21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AUSCOIN on: April 07, 2018, 05:55:34 AM
Gday,
I just wanting to check in.

Have been following your telegram channel, and i can see progress on the ground is being made, as of now 21 atms installed. well done.
But as far as the speculative asset goes, it is very quiet.
I am waiting to see AUS listing here https://coinmarketcap.com/ along with other ranked currencies,
and also as per ICO documentation, here. https://etherdelta.com
This thread is also very quiet, perhaps and update here now and again would be good.
Anyway If BTC goes ballistic over the next few years you guys should be very well placed.
Good luck

I contacted yobit support as the coin is still listed there, under the ticker Tao, but the wallet is in maintenance, they informed me that they are just waiting for the dev to submit the wallet and code update, as they had an issue with the previous wallet, and they will get the wallet back up and running.

We need to get Buck on a well known and liked Exchange by both miners and investors. The first choice of location is very important so as not to have this coin become unrecognized or just a platform for dumping. Please be patient and place this coin on Cryptopia, yobit, bittrex, polinex, bianance, coinxexchange or maybe even stocks.exchange. Something of reputation and utility will be worth the wait and help the longevity of the project.

LOL,sorry but yobit has no business in that list of decent exchanges Wink

buckpool.site is off , nethash 150 ksol

buckpool.site is still down (except website) and seems to be having issues lately. network hash is 200ksol+ again. maybe this helps spread the hash a bit when buckpool.site comes back up..

Yep, looks much healthier.

we need to spread the hash around a bit Buckpool.site is way top heavy,
and wallet encryption is probably higher on the priorities list than an exchange for now Wink

33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: leonArdo - Bitcoin Trading Bot: Binance, Bittrex, HitBTC, Poloniex, Bitfinex... on: February 26, 2018, 02:04:39 AM
leonArdo is rebranding as ...

We are excited to announce the upcoming rebranding of leonArdo as margin and the release of a new website. This entails a number of changes for our existing hero customers and we want to run through them here.

I do not think you guys are ready for the limelight yet, Profit Trailer which is leaps and bounds ahead of you is still on non subscription and I can see why they would switch over to subscription. I have not been able to make money off of this program without having it retraced because it does not even have trailing buys and sells.   Once you go to subscription I'm afraid you will fail unless you have an ace in the pocket, just look at CryptoHopper bot for reference on what a paid subscription should have and they are only 5 bucks more a month then you guys and no balance limit. I completely stopped using this product a month back in hopes ya'll would come up with better strategies or something to keep profits from dwindling because stop-losses are known to not be an effective tool when using a bot, but that is all you have to offer.  You are changing the rules on everyone even if some are ok with it, some of us bought early before price hike in hopes that you would fulfill your promises of having more strategies and be able to modify more setting and development and were ok with paying a good amount of money with the potential of a better product in the end.  Yes we get to keep the product for a lifetime, but what good is a half built/half promised product. Let me just say I don't know if its just me but if this product stated you buy once and get a lifetime of product with no updates I would not have purchased it and I'm sure others feel the same way.
Good Luck with your Endeavors.... Turfy Out.

Hmm, in any of the competition you mentioned I am failing to find a trading terminal at all. We are only getting started with new bots to follow on from the recent addition of our Bollinger Band bot. With margin everything is done in the GUI - an actual GUI mind you, not some list of parameters -, everything is beautifully visualised in chart. That's the philosophy we have had from the start. We have built a trading terminal (drag n drop orders, in chart news feeds, multi-window support, built in indicators), not just scripted some bot.

And now, despite what you think, we are ready for the limelight. We have reworked our entire bot interface to make the addition of new bots easy. We already have the most sophisticated crypto trading terminal on the market and we are only getting started with bots...

All the best,
Jonathan

Although this is a little disappointing, I will continue to support your work as i do love the interface.

I only really use the interface to monitor arbitration opportunities on multiple exchanges these days, or when building positions across multiple exchanges. The strategies work well, but with cashes and api errors , conection drops etc.
i cannot leave it un attended safely, and regularly loose my saved strategy data after updates or crashes this is so frustrating as sometimes there are 3-6 market pairs per exchange, with 2 to 4 bots running per pair. it takes quiet some time to rebuild each strategy and find out where each one was up to in its cycle.
Over time Leo has made some great proffits but also lost substantial amounts due to failures.

AS i understand it ? As a "Hero". I can continue to use current software indefinitely? i can trial the new software for 12 months as a continuation of my existing purchase, then go on an annual subscription at a 50% discount. Is this correct?
You have come a long way with the development since the early days, it has been great watching it evolve.
Wish you the best of luck moving forward Wink
P.S i would still love to see an arbitration bot across supported exchanges and a 50/200EMA  or 9/21EMA bot with a 2 candle delay for confirmation.

Am I the only one that has a probelm with some Leonardo files ringing all the  bells with the antivirus ?

I am on Win (7), and all my antivirus software (avast, msft, nalwarebytes etc) are panicking on one particular file "1.exe" that is sitting in my "%user\appdata\roaming" dir which it seems to be affected by the "win32:Malware-gen" virus/trojan.

I noticed this file is part of the leonardo installation package and it is created when Leonardo installs itself.

What is this file? Why it is there ? Is it ok to delete it ?

I run leonardo in a virtualbox just to be on the safe side, but I would like to have some assurance from the developers or other users.

