21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much time do you spend reasearching your prospective coin buys? on: May 01, 2018, 11:02:18 PM
As much time as you need to feel comfortable that the project you're investing in is legitimate and is solving a legitimate problem / offering a solution to something. Looking into the team, reading the white paper, joining their community channels and understanding the amount / type of sentiment surrounding a project can be pretty time consuming sometimes.

Think about the amount of platforms that have built upon the Ethereum platform also. Not to mention that Vitalik and his team are constantly improving Ethereum. Kudos to him.

25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Your Money Safer In Crypto than at the Bank? on: May 01, 2018, 10:27:50 PM
For actual security, as long as you're taking the necessary precautions in order to ensure the safety / security of your cryptocurrency (cold storage, 2FA, etc).

The market volatility will settle soon, so it will be safer in other aspects as well.

Two words: Mt. Gox. Seriously, don't let this happen to you. This is your hard earned money & crypto. Take the proper steps to secure your crypto and its safety. This should be a priority.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you truly believe in cryptocurrency on: April 19, 2018, 12:47:13 AM
I think that in order to truly believe in cryptocurrency, you need to believe in the underlying blockchain technology. While the sentiment surrounding cryptocurrency may not always be positive, the sentiment surrounding blockchain technology is largely positive. Massive companies are making the shift towards blockchain, and if that's any indicator for the potential success of cryptocurrency, then I'm a believer.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Choose a Good ICO on: April 19, 2018, 12:34:43 AM
They should has working product or minimum MVP (Minimum Viable Product), nice concept and idea. The project consist of professional and solid team. Learn more about review in some ICO review site and other some review from influencer in youtube really help to more understand the aim of the project.

Agreed. It's a solid indicator of a good project if they have a MVP. Hoard, for example, will be launching our TGE (token generation event) directly on our MVP. Projects should be transparent, have frequent updates, and accountable for promises they make (roadmap deadlines, etc).

30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don’t panic! on: April 19, 2018, 12:02:52 AM
The markets will rise, and the markets will fall, and they'll do it all over again. Patience is your friend, and if you make rash decisions based on feelings of panic, you'll most likely experience a negative outcome. Hang out, and enjoy the ride.

Goes to show you the importance of security. Hardware wallets, anti-virus/malware programs, the use of VPNs. Every precaution should be taken to ensure the safety of your hard earned money.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience is the key on: April 16, 2018, 11:07:24 PM
Not only do you need to be patient, but you must also be rational and accepting of the current market conditions. The choices you make now along with the attitude towards the current state of the market will define your future in cryptocurrency.
34  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to make a successful project? on: April 15, 2018, 03:31:44 AM
A few things that should be added here are making sure that you have a reliable team, and maybe above all things - BE TRANSPARENT.

The crypto world is one full of scams. Transparency goes a long way in building trust among your followers.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What services you wanna see with Bitcoin ? on: April 12, 2018, 02:56:02 PM
One day I would like to see Bitcoin payment system that is accepted all over the world, stable and secure. But I'm aware that this requires regulation and a lot of coordination and it will be hard to achieve.
Personaly I would like to see Bitcoin being accepted for travel arangements like travel agencies, all kinds of tickets and similar.

This sounds a lot like a part of what we're working on at Hoard. Two of the biggest obstacles we see are transaction times, and the sheer number of different coins that are a part of the market. We're building a payments system that will allow a coinholder to purchase with any cryptocurrency, and the seller to receive any crypto (or fiat) instantly.

If you want to pay with bitcoin, but the seller wants to receive EOS (or any other coin) we will make that transaction happen with no wait time.

We think this is the next step toward mass cryptocurrency adoption.
