Hi CAT users. Code Changes in 3.6 Is BIG Lot of GUI changes, Some fix and Order Restore Save/Load The biggest changes part is invisible to end-user : GUI Panel will be passive (if they are active on screen they will be update, otherwise they will be remove from memory). Graphics and Logical Code are completedly separated. This is the start of a new architecture that will help me to improve performances and maintenance routine. I think that this project will be completed with C.A.T. 4.0 So, why i'm writing this??? Because i need Beta Testers. I Will give CAT 3.6 in the next days to people who wants to receive the beta copy, then i will start to receive feebacks and suggestions. So, who wants to partecipate to 3.6 BETA?I would like to try it too..

If you're renting your hash, then somebody hit a block of an alt coin with your miner.
oh I see...my hash was redirected to an alt with lower diff and the miner found a block... I guess never stop learning... thx for explanation *hash use a hack in their "special" *hash cgminer versions called "extranonce subscribe" It allows them to point your miner at any pool, any sha256 coin at any time and you wont ever know. I wont put it in master cgminer - but the clone miner supports it in master also. I saw something about it...but I didn't install that firmware on my miners.....

Something else. Were you renting your gear? Pointing it to an alt coin? Because for that to have been a bitcoin block, best share would have had to have been at least 72,722,780,642
the share count make me perplex also.....and yes I'm renting my hash.... what it was then ? never saw that number above 0 before

F***ck... I stopped mining here few days ago and pointed my s3s to a normal pool and guess what... one of them found a block..... https://www.anony.ws/image/JgDZThat's not a BTC block what is it then ? in the http interface the "FoundBlocks" was also saying 1....and I never saw that before....it was always at 0

I noticed that my miners have been unable to connect to the USA servers (ccminer fails to get work from any algo) for the past few hours or so; have them using the EU server instead for the time being and it seems to be doing fine. One of my miners is also being reported as, "stuck", on the stats page for the USA server, with the same recorded hashrate for more than two hours, when the real hashrate has in fact been zero as it cannot connect to get work (I haven't received payment for this false hashrate either, so don't worry about that). At first I thought my IP might've received a temp ban for whatever reason (has happened on rare occassion), but the oddly stuck stats make me think that something's funky with the server. same here... and my accumulated BTC aren't payed and balance shows 0....

Ziploc, all the new chips are hitting the market, along with the biggest hashrate booster on the planet - Winter
lol...so true "Winter is Coming" watch out for the White Walkers

On the other hand, ASICs are the top of the line in mining and we're already pushing the limits of chip size and wattage available "at the wall" so without some serious breakthrough we may be at a plateau for a while. Just look at the S7's. They pull almost 1200 watts now on three hash boards. A lot of home walls only allow about 1200-1500 watts per "room" (circuit) so power consumption is just about pegged. Chips can't get much smaller at least for the next year or two, and I don't see them coming out with a quad fan (heat is a real issue with S7s) 240v industrial miner.
There's just not much money in it because purchasers are limited. Anyway, that's my line of thinking for now. It may change as the wind changes.
Actually I think that they will release an industrial miners... anw now the majority of hashing power is in huge farms.... Future will show

yes, next time it have to be more...
if it continues like that next jump in difficulty will bring it to 70 000 000 000
I feel the difficulty part of bitcoin very scary, it was around 35b when i start my mining it was uner 300million when i started...things have changed a lot over the last 3 years Seems the mining industry will be centralized in the end, maybe not the right word, but Bitfury etc and those that are putting a lot of money into asic design are those who are able to rise with the difficulty level And individual will only get "th"ph" by renting it Incorrect maybe? that's exactly what I think....and that's why time is of essence here...

I am depressed about it but what can you do?
this is what it is. If we always win and get what we want the life would be boring....
