someone could enable powertemp with newer drivers? thats the reason i cant use the new drivers cause i have to set pwertemp limit for some cards that getīs to hot

If you're using adrenaline 19 you will need to use PPT generator and set power temp manually in reg file.

I can't start GUI version at all.
I double click on .exe and nothing happens.

Version 0.1.7 worked and now it won't. Does .net framework (required for gui) maybe affects it ?
I was getting 2400 h/s with vega 64 and 2200 h/s on vega 56 (64 bios) with Teamredminer.
After restart it simply won't. I tried to run it as admin and without and still nothing.

Also, when I type winamdtweak.exe --current console just flash for sec and disappears. I tried with cmd /k but it doesn't work.
If I try to run CMD as an administrator I get failed to load EIO.dll

Any solutions?
Thank you

Use full path

"C:\PathtoAmdMemTweak\winamdtweak.exe --curren"
pause?
And run as admin ...

I tried, but if I run it as as admin 'failed to load/find EIO.dll' message appears. (I have EIO.dll)
It worked first time, but after I tried new GUI version and restarted PC it simply won't work.

pls . how i see current mem? i try in win and CMD.
WinAMDTweak.exe --curent
and
WinAMDTweak.exe -current
but not work.

did you try WinAMDTweak.exe --current?
or was that a typo?

yes i try. this is typo:)

EDIT: i solved.
when start in CMD WinAMDTweak.exe --current he start but only 0,00001sec and close and i not see this windows in TeamViever(NET slovly)
now i use  tweak curent.bat and comand
WinAMDTweak.exe --current

It doesn't work for me.
I added

I think the dead gpu problem is from the dot net core install which was required for the GGM grin miner.
https://github.com/mozkomor/GrinGoldMiner
https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download
I have a Vega rig that I previously used to mine Grin and it has problems with some miners like Team Red (but not lyra) and wildrig.

BOOM! THIS IS IT! We should probably hardcode all our desired local worksizes and this wouldn't have happened.

FOR THE TIME BEING FOLKS, SEND DONATIONS TO HAMMUH AND MAKE SURE YOUR ENVIRONMENT VARIABLE GPU_MAX_WORKGROUP_SIZE IS EITHER SET TO 256 OR NOT SET AT ALL!

I'll start working on making sure that isn't necessary in an upcoming release.

It worked! Thank you for quick reply.

cnr won't start...lyra2rev3 works though.

win10, driver ver. 18.6.1 // 1408-905 | 1100-900
What could be the problem?

Looking into a similar issue right now, a few Vega rigs are having init issues it seems. Just to collect some more data for me, what cpu do you have in that rig? Also, I assume you know you have enough swap enabled?

I have Intel Celeron G3930 @ 2.90GHz. I'm not sure what swap is, but if it means virtual memory then yes. I set virtual memory to 60000 MB.
SRBminer cnr works with the same settings.

32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TeamRedMiner - Optimized Win/Linux AMD GPU Miner for lyra2z and phi2 on: October 26, 2018, 04:03:41 PM
I already gave "the best miner ever" title to teamredminer...no doubt about it.
It is great that you intend to implement cn v8 in the miner but I think that you should focus on some other algos unless you're sure that your v8 miner will provide significantly better hashrate. There are already a lot of great cn miners with a lot of builtin features (watchdogs, api, customscripts support,multi-cn algo switch fast/v8/heavy/haven etc.). It's your call of cores, but I think that you should focus on upcoming Zcoin hardfork new mining algo : https://zcoin.io/mtp-hard-fork-what-you-need-to-know/ and possibly to new upcoming Ethereum Prog-Pow.
It's so frustrating that nvidia miners always have mining software ready just on time and we with amd need to wait for several months after launch.

Thank you.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TeamRedMiner - Optimized Win/Linux AMD GPU Miner for lyra2z and phi2 on: October 07, 2018, 02:34:35 AM
VIRUS

I just want to support devs of this miner since it's the best and most stable miner I've ever used. My rigs literally work for a month without any problems or freeze on lyra2z.
Ohhh...Ex57 you're a complete idiot...sorry if I forgot to mention that.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TeamRedMiner - Optimized AMD GPU Miner for lyra2z and phi2 on: September 14, 2018, 10:49:19 PM
Seems like MCLK is irrelevant for phi2 just like for lyra2z ?

Benchmark shows this on my 56/64 vega rig for 144.5:

...
Average speed (5s): 62.6 sol/s | 56.0 sol/s | 56.6 sol/s | 61.4 sol/s | 60.4 sol/s | 44.0 sol/s Total: 340.9 sol/s
Average speed (5s): 63.2 sol/s | 58.6 sol/s | 58.6 sol/s | 59.8 sol/s | 59.6 sol/s | 43.2 sol/s Total: 342.9 sol/s
---------------------------------------------
Average speed (60s): 61.8 sol/s | 57.2 sol/s | 56.7 sol/s | 61.5 sol/s | 56.9 sol/s | 46.4 sol/s Total: 340.7 sol/s

I also get invalid share and some warnings/errors:

Hmm something is wrong here. The speed you see is much higher then I would expect for this cards - I rather would think about 30 to 35 to be realistic.  No real idea why at the moment but I think something in tge filtering is broken. The miner after last round checks the solutions and filters out incomplere ones. Seems that does not work here and more solutions pass the check then it should. No idea why, but this is not good.

The warning message you got is no problem. This has something to do with a bit fancy pointer magic in GPU code ^^ But I wonder: this messages should not be displayed - you are certainly running 0.42? I think thats an older version.

seems it doesn't work for vegas on linux

Doesn't work at yours? What driver you use for the vegas, the ROCm or the amdgpu-pro?
I have no vega myself, so can not trst directly but with some detail info I think we can debug it Smiley

Quote from: CygnusMinor link=topic=4724735.msg44315356#msg44315356
That's a pretty amazingly dramatic performance improvement.

I think there os a bug - your 30 to 33 sols / s is more realistic and in region so I am shure the solutions are all valid. I think in his case something is broken, but will have to see what exactly.
Hope in future versions to put some sol/s on top of cause. New code is already work in progress Smiley

I'm using 0.42 version | ubuntu 16.04 | rocm driver
lol I'm getting even higher hash rate on --setsclk 6 and --memclk 6 core/memory states.
Maybe rocm driver causing the problems.
Is there anyone here who managed to set miner properly on vega rig and rocm driver ?

40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: tdxminer lyra2z/XZC Miner for AMD GPUs on Linux on: August 18, 2018, 09:15:38 PM

I use this settings :
sudo /opt/rocm/bin/rocm-smi --setsclk 0 1 2 3 4 5 --setfan 190 --setmclk 0 but it memory is still 945mhz
How to set memory to 167mhz...I thik that is the lowest possible.
