion to make the miner more stable on Win10?
it runs from a few minutes to a few hours and then I am not sure what happens as there is no log file to check, but when I come back I found my computer rebooted and mkx miner off.

x17 works like a charm and is faster than old sgminer x17 fork. Do you have plans for adding/optimizing other algos like lyra2z, c11, tribus etc?

I like this miner, but it's sad that it isn't compatible with mining rental services. Avermore doesn't switch from dev pool to mining rental pool when there's no work on that pool available (doesn't get into idle state).

As long as a coin has a market somewhere. The profitability will be EXACTLY the same as other coins.
There is no "secret low difficulty coin". They are all priced the same more or less.
That's why these days is there is no point in jumping thru different coins.
Not exactly true. In December someone rented my 750khs (lol) x15 rig, found a lot of blocks cause he was mining some zero diff coin. A week later diff rose to very high values. I guess that guy sold his coins and then came guys with asics and ruined all the fun. |

Hello. I tried to setup a rig on miningrigrentals, but mkxminer can't get into idle state and tries to reconnect to server every time. Is there any way I can use this miner on MRR?
