You can try using an offchain wallet.
Offchain wallet requires trust on the third party. Isn't recommended unless you trust the thirdparty. Bitcoin is meant to be decentralized. Look what happened to inputs.io  Roll Eyes.

Go for GPU and ASIC resistance Alt coins. They can make more profit, do be careful as there are some which are pump and dump coin.
23  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there any paying get paid to work website that pays in bitcoins? on: May 23, 2014, 07:24:08 AM
bitvisitor.com may be a good choice. Quite a small amount but quite easy to earn.
24  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Unable to post on: May 23, 2014, 07:08:40 AM
Very annoying. I guess all we can do is wait to get more activity.
The limit actually stops some spammers to spam too fast. Some people just create accounts and spam the forum. It is annoying but those who are really interested in this forum would spend some time to post and gain more activity, their limit will then be removed.
25  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help for newbies with starting btc on: May 23, 2014, 07:06:01 AM
These sites will not net you very much BTC. I suggest, if you do not want to put in some of your own cash, to look into offering services/goods for BTC in the marketplace. Consider renting out your signature to an advertiser if you see yourself regularly posting on the forum!
These are meant for newbies which have little knowledge of bitcoins to try them out, kind of promotes bitcoins to the public. Other ways you stated are mainly for Bitcoiners who have more knowledge and wants to earn more bitcoins.
26  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Urls next to BTC addresses on: May 23, 2014, 07:03:28 AM
Like this address: https://blockchain.info/address/1NxaBCFQwejSZbQfWcYNwgqML5wWoE3rK4
It has a name and I was wondering how they do this?

You can add tags for your addresses in blockchain.info wallet page, or add tags for any addresses in this page. https://blockchain.info/tags
Now how do I remove a tag?

AFAIK, you can't. Wink
If you really want to do that, try sending a support ticket to blockchain.info.

i actually dont really like the public tagging.... and i dont like how easy they make it to accidentally click that box and make your address tags public. i mean, what is the purpose of this? just some gimmick?
Bitcoin is meant to be anonymous, by tagging a name and not untagging it compromise the privacy of the user. You can easily search up an address and see the name(If it is tagged). It is also not accurate, I have seen people who tag some addresses with other people's name. Blockchain.info does not verify the true identity of the person.
27  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Small btc payment stuck for 2 hours :( on: May 23, 2014, 06:38:22 AM
Wow I didnt know a transaction could take this long.

This is eye opening.. esp if you need to do something immediately. Eg: if you wanted to go gamble with it.

Thanks!
Fees are quite affordable at the moment, it is very small. People who are sending transactions should add a transaction fee.
28  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fee on: May 23, 2014, 06:35:50 AM
It is actually risky, not with the app but with the transaction fees. Transactions that does not include a fee may never confirm depending on the factors. There are a list of factors: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Transaction_fees#Sending

If it doesn't confirm, though, you should be able to reverse the transaction (or, rather, delete it locally) and re-send with the fee. I think some clients (Electrum and MultiBit?) automatically do this after like 48h.

That is technically incorrect, you cannot "reverse" a transaction. It just gets dropped out of the memory pool (a database of unconfirmed transactions), and, if it doesn't get rebroadcasted, then you get your coins back.
Mine was automatically rebroadcasted for 11 days already, using multibit's wallet. It is more effective to double spend it rather than wait.
29  Other / Meta / Re: how to delete bitcointalk.org account? on: May 22, 2014, 12:36:39 PM
Theymos already stated that he won't be deleting bitcointalk accounts. Unless you have some serious problems, try contacting him.
30  Other / Meta / Re: Proposing A New Constructive Way To Lift The Ban From Temp. Banned Users on: May 22, 2014, 12:35:10 PM
It isn't hard to pretend that you are reporting bad post. You can report those 50 bad post first then after your ban is lifted, you start spamming again. It isn't hard to find bad post in this forum.
31  Other / Meta / Re: Some admin decided to delete my posts. WHY? on: May 22, 2014, 12:33:11 PM
It is possible that you are spamming, trolling or flaming.

33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it smart to make a Bitcoin Faucet on: May 22, 2014, 12:18:53 PM
If you could get some people to visit your faucet, add some ads and you might be able to make ROI. Make weekly payments in batches, so that you have to reach x amount of bitcoins to cashout. It would not incur so much transaction fees.
34  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Small btc payment stuck for 2 hours :( on: May 22, 2014, 12:15:29 PM
Is this still stuck or no?
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Transaction_fees#Sending There is quite some information there, I have a transaction that is stuck for weeks. You can try to double spend it and you will receive the coins back.
35  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which is the most trending and easiest way to grab btc for free, now a days? on: May 22, 2014, 12:10:44 PM

What are the most popular ways to earn some bitcoins for free instantly?

Most members and beyond are into signature tracks, as they pay very well.
Newbies/jr.members are usually into faucets.

I do not think faucet pays a lot, they can still offer services such as website coding to earn some income at the service section.
36  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I buy bitcoin same-day? on: May 22, 2014, 12:01:19 PM
I suggest a bitcoin ATM, it does not take much time to convert your money into Bitcoins. If you do not have an bitcoin atm at your country, try localbitcoins. I personally have excellent experience with the sellers at localbitcoins.
37  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which Bitcoin Exchange do you use and why ? on: May 22, 2014, 11:59:28 AM
I trust CoinBase the most, have always delivered my Bitcoins on time. If you want to be extra cautious, Bitcoin ATMs are a good alternative