TIA

Hi,

are you sure you downloaded leonArdo from our official website?

All the best,

  Rene

Yes quite sure.  I bought the copy and it is running on my exchanger fine.

I ran the demo for a while (still downloaded from marginsoftware site), and then bought it. Once my API were set i redownloaded anew. I even clicked directly the link in the confirmation email, so no chanche of spoofing  website.

If you want I can send you the  file I downloaded  so you can check yourself.

Shall I get in  contact support with this info ?

Avast flags it as potential threat, you can allow through avast firewall preferences, each new version does it. I submit it to avast as a safe program, it returns a day later saying all is well in wonderland, and that it has been added to the database.

Still, I don't even use the bots I use the program to trade manually and keep my eye on multiple pairs on multiple exchanges. Sure the charts lack some functionality compared to trading view or other options but this is more then made up for by the convenience of having everything in one spot.

As my last post on the subject I will quite clearly state my issues and wait for Jonathon to respond. I have been impressed by Marginsoft in the past and their responses to customer issues

1. When I signed up the understanding that the price was cheap as this was a beta and we were assisting with the issues. Thats fine I was happy with this.

This was acknowledged by Jonathon in his post where the price was raised. I understand that the program is still in BETA however I believe that basic things such as the ongoing run time issues should have been resolved before any price rise occurred. Instead they are worse then ever before.

2. It is my opinion that existing issues from the original beta such as the runtime errors should have been resolved before price increases were implemented to add increased functionality. I believe not addressing the existing issues before increasing the price to improve functionality is unethical

3. I believe that not improving functionality or performance and implying that the cost increases were due to increased functionality or performance that simply does not exist was disingenuous and unprofessional.

4. Rushing to release the Bolinger Bot before Christmas in a broken state before Christmas was part of an attempt to justify a price increase and once again this was disingenous and unprofessional. Especially as the bot was released at a time when Marginsoft would be short staffed and not able to offer adequate support to the product and the bot is simply broken and no good to anybody in it's current state.

5. Stating that the ping pong bot had been fixed when this is clearly not the case is pretty poor. I realise these guys are under the pump but based on past observations Marginsoft have defenitely dropped the ball. Based on past positive experiences with this company I expect better

6. I believe that a price increase even though the program is still in BETA would be fair if pre-existing issues were resolved or if increased functionality or features had been added. This is clearly not the case. In fact the product has become worse and marginsoft has clearly let themselves down by jumping the gun and rushing to market when not ready to do so in order to justify a price increase.

7. As a test I have set up multiple trading view pairs in multiple tabs and had no problems with crashes or errors and had them running for three days. Trading view is a free product and what you are competing with. This is what you guys have to compete with. Especially now that you have increased the price it is more important than ever that your product functions and basic problems such as the run time errors are addressed.

8. I support this product and I hope you guys get it together and make it work. I am writing this partially out of frustration but mainly in the hope that you guys can address these issues, improve the product and make it what it can be. The vision is there.

Also to other posters it would be appreciated if you avoid attacking me by implying that my O'S is pirated or that I am too lazy to do the groundowrk to make Leonardo work on my system.

I apologise for taking so much space in the forum and I hope that I have made my concerns clear and will not respond again until Jonathon responds.

Thak you

You believe many things there Barnaby.

I believe we have a a great product and a great team and a great price at $129 for a lifetime.

This is software by the way. There will always be issues no matter how one plans or how long one waits. Apple also releases patches.

We are working on the Windows issue and hope to release a fix soon. I cannot reproduce your ping pong issue.

As for getting the release out before Xmas. It came with many important updates and I won't apologise for it.

If you want support write a mail to support@marginsoftware.de.

Jonathan

You guys are Champions, have a great break Smiley
Happy new year

Although the bot sells on high and buys on low, it always buys the exact same amount of coins it sold, even when it can buy much more, making me no profit. I always have to cancel the buy order and manually increase the quantity of coins to be purchased. Why is this happening?

That is how the bot works ,you set your order size, and it trades it.
with the check box to "allow the bot to increase amount" can have some effect. but pretty sure the units traded remain the same just there value changes.

As mentioned earlier, v0.6.1 has been released. This version should solve the issues people were having earlier with the client minting before the blockchain is fully synced. If anyone is still having this issue, please report it here.

Also, a troubleshooting guide has been added to the release thread here...

Well done, team

Gday John,

I am just checkin in to see if BTC-e (WEX) is up again. and if so just create a new key, and let you know?

Cheers
 Regards Dan

Hey Dan,

No, afraid not. We spent a few hours looking into it a while back and the API keys part of their site was not working as it should.

Since then we lost interest and no one has really been asking for it.

Are you aware that it's working again?

Best wishes,
Jonathan
The current stats say there are 2924 users and 702 bots running on the site, so i can only assume that API must be functioning?
i asked in the trollbox, and was told it is functional Smiley
Would really like to have WEX (BTC-e)back as it is part of my arbitrage strategy , and they get good volume on PPC.
Cheers

SO I setup Leonardo to run two bots on Bitfinex for a few hours, I come back to an application error (which at some point i assumed would happen given the current bitfinex issues that have been posted). But now, I try to continue my session and it says that my key/secret doesnt allow it to connect? Anyone else having this issue currently?

possibly to do with white listed IP?
