Has anyone noticed that after the new increased performance on the new sgminer it seems like the mining rigs go down more often than before. We have 40 triple r290 gpu miners using the old slower sgminer and everyday 2-3 random miners go down. down as in:
1. sgminer quits by itself, cgwatcher still working. if we restart the miner, gpu1 usually shows 1/3 the normal hashrate. Reboot windows and everything is fine.
2. sgminer shows pools being dropped, so cgremote shows mining darkcoin but do not show a pool. reboot system then works fine.
3. rarely would windows be locked up and require a reset on the system
with the new faster sgminer using the same exact settings, only added the -x11mod the 2-3 random miners become 6-7 random miners. We've tried to lower intensity from 19 to 18 didnt help on decreasing the crashes.
Any help will be appreciated.
I guess, too much overclocked. Settings was good for a "classic" darkcoin kernel (single kernel) may not compliant for x11mod (multi kernel). Look this thread for a optimal settings for R9 290. |

testing.. sgminer_x11x13mod_03_06_2014 build on 5850 with "x13modold" kernel still gives HWs !

changing the hamsi from 4 to 1 resulted in 2.585 from 2.55

im assuming you mean rawintensity with those high values.
result exactly the same hashrates.

Yes, sure, rawintensity. Hmm. Very strange. Please change in file kernel/x13mod.cl from #define SPH_HAMSI_EXPAND_BIG 4to #define SPH_HAMSI_EXPAND_BIG 1delete .bin file and restart miner. |

copied my conf file from the 30.05 version.
all bins are new and fresh
Please show your config. ps Hashrate was increased a little with this version for my R9 280x/270x cards. |

i used to have 2.65 MH per 280x X13
with this newest update i only get 2.5
anyone else experiencing the same ?
Are you sure that you are using x13mod, not x13modold? |

I was testing it on nicehash stratum+tcp://stratum.nicehash.com:3337 Did you try a specified Nicehash miner: https://nicehash.com/software/? sgminer.c:4352:20: error: ‘X13MODOLD_KERNNAME’ undeclared (first use in this function)
You'll need do make clean
./autogen.sh <<<<<<<< mandatory
./configure

That working x13 kernel for 5xxx and 6xxx cards is not near close hashrate how it should be.

Because optimised x13 kernel doesn't work on older cards. Seems that people with knowledge are not interested in fixing it  Just updated sources on github with fix for AMD HD 5xxx/6xxx cards. Windows binaries will be a little bit later.Use "kernel" : "x13modold" in your configs or -k x13modold in command line. |

Bit of a newb here, I am currently mining x-11 (with Darkcoin kernel) with BAMT 1.6, I am interested in switching to x-13, but just cannot figure out how... If someone is willing to help me out and sort of walk me through a "how-to" I will be more than happy to send some BTC your way. Please help!  Sorry guys, finally figured it out! Now, can someone just let me know what an acceptable hash rate is for R9 280x's? Im getting 2.6mh/s, is that fine? x13 - 2.6mh/s is good |

Help with setting 6750 13.12 drivers constantly HW Unfortunately, still no progress with 5xxx/6xxx cards. Are there big differencies between your version and "original" from girino? girino's can x13? |

Neither the server address shows without setting manually a name, nor a name shows when manually setting one (with "name" or "poolname"). Is it only me? I'm using the latest version Elun submitted. My conf-file is on page 36, with the big picture. Can somebody take a look. Thanks.

I changed to "poolname" (as I only had "name"), but still miner shows Pool 0, Pool 1, etc. The only difference with your config is that CGWatcher has put extra pool priority line for every pool. All is fine in karloth's cgminer, with "name" and pool-priority. I just can't figure it out... Damn it! {

Anyone have good config for HD 7950? Mine keeps crashing my Win 7 after 3-4 hours sgminer -k x11mod -o stratum+tcp://stratum.multipoolmining.com:5555 -u USER -p x -I 17 -g 1 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-engine 1100 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-powertune 20 --thread-concurrency 24000 --temp-cutoff 95 --temp-overheat 85 --temp-target 75 --api-listen --api-allow W:127.0.0.1 worksize 128, xintensity 56 and little bit lower gpu-engine, maybe 1050. |
